I find the same shoes online at a major department store marked up. Here i recently purchased some Puma wedge sneakers for less than the price I saw online, let's just say that particular store is also in Firewheel. The service here, there are not very many representatives on the floor, but you do find them behind the checkout counter. You can tell they work because the presentation of shoes and displays all look well done.

They were originally purchased in Phoenix Arizona for New Year's Eve. I decided to wear something else and thus needed to return them once I got back home to Dallas. When I entered the store I wasn't greeted. I was absolutely treated with suspicion once I mentioned I was there to return shoes. The person I interacted with (Yessica- Assistant Manager) was extremely rude; she displayed none of the customer service skills expected in a retail environment. She told me the shoes were obviously worn because of the toe print within the shoe. I asked her to point out what she was seeing and she refused. I then asked "if they were worn don't you think the bottoms would be showing signs of wear? Or even the heel itself?". She then said...well if this is the way you received them you would have returned them the next day. I mentioned I got them while traveling which is why I waited a few weeks. I'm not exactly sure why that mattered as the return policy allows for 60 days. She refused to engage further. I asked to speak to a manager and she said I would need to return next week (I live 40 min away from the closet rack room shoes so that wasn't possible). She then called her manager and spoke in Spanish (so not exactly sure what was relayed). At that point I requested the information for corporate. This interaction has absolutely left me with the desire to never shop at Rack Room shoes again. I don't need to scam a shoe store by trying to return shoes I wore (the total cost was about $40). I feel I was treated with discrimination- especially as a black woman walking into the store.

I had multiple people ask me. How was I doing and if I was finding everything OK this really made the shopping experience wonderful. The only grip I have is how the cleaning supplies stop and then you have to go to a completely different aisle in another area of the store to find what you're looking for that kind of threw me off.
