    Food truck

Food was not bad. Took a while to prepare. But of course it was after a night out in Wynwood. We had the tenders with fries. Nothing too special. It was regular. Staff was friendly.

As soon I laid my eyes on the flamboyant purple truck stationed in front of my apt, I chucked my half eaten panini and walked over hoping it was in fact a food truck. Overall I enjoyed the California Bison Burger with a few picky complaints. It came with glazed potato buns which were sweet and chewy. This combined with the sweetness and fruitiness of the pineapple did not mesh well with the saltiness of the feta cheese, it was a bit nauseating for me. The "meat" of the problem was that the buffalo was overcooked, dry, and unseasoned. In my opinion the earthiness of a whole wheat bun would have gone well with the lean buffalo meat sprinkled with a touch of fleur de sel, freshly cut avocados (instead of brown oxidized avocado spread), a touch of feta (instead of their overpowering mound), grilled local portobellos, and some standard organic leaf lettuce (instead of arugula). Overall I would return to this truck just mainly for the novelty of the bison meat. Just make sure to warn them not to overcook the burgers.

    Black and blue bison burger

I've been really looking forward to eating at Purple People Eatery. Their truck really catches my attention and I love the fact that they have bison on their menu. I've been dieing to try them out and tonight I finally gave them a shot. I ordered the blackened bison burger, specifically the black and blue. I was not too impressed by it... It had bacon and blue cheese which worked well and gave the burger most of its flavor.Overall the burger itself I would rate as a 3 out of 5. The burger wasn't horrible... but i know I wouldn't order it again. The reason why I am giving Purple People Eatery a 2 is because of such a high price for such a small portion. $6-8 would be an appropriate price for that large slider. $10 for a burger patty that size is an overkill, definitely a bad value!!

This Food Truck is reliable when I'm looking for tasty food. I ordered the Mahi Tacos and for the first time - the Truffle Mac n' Cheese. OMG... both of these options are so so good. I wish that their menu had more of a selection, but they have perfected what they currently offer.

Everything was so flavorful, fresh, and it also felt very wholesome and healthy. We've already been back twice, and each time we tried different dishes and our favorite one is the Za'atar-Cheese. Saida was absolutely wonderful. So kind, attentive, and welcoming. She made our experience even better and you can tell she genuinely cares about the customers. The environment is really nice too. It's located in a small park where you can even take your kids to run around, which makes it perfect for a relaxed meal. It's not easy to find a place that's this consistent with both amazing food and great service. We'll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend if you want to try something delicious and different!

We actually visited twice in our short stay. The young man that made our wraps did a great job and he was there both nights we visited. I don't know how much you guys are paying him but he deserves a raise for doing such a great job and being there back to back late night working by himself. We got bit up by mosquitos while waiting because of the location, it would be nice if there was like an enclosed waiting area even if it was just nets around the tables to save customers from the bug bites.

Today, while waiting for something to print at Office Depot, I was searching for a nearby brunch spot when it popped up in my search & I'm so glad I did! First of all, the place is absolutely adorable. It was a packed Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Only one tiny table was left inside, though there were a couple outside too. Honestly, on a beautiful Miami morning, I wouldn't have minded sitting outdoors at all. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gabriela, our hostess and waitress, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind with a huge smile. She walked us through the menu, answered questions about dishes I didn't recognize (it's a Venezuelan spot, after all), and made us feel completely taken care of. Even more impressive was that she seemed to be the only waitress on duty yet never came across as flustered or hurried or anything other than pure sunshine! I ordered my longtime favorite, the arepa perica, just like I used to when I worked nearby, along with a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a chicken empanada to try. My father ordered the desayuno criollo. Everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the plating thoughtful, and the flavors delivered across the board. The space was lively and full of families, making it a great Sunday brunch spot. Everything was spotless, and I don't usually call that out because it should be a given, but the restroom was impressively clean. Like extra clean. I also just learned they have multiple locations now, which is amazing. Well deserved. I can't wait to go back, and I wish them continued success.

I placed an order online through their website and drove to pick it up only to find out that their own website listed the wrong address for this location that Apple Maps has the wrong hours for. What a mess! By the time I got to the wrong address and called to figure out what was going on, my food had been sitting for 30 min and I was still 15 min away from the right address + 25 min to where I was staying. I had ordered arepas, empanadas and ceviche. When I finally arrived to pick up I asked for the food to be remade specially the ceviche since I didn't feel comfortable eating something raw after it seating on the counter for over an hour due to their mistake. There was push back but they finally agree to re make the ceviche only. However the rest of the food was cold by the time we ate it. Very disappointing. Food was ok, not amazing or memorable
