The location right on the river is definitely the highlight -- watching the boats go by while eating fresh fish gives it an authentic old Miami feel that's hard to beat. The seafood market side is impressive, and the fish tastes fresh and well-prepared. That said, the experience can be a little inconsistent. Service depends heavily on how busy they are, and during peak times it can feel crowded and somewhat disorganized. Parking is also limited, although valet helps. Some dishes are excellent while others feel overpriced for what you get, especially considering the casual setup.

It was a bit pricey but thats the pricetag of seafood in the area unfortunately. Our waiter was attentive and quick. There were a lot of people due to the holiday but our plates were quickly cleaned up. Our food took around 30 minutes to arrive, and the portions were good and filling. My only complaint was that the bench seating outside was SO unconfortable. The table is too low compared to where you sit, which makes it hard to eat properly. In addition, the chair itself was so hard to sit on, and because of the awkward distance, its hard not to get food on your clothes.

Champagne…read morewas served as soon as we were seated, and we were also treated to a complimentary baba ghanoush, which was excellent. We started with the bone marrow appetizer, and it was truly outstanding -- incredibly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and so good we couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the steak and eggs. The crunchy brioche, earthy mushroom purée, and beautifully sliced steak came together perfectly, and the saltiness of the caviar tied everything together in a really thoughtful way. The picanha was another standout! incredibly tender and full of flavor. We paired it with the broccolini and wagyu fat potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the ube cheesecake empanada. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. The cocktails throughout the night were also excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we brought friends back later the same week. That visit was just as impressive -- we ordered the tomahawk steak, garden salad, bone marrow (again!), steak and eggs, truffle fries, broccolini, carrots, and tried all of the desserts. Once again, everything was delicious across the board. The only area for improvement would be the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, but at times too quick to clear plates and not proactive enough with the next course. At a restaurant of this caliber, I'd expect the dessert menu to be offered immediately after plates are cleared, rather than needing to track down a server. Overall, the food is exceptional, and we'll absolutely be back.

Wow, honestly, hands down the best wings I've ever had. The lime and sticky sauce were insane and unique, 10/10. The shimeji mushrooms were delightfully light, earthy, and herbaceous. The lotus root salad had an acidic sauce a slight spice from chili peppers, and was full of crunch. Finally, the Banana milk tres leches - the sweetness is subtle from the banana milk and coconut flakes, and the crunch from the cookie topping was a nice complement to the soft cake. My only complaint about the dessert was that it was tiny, but I'm also a dessert gal down boots. Lol Highly recommend leaning into the buzz and making a res.

Don't get me wrong, the ambiance is great and the vibes are calm and welcoming. The service was great. I was impressed with the prices and was excited for the food, considering this place has a Michelin rating. We got the goat curry, wings, and jungle steak tartare. The jungle steak tartare was really good and had a hint of sweetness. The wings had a really good crisp and great flavor, also a bit sweet. The goat curry was what disappointed me. I was expecting very flavorful curry, but it was much more bland and the goat was dry. I'm not saying the food was bad by any means. It was good; I just don't think it's as amazing as everyone describes, and my hopes were higher considering the ratings. I'm glad we tried it, but I probably will not return for more.

From the simple fish empanadas to the whole fried snapper, everything is delicious. Their seafood soup and conch soup are absolute must-try items for me; just writing this makes me crave them. If you order the fried shrimp or fish pieces, make sure to get the sauce as well. It's a great spot for healthy eating or for pescatarians since they only serve seafood. The service is straightforward: you just stand in line to order. While it isn't always packed, there are days with long lines and heavy wait times, but the staff tries to be fast and efficient. As for the ambiance, the restaurant is located in the heart of Allapattah. It features outdoor seating and smells of the sea; it might not look like much, but I guarantee the food is out of this world. You won't find another place like this with such fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. I will recommend this to my children and grandchildren, and I hope my entire legacy continues this tradition. Unfortunately, we were told that happy hour was only available at the bar. What was extremely disappointing was that they were not willing to work with us at all, despite the restaurant being empty. They would not allow us to sit at the bar while our baby slept in the stroller nearby, or sit at a booth while my husband ordered and closed out a happy hour tab at the bar. They also would not allow us to split orders -- for example, him ordering a couple of happy hour items at the bar while I ordered from the regular dinner menu at a table. The manager made no exception and was unwilling to find any reasonable solution. In the end, we were effectively excluded from happy hour simply because we had a baby with us. We ultimately had to leave and scrambled to find another place to have dinner at 7:30PM. The policy itself feels unnecessarily rigid, and the lack of flexibility or accommodation toward families was disappointing. Families should not feel penalized for dining out. I hope management reconsiders their policy, and how they handle situations like this in the future.

This wasn't just rude, this was harassment and borderline threatening behavior. Crusoe Wynwood clearly doesn't care about guest safety if this is who they hire. I don't care how trendy the place is. It's not worth dealing with a bunch of hostile, insecure bullies in security shirts. Out of all years of living in Miami never thought of going to this place and now for sure never go. I'll make sure everyone I know hears about this place.
