The hard ice cream seems like it comes from Bliss Dairy, similar to the other ice cream place in town. There is plastic picnic table seating with umbrellas in front of the trailer. I stopped by Josie's for a cold treat after having dinner. I ordered a Large Sundae ($8.50 plus tax) which includes choice of ice cream and choice of 3 toppings. I am aware the typical sundae is topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, and cherry. However, I decided on Mud Pie ice cream, topped with Reeses peanut butter sauce, pineapple sauce and crushed peanuts. My sundae was made as ordered and ready in 5 minutes. This large sundae had plenty of hard scoop mud pie ice cream (coffee ice cream with chocolate cookie pieces and fudge swirl), dense peanut butter sauce, plenty of crushed sweet pineapple and lots of crushed peanuts. I enjoyed this sweet cold treat with my dark roast iced coffee. Overall, Josie's Ice Cream Stand is a good convenient place to stop for ice cream, especially on those hot days.

Originally from Portland, Maine, the cousins later settled in Southern California. Impressed with the Los Angeles food truck industry, they decided to start selling Maine lobster in the L.A. area. Lobster was typically viewed as a pricey delicacy, only served in precious portions at fancy restaurants. The cousins saved up enough money to buy a food truck. East Coast transplants raved about the authenticity, freshness and the copious amount of meat in the lobster rolls. Their success really took off after they were featured on an episode of the TV series "Shark Tank". The brand expanded, more food trucks were bought, and the first brick & mortar location opened in West Hollywood in 2015. I recently sampled some of Cousins Maine's delicious lobster when I saw one of their trucks at a local brewery. The menu consists of items made from Maine lobsters, such as Maine Lobster Rolls, Connecticut Lobster Rolls, lobster quesadillas, lobster tacos, lobster grilled cheese, lobster bisque, as well as New England Clam Chowder. After looking over the menu, I decided to order some "Lobster Tacos" (Maine lobster served with cabbage, pico de gallo, cilantro lime sauce, flour tortillas).
