We went to the corn maze for Halloween. The people working the counter for tickets were super friendly and made us feel comfortable going in (we were a little nervous). The corn maze itself was so much more difficult than we thought it would be and I mean that in a good way. My husband & I visited Crescent Farms this past Saturday. We checked out nearby corn maizes and are so glad we decided on this special place in Haverhill. The corn maize was fun and we managed to get through it in about 30 minutes. Met a lot of other happy walkers on the way. After that, we went to visit the goats, cows and donkeys in the field which also included a pond. It was a beautiful sunny serene afternoon with adults and children enjoying the farm and the pastoral scenery. We purchased a dozen of the delicious apple cider donuts and enjoyed some on the way home. Admission was very reasonable, $8 per adult. We also brought home a pumpkin. Plan to return to try the hay ride and Richardson's ice cream. The staff was very friendly and gladly answered any questions we had. My husband said he had never seen a cow standing in a pond before but the staff member told us that the animals enjoy the pond, especially in the hot weather. Give 'em pumpkin to talk about! Went there for the first time for our first pumpkin patch and even though it was at night time it was a great experience. Had a wonderful time with my teenage kids and their friends today! We started our day with the the fun & challenging corn maze. Then went on the hayride and saw the beautiful autumn foliage on the farm!! Kids had a great time picking out pumpkins.Then ended the day with hot cider & donuts. The staff was professional and courteous. They went above and beyond to make this a memorable day!! We went for the evening corn maze and it was okay. The corn maze was the least challenging part of this trip though. There were absolutely no signs to inform you where to go. Or where to enter the maze. Or park. They were doing a tractor pull that night and got pissy because we drove through their area. Sorry, but rope it off. Or put up signs. It was fun, but super confusing. Maybe next year they can map it out a bit more. read more

I had never heard of this farm before but I'm glad I found it. I came here especially for the corn maze. Actually there are 2 that you go through. Beware....you need to bring a flashlight. I went to this farm with me and my daughter to see the animals and the sunflowers and we went to see the sunflowers cause there was no sign were it said we had to pay in order to enter then we were taking a photo of the sunflowers when all of a sudden this mini truck pulls up on us and the lady driving it said to us " YOU HAVE TO PAY TO TAKE A PHOTO THAT'S HOW WE MAKE MONEY UGH' and then we walked out of the sunflower area and we immediately left the farm I was thinking of buying some ice cream but no and it's not the first time this happens last time when we were there she was being racist to us VERY BAD FARM DO NOT RECOMMEND! I went to Crescent Farms with my cousins and my Aunt!! My cousins r 3 years old and 9 months!! It was absolutely beautiful, the animals were so entertaining and they definitely played a part in the experience!!! The Pumpkin patch was fun but there was not many good pumpkins. The ice cream was good but every flavor we wanted they didn't have but it was on the menu!!! The weather was very chilly so we wanted to sit inside but it was very difficult to, because there were only 4 tables!!!! We had to share a table with two other people and there was four of us!!!! This place is located a little off the beaten path, but well worth it! No big lines and the ice cream and froyo are great. If you are a froyo fan... the choices are a few: 10 or so. We love Crescent Farms for several reasons. #1 is they have the best, creamiest & most flavorful ice cream I've ever had since my family used to make our own ice cream!!! Their prices are very good & service is always quick. The #2 reason is that in the Fall, Crescent Farms sells all sizes & types of pumpkins & gourds. We go several times during the Fall to buy these for indoor & outdoor decorations. The pumpkins & gourds are always fresh enough to last thru Halloween & Thanksgiving home decorating. Took our 4 yr old here today to pick out her pumpkin for this year. She had so much fun. They have a nice sized play ground area for the kids. I have stopped at Crescent Farms a few times each for soft serve ice cream. However, the past few times the price has increased and the servings are extremely small. My last trip by the time I tipped the girl and paid for a medium soft serve it was over 5.00 and the cone was the size was two rings of soft serve around the cone with a little tip, no more then two inches high. lol, I had to question if it was a small or a medium. Shrug. I LOVE soft serve, and was psyched when we found it locally. I rated a 3 in stead of a one because I am sure they are a very hard working family and perhaps just need to re train the youngsters who work there ? read more

I went to Crescent Farms yesterday with my boyfriend and we drove up from Milton, MA. Well worth the drive! It was a beautiful day and the staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Very reasonable prices and many pumpkins to choose from. Between the both of us, we got 6 pumpkins for a total of $18. They had great flavors of Richardson's ice cream, I got apple crips and he got pumpkin. There were animals to see, gorgeous views all around, and we sat and ate our ice cream. We then took a hayride and saw the whole property. After the hayride, we were dropped off at the corn maze which I assumed would be small and easy, but was actually very fun and kept it interesting. My family and I recently did the corn maze at Crescent Farms and it was great! I have three young children and it took the perfect amount of time for us to get through with them.
