If you guys really look at the prettier arrangements on this site, notice they're all uploaded from the business owner, not actual customers. So no wonder they look great... I ordered a funeral spray for a family members final goodbye. The product looked great on their site. But the final product was nothing as we had expected. We even paid extra for a banner, that looked horribly hand written, and traced, lines were not straight, font was not even. The flowers themselves were wilted. And the spray wasn't a full spray. It was a disgrace of a representation for a FUNERAL as this was our last tribute to our dearly departed. Attempts were made with the business to no successful result. I don't like to share negative feedback on any businesses, but this was a complete rip off and disgrace. So if you're looking for flowers for a special occasion, please shop elsewhere unless you want your arrangement looking as dead as a funeral. read more

I ordered with Elena for a work event and they did not disappoint. The flower arrangement came out like we visioned. We had requested that the vase be flushed with the table and not seen, have only white and red flowers and they did exactly that. We ordered 3 center pieces and they were all pretty similar and costed us $50 a piece. I always prefer supporting local businesses when I'm able to and working with purple violet was great. They were super responsive and the turnaround time was less than 48 hours. The only thing our team was not thrilled about is the vases. They weren't the best but yet there was a rental and deposit for them. They could easily be given with the arrangement and added in the price so we wouldn't have to worry about returning them. I second the terrible reviews of the delivery time. This was a terrible experience and made me lose face with my fiancé and her family. In my opinion I would use a different business these people are not reliable. It is basic common sense that if a delivery service agrees to deliver flowers to a business this needs to be done during business hours not hours and hours later. UPDATE: If I could give this company zero stars, I would. After my earlier review about their failure to deliver on time, they canceled my order completely--despite me explicitly telling them not to. At this point, it's hard to see this as anything other than a vindictive, retaliatory move instead of an actual attempt to fix their mistake. Valentine's Day is completely ruined. Instead of owning up to their failure and making things right, they doubled down by ensuring I didn't even get a late delivery--just nothing at all. I've never seen a company handle a mistake so badly. They had one job: deliver flowers I paid for. Instead, they wasted my time, made empty promises, then took it a step further by canceling my order on purpose. If you're thinking about ordering from this company, ask yourself: do you really want to take the risk? My husband purchased this bouquet of flower from Purple Violet to be delivery to me on Valentines day. As you can see that upon receiving the flower I was so disappointed with the quality of the flower. It wasnt fresh at all, a lot of the petals were already wither. Not to mention that the delivery was two hours late with no communication until he asked. I told him to contact the florist and that we were not happy or satisfied with the quality of the flower. The florist offer a 10% discount for next purchase, but I definitely would not return for a bad quality flowers. We were told that it was just the color of the rose or the rose style "pink mondial" which I totally understand that it has a greenish on the edge of the petal. However, it is not just the color but the petal itself were all wither and the stems were also wither. For $600 on this was such a disappointed and we dont feel like it was worth it at all. Plus they dont even take the time to get a nice post card or good quality of print out even though they charge my husband for it. read more

I ordered flowers for somebody that were delivered on Friday. I found it odd I didn't hear back so I reached out to Elena at the florist. She said they were delivered. I decided to make the uncomfortable inquiry with the recipient. I didn't want to do so and look like I was soliciting a thank you. Turns out I'm glad I did. They flowers were apparently beautiful. Nice job PV. BUT- they had not put my name in the card, even though I had filled out the form precisely as needed. And even worse, the recipient called the florist to ask who sent them and they WOULD NOT TELL HER! You would think the person would check so see if there had been a name in the card and let her know.
