It has to be hard dealing with family and mostly partygoers on a busy Saturday, but I was thoroughly impressed by the staff at this location. Great service, pricing was good-even able to use the 10% off coupon from the Jet Express coupon page. Employee Saturday afternoon even gave us a ride back to the docks- thank you SO much for that! After a day of adventure, that really was appreciated. It is a nice added addition for choices to rent carts on the island. We've been coming to the island for 65 years, a lot has changed. Certainly not as much freedom with all the new rules everywhere you go but that's society causing that, same with how expensive it's gotten. Still a beautiful island. Just wish the majority of the young people that are employed there at the establishments had some training on being more personable and welcoming and not so robotic just stating what the rules are and short on answering questions. I rented a golf cart for maybe 3 and a half hours and it cost over 100.00 to me it is kind of a rip off it was a 4 seater and not to mention you have to pay to park it so I did not enjoy any sights just basically drove around and left. The staff was nice but they should have like some type of refund if you only had it for a few hours and not a full day.i know it is 30.00 an hour but still. And plus the golf cart steering wheel was messed up. read more

The owner was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for her staff. We called in from the ferry for a pick-up, which we were very grateful that they offered, but the guy that came to pick us up missed our group twice before stopping to get us. That alone wasn't terrible; what I found inexcusable was that he was in such a hurry to get back that he didn't bother to check if the whole group was in the cart before leaving. My brother in law was not on the cart at all and my wife, who was holding our baby, was half way on when he started moving, resulting in her getting injured. I wanted to leave a lower review for this reason, but she didnt want the business to suffer for one bad employee, hence the 3 stars. cart was old had black mold on back seat no foot bar... the blinkers didn't work. was told we had free parking everywhere by employee when we left the lot. recieved a ticket the cops told us to take it up with the golf rental place and the employees when we dropped it off didn't give a shit about any of our complaints. had to pay the ticket. never renting from them again read more

Everything everyone says about this place being a rip off and sketchy is true. Got charged before I even got there and it was $30 extra because they said online I asked for overnight and I did not. Even after showing them a screenshot I took of denying overnight they said they charged it because my departure date from my room was the next day. Complained about this and they would not refund it even though I'm returning it same day. Then they said only way we could have rental is if we left our I.D. or a credit card in a drawer in an open office. Who does that!! Rent from literally anywhere else but this place. They were the only ones on the island with a 6 seater who had availability so I had no other choice but to rent from them but I was NOT thrilled. You have to leave your physical credit card or ID - which is ridiculous. You need your ID to go anywhere or literally, IF YOU GET PULLED OVER. So that's dumb. And the people were so rude there that I'm honestly thinking I want to get a new credit card just in case. Also, you don't get a confirmation that your reservation went through until hours later so you really have no idea if it was taken or not... and when it does go through, your receipt has your WHOLE credit card number and info on it. I have no idea how that's good practice but it all makes me super skeptical. Also, had issues with spiders overtaking the cart nearly everytime we stopped and left it for more than an hour... these really need a good spray down. If you can avoid renting from here, DO IT. The staff needs some attitude adjustments. The smirking and comments under your breath are incredibly immature and unneeded.. read more

When I arrived to get my golf cart at 7 I was told they closed at 9pm and I would have to have the golf cart back by then. I chose not to rent one and I was still charged $87. if i could give 0 stars i would! we went to book online and they didn't give us a price but still charged our card, we realized it was for the wrong dates (we wasn't goin to be here for them days) so we called they said we had to send an email, we sent an email AND went down they told us they could not fix it and still charged our card ! Also told us that they couldn't refund it and that our credit card wouldn't (which is a lie) we also did not get to rent the golf card sense it was for the wrong days. After all that the man was very rude to us. they also wanted us to leave ID. or a card until we brought the cart back which was 2 days obviously we need out ID and what happens if you only have one card. We rented a golf cart and it ended up losing power and stalling out on us multiple times and wouldn't even drive very fast. They were willing to swap it out for us however when we returned the cart they put the cart right back in line for people to rent again after we already told them it was having issues. read more

This place sucks. They gave my girlfriend and I a cart that was out of gas, after we explicitly told them that it appeared to be out of gas.....and told us it was full. We broke down on the opposite end of the island and had to take a taxi back to their shop. You would think this horrible experience would negate some of our cost? No. The 12 year old girl working behind the counter had the nerve to tell us that we "signed a contract" for the carts and that she had to charge us (our card hadn't even been ran yet). Pretty sure we didn't sign a contract for a Gas-less cart....I thought for sure we would be getting some sort of credit for the cab fare, but the child charged us full-price!!! read more

These carts are junk. Steering was out of alignment, got a new one and it was even worse. UNSAFE because of the extreme swaying and floating. Couldn't drive in the rain because windshield was missing. Also rear view mirror was missing which was even more unsafe the way cabs drive on the island. I wanted to rent a 6-seat golf cart for the day with my family of four and my in-laws. I made the (online-only) reservation the evening below. My mother-in-law unexpectedly fell ill this morning and could not risk going. Since we wanted to make this a family trip, I requested to cancel the reservation. I was told per policy that since it wasn't 24-hours in advance, they will not cancel. My family wanted to go on the following Friday instead, so I asked if they can just move the reservation to Friday, regardless if my mother-in-law goes. They wouldn't budge and are attempting to charge my card for a day's rental. So now they are "double-dipping" from both me and another person that they will rent the cart out to today. I was also told from a phone call that I cannot speak to management and they would only reply to emails. In these times, one would expect that a business would be more flexible when dealing with ill customers, but this one is not the case. This is very unacceptable and I strongly suggest not doing business with this company. read more

This company is a scam. they are one company which do business as two different names. Put in Bay Golf cart rentals and Delaware golf carts. I reserved a 6 person from Put in Bay Golf carts, then 2 days later downgraded to a 4 person for July 16th. Mark (owner?) confirmed the change via email. Unfortunately I had the date for the 16th and should have been 15th. When my husband and children arrived and gave name he indicated that the reservation was for the following day, but they had one and just needed a credit card. My family confirmed to cancel the one for the 16th and rented the 4 person for the day. After reviewing my Amex I was charged 120 for the 6 person and 76.00 for the one my husband rented. Dispite several email and telephone calls I have yet to recieve any reponse from the company. My family indicated they were very disorganized, but did say the reservation was for tomorrow at Put in bay, but by husbands credit card charge was from Delaware. they confirmed this was the same company!!! They don't even deserve 1 star. Don't rent from here. They are cheap but you'll regret it. We rented two 4 person carts. After leaving realized one had zero power. Went back and decided to exchange it for a 6 person cart and paid the $10 difference. Went to turn the other 4 person cart in and was told I wouldn't get a refund or charged for only 1 hour because I had rented it for the whole day, so we had to keep that cart all day too. They also make you leave a drivers license or credit card when you rent. This isn't on their website anywhere and when asked was told that people don't like to return the carts so that is their policy. They need to update their website to reflect that because I didn't bring my purse but luckily had my license along with one credit card. Left my license cause I wouldn't have been able to purchase anything if I had left the only credit card I brought. Girls at window not very friendly and very abrupt.
