I booked for my friend's bachelorette party and I am beyond thankful I found them. The original bar we went to wasn't what we expected. I was so stressed because I wanted the bride to be happy. Since Racquel and DaMante are so amazing and attentive, they checked on us and offered to take us to other spots in town. Since they had connections, we were able to go to all the best spots! At one bar, DaMante took over the entire place and became the DJ and hype man. It was like a movie. He made the place come alive and we would have had a boring night without them. Above and beyond would be an understatement. They were also so caring and patient looking after 20+ women having a good time! The vibes and service were immaculate and I will forever cherish this experience and how happy it made my friend. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had all thanks to Racquel and DaMante. Incredible humans and business. Also, Racquel is a fantastic owner. Excellent and timely communication and so warm and kind. I could not recommend booking with them enough. All I expected was transportation, lights and some good music to our destination. Little did I know they were the entire party! Thank you so much Racquel and DaMante!!!

The location has a cool, eclectic vibe thanks to the owners' creative touch; they specialize in refurbishing materials into one-of-a-kind furniture and decor. While the food menu is limited, we have enjoyed everything we tried. Outside there is a piano on the patio and live music often fills the air. Overall it is a great hangout that will surround you with creativity.

In April I contacted The Winerie about a Christmas Party on Dec. 5th 2025, at that time I spoke with the Manager who was let go before our party. We received all the menues and contracts. We signed the contract and made the deposit. In October we never heard from anyone to finalize the menu so I reached out to the said Manager and I was told she no longer works there and gave me the "new" managers number. I called and sent numerous texts with no response. We finally called Winerie and spoke with a bartender who stated she would have someone call me back. I did get a text that said when is the best time to call you, I told her anytime before 2:30. A few days later she called back we touched base on what we had planned, she asked if we signed a contract and made a deposit as she has no record of us booking. From that point on I no longer had phone conversations with anyone everything had to be done via text. When I asked if someone could call she stated no she is very busy as she wears many hats. Fast forward to the time of our party!! UGH they had 5 tables reserved with a white tablecloth on them thats it no salt/pepper no water nothing. Okay fine we can overlook that. The food was finally served and they put out a tossed salad that was big enough for 1 person, when we went to ask for more they stated sorry we have no more lettuce in the whole place. We were supposed to get rolls and butter nope they didn't have those either. When we went to the bar for beer they ran out of that as well we had to change what we drank. The roasted carrots where hard the potatoes where spungy. The chicken was DRY as the saraha desert. The lasagna was very good. We ran out of food!!! We had to go to the bar and ask if they had any more they said oh yes we will get someone to bring more. They brought our more lasagna and some cabbage that they called a salad but never brought out any chicken. We had to ask for salt and pepper, and more plates. No one cleaned off the tables after dinner we had to bus our own tables and put them on an empty table. One of our guests bit into a bite of chicken and pulled out a 3" piece of dark hair that had food attached to it. The desert constisted of cheesecakes from Sams Club. No one came to check on us at all during the evening, we had to go ask where we were set up, and had to ask when food was going to be served. When we went up to pay they did take money off the bill because we complained but then turned around and charged us a 20% gratuity. Why, why didn't we get to say what we wanted to pay because we had no service other than the bartenders getting the drinks. I do not recommend this facility RUN!!! At…read morecheck-in, I explicitly requested a quiet room and was instead placed next to the noisiest common area of the hotel, with children screaming and adults partying late into the night -- an issue clearly reflected in many other reviews. What happened next is far more troubling. Despite having a Do Not Disturb sign on our door for our entire stay, housekeeping entered our room while we were not present and set our alarm clock to go off at 6:00 a.m. We never used or set the alarm at any point. This was not an isolated incident. The exact same thing happened to at least two other guests we spoke with, each of whom also had Do Not Disturb signs displayed and whose alarm clocks went off at exactly 6:00 a.m. the same morning. After being woken up at 6:00 a.m., a male housekeeper opened our door again at 8:00 a.m., waking us a second time -- three hours before checkout. Thankfully, I was in the room, as my 14-year-old daughter was asleep. I immediately reported this to the front desk and was casually told it was a "mistake." Entering an occupied guest room multiple times with a Do Not Disturb sign displayed is not a mistake -- it is a serious breach of privacy and guest safety. To make matters worse, housekeeping carts and equipment were loudly pushed through the halls throughout the day and evening, making rest nearly impossible. The hotel also does not provide basic cable, meaning channels like NBC and ESPN were unavailable -- disappointing during a major national event like the Olympics. I made multiple attempts to contact the hotel's manager, Matthew Watson, and received no response whatsoever. This property shows little respect for guest privacy, safety, or basic comfort. If you value a quiet stay or personal security, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

I have to give a special shoutout to Kayla who was awesome checking us in! The lobby was decorated for Halloween and looked super festive and fun, so that was a nice welcome after a bit of a long travel day. The amenities are pretty good, with an indoor pool, fitness center, free breakfast, and a little snack area to buy items. Our room had a mini fridge, which I always appreciate to keep my water cold. The shower didn't drain well, but the bed was comfy. The room was a bit loud, but I sleep with earplugs so that doesn't really bother me. Our room had a door to the next room, which I always think is kind of weird if you're not with a group that you are traveling with, but we didn't have any issues. We could definitely hear people in the adjoining room talking, though. The location is nice and super easy to get downtown, plus you have a huge entertainment complex right next door with bowling, a bar, sports book, laser tag, etc. There was plenty of parking in the lot when we were there.

We spent 2 nights on a weekend at the resort. We booked the…read morebunk room which had 2 bunks and a king sized bed at the room/waterpark only rate in late February 2026. The good: Waterpark and room were clean. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Kids really enjoyed themselves (10 and 14). There are lots of restaurant options within 3-5 miles to fit any budget. The majority of lifeguards took their jobs seriously and enforced rules. It was less expensive than other indoor waterparks. Room fridge was great for storing snacks and drinks. Nearly everywhere in the hotel is crazy loud, but, the craft room was a great place to take a sensory break and slow down for a bit. The area by the aquarium on the third floor was also quieter often. There was a seating area for reading and tables available for boardgames with a view of the bay. The bad: We waited in line at 4:15 pm for a half an hour to just check in. They had a line of people filling the entire lobby with 4 staff checking people in. It was not streamlined at all. The changing room did not have a curtain or door on it. Nor did the bunk room. The only place to change privately was the small room off the bathroom with toilet and shower. Walls are paper thin. You will hear everything going on in the hall and the rooms around yours. We also happened to be right off the elevator bank which added a whole new level of noise. Elevators are slow and tiny. With luggage, you can fit 3-4 people tops. We chose the stairs almost every time despite our room being located on the 3rd floor right next to the elevators. That said, the stairwells are super loud as it's all metal and cement/concrete. Large attractions do close. The wave pool was closed half the day Saturday which was our kids favorite thing. You need a special card for any arcade, bowling, or golfing you do and that's an extra $3 charge plus what you load onto it. They have cute character "room doors" throughout the hallways. These are often right next to a room door and kids will push the buttons to make them talk all day/night. So many of the areas were unnecessarily loud. You couldn't hear anyone speak in the arcade or waterpark. Stairwells were like banging on metal drums while they echoed between 4 floors. The ugly: Their mini golf (albeit it glow course) is highway robbery. $10 per person (despite being told it was $6 by staff) and only 8 holes. The 9th hole was just putting your ball up a ramp into their skee-ball cup. If you mad it a fun sound went off, if you didn't, it collected it and played a failed sound. Our "bay view" window was COVERED in bird poop and cobwebs on the exterior side. The entire side of the building was filthy to look at. I would not suggest paying extra for the view. This might have been a one off experience in the activity pool but the one time we tried it, I had teenagers tackling me from behind as they fought over basketballs. I was pushed over multiple times by them when they crashed into me (and others in the pool) and nothing was done about it by parents or lifeguards. My kiddo and I eventually left because the ball he and another younger kid were playing with kept getting takin by the teens. Overall, it was a cheaper room option than other places but I'm not sure we'll be going back again. The extra fees for everything else adds up quick and sleep was nearly impossible with the noise level around our room.

The arcade is also nice and spacious, with a great variety of games that seem well-maintained. However, there's some issues that really detract from the experience. Customer service was my biggest gripe. The check in guy was pretty cold at first, but later he was more helpful. I was especially disappointed with the snack bar staff. The water park snack bar is in a dimly-lit corner, and when I went in, there was no one visibly working there. After a minute, a lady came out from the back, and I asked if the snack bar was open at that time. She gave me a condescending look, and didn't say anything, as if I should obviously expect the location to be open, despite the lack of an open sign or employee behind the counter. Then another guy comes out and starts making the order and neither him nor his coworker talked at all, just kinda scowled and made my partner and I feel like we were doing something wrong just by being respectful paying customers. They were the kind of workers I'd expect to see at a run-down McDonald's late at night, not a family vacation resort. The hotel itself is also nothing special. The beds are small and not particularly comfy, but the rooms are clean and nice enough. But the walls are THIN and you hear way too much noise from other guests. Overall: good waterpark+okay hotel+bad staff=mixed experience

The host and servers were quite friendly, but they were objectively understaffed during our visit. Regardless, they seemed to handle the guests well and didn't keep us waiting too long. The bread and butter prior to the meal was excellent. I also enjoyed the Charcuterie and the French Onion Soup. For my meal I ordered the Almond Crusted Walleye figuring that some fresh local fish would be a strong choice. Unfortunately, the dish was merely whelming and a bit disappointing considering my high expectations. Honestly, I thought the meal started out great and gradually slid as we went. We also added a glass of wine and a cocktail. This is not a cheap meal. I would certainly give them another whirl, but considering the price and location, it will likely have to wait a couple years before we get another go around.

For those who remember Huron's beloved Salmon Run Restaurant, this new chapter pays homage to that rustic, wildlife-inspired charm. Think Bass Pro Shop vibes meets modern Midwest dining, complete with warm wood finishes and nods to the natural surroundings. I ordered a local Ohio Blonde Ale and the bolognese, and let me tell you--it was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and comforting. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and made our family dinner feel extra special. The Miller's Table isn't just a resort restaurant--it's a destination on its own. Whether you're staying at the lodge, golfing nearby, or just exploring the area, make this a must-stop for dinner. Rustic. Refined. Ridiculously good.
