In the meantime, sit back, relax do whatever, to pass the time. Once they call your number, the process is very fast It's pretty organized here, compared to some of NY DMV's, I've been to. Covid screwed a lot of places where you HAD to be seen in person. So far so good. No horror story to tell.

Plenty of spots today which was unusual. The two employees when I walked in were very friendly and helpful. My appointment was 1105. I checked in at 1055 because you can't check in until 10 minutes before your appointment. I sat until 1140. The woman at the window acted like she didn't want to be there or help me. She was concerned with singing and talking to the employee next to her. However, she was very efficient. I was there for a registration. I was leaving at 1143. Mixed review of government inefficiency. Could have been much worse.

Buy if you need things like registration replacement or license renewal or simple things, they can help. Keep in mind that this is a business authorized to execute DMV transactions so there is a service fee on top of whatever the DMV charges. When I walked in I was greeted by a man who asked if I had an appointment and when I responded yes, he pointed me in the direction I needed to go. I had a 11am appointment and I arrived early like 10:36, so not crazy early lol To my surprise at 10:58 my ticket number was called and I was at the counter. The lady at the counter was full of personality. She got me in and out before 11:30. This time the parking only cost me, $3. Overall when you have to go to the Dmv automatically you think of drama and stressful day but my experience there today was calm and easy. I had never been to this location but figured I'd give it a try. I had a 9:15 am appt and I…read morearrived before they opened. This location has a large public parking lot which was surprising very full at 9:00 am but I did get a spot. I walked up to the kiosk at the front door, clicked that I had an appt, then put in my phone number and out printed a ticket. I noticed this location is quite small with a few benches and chairs and only about 3-4 service windows so I can imagine it getting crowded quickly. I normally go to the one in the city of Newburgh which is much larger inside and yet has a smaller parking lot. I only waited about 10 mins when my number got called and my counter person was very nice. I was renewing my enhanced driver license and wanted a new picture. I had all the forms ready (they require you come with all the completed forms prior to your appointment) and everything including taking my picture only took 10 mins. I realized I had to rewrite my check as I had the wrong amount and made it out to the wrong name but I brought my check book so I could write a new one. All in all it was a very pleasurable experience and I will definitely be back!
