A cancer survivor, I don't know that I have ever been so impressed with a medical facility. From the second I walked through the doors I was greeted by a lovely receptionist, who took care of a myriad of paperwork. I had an ultrasound on my first visit and Radiologist Dr. Martinez told me she didn't think I needed to proceed with a breast biopsy as nothing was seen on my ultrasound. She recommended a follow up with a mammography, which I had the following week. Holly did the mammogram and she was wonderful. My greatest appreciation to Radiologist Dr. Bernard who reviewed all my films and made a plan moving forward. As it turned out the imaging from the other facility, which recommended a biopsy was not a quality image. Special appreciation to Lisa...you are awesome! I will never go anywhere else for imaging. The entire practice works like a clock and I am so relieved and grateful.

Wasn't bad it was only 20 minutes from where we were staying From the receptionist to the MRI clinicians, everyone was so nice and friendly. I recommend stand-up MRI to anyone that has claustrophobic fears. I wish they had these in Rhode Island. It's time for our state to catch up in Medical technology.

After being taken to a back room, a woman entered and stated she was there to take information. She…read morethen informed me she would be inserting an IV and performing a test before administering contrast dye. When she inserted the IV, she was unable to get it to work. Instead of removing and restarting properly, she repeatedly moved the needle in and out of my vein. This was uncomfortable and concerning. Eventually, she removed the IV and wrapped my arm. She called for another woman to assist, but when that person was unavailable, a man nearby stated he could help. She agreed and left the room. The second staff member applied the tourniquet extremely tightly. I told him it was very tight. When he inserted the IV needle, I immediately told him it was very painful and that something did not feel right. Despite this, he continued. When he attempted to inject fluid, it infiltrated into my arm rather than into the vein, and the area around the site visibly swelled. Only then did he remove the needle. I have never had difficulty with IV placement or blood draws in the past, including blood work done just two weeks prior without issue. This experience was painful, distressing, and felt improperly handled. I am especially concerned that my repeated statements about pain and discomfort were not taken seriously.

However the ladies in the front were nice but not informative with my insurance. I came here precisely because my HMO told me to since it was in network. My case worker told me it would be a certain price and when I got here I paid another. So my husband mentioned it to the lady in the front desk and she said she'll look into it. She did and before I left she told us we were right! Imagine if I didn't pay attention I would've gotten ripped off. She mentioned I'll get reimbursed.

This is the one that is located next to the Brownwood Hotel and also... just for reference... Wolfgang Puck restaurant. There is also a Starbucks in the very near perimeter. The ladies that work at Lake Medical Imaging (Brownwood location) where extremely attentive to my mother as they got her ready for her CT scan. For the first time ever ... I didn't mind "hanging out" in the office there while I waited for my mother to finish her CT Scan.
