All 22 holes are in a pretty confined space which works well when you have young kids, and it also allowed the folks managing the course to easily space out patrons so that the course doesn't get backed up. Perfect spot for family fun time! I loved it here. This is my take: - The casual atmosphere. Come as you are, come with friends, family a date, I almost guarantee a good time. - Plentiful plays and no frills approach to mini golf. Just straight good ol fun. This place isn't huge but we stayed for about an hour and played through the whole thing without feeling rushed. - Loved the Hole-in-One brag board. My elderly Dad and I went this past Thursday. It was 95 degrees out. They had misters, but it was still too hot. We ended up leaving about 10 minutes after we arrived. Just a warning it's in the parking lot so it's quite hot from the cement/asphalt retaining the heat and little shade. While we were there it was a lot of fun. They have I think 12 holes so it's a long course. There was a group of people in front of us so there was always a little wait to putt. We putted 2 holes. It's a bit challenging, but we still got close to par. We were given passes to come back, so I'm looking forward to golf more on a cooler day. read more

Literally the best putt-putt place I've ever been to! I absolutely love how everything was hand built. So unique! It is outside on a parking lot. But there are umbrellas near each hole & misters to help keep you cool whilst you play. There are 18 holes plus I think 4 bonus holes which are each little challenges. I thought that was pretty neat & something different. They also have a patio area to throw birthday parties & such so that's cool too. There's a rumor the owner is building something like this in Fairfield which would be AMAZING because I'd visit often with my nephews! read more

This place is so cool! It is tucked away near downtown Walnut Creek, parking is easy, it is also walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Love the craftsmanship that went into making each hole! So creative and fun. There are 21 holes and 3 "game changer" holes which add a fun twist to the game! I'm unsure if they have food and drink for order or if BYO. + They are constantly working, wood-shop style, on new holes to play. + Dedicated, not overly busy parking lot. Things to consider: - I didn't see any indoor seating, so consider that if people are temperature-sensitive or don't want to be here. I just had my son's 13th birthday party at putters and I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff, owners, and venue! It's always tricky finding a place for a bunch of 13-year-olds to stay entertained but Putter's hit the mark! We rented the party space which had ping-pong, cornhole, darts, and big Jenga, along with many picnic tables and a big shade for cover from rain or sun. All of the kids, and some of the dads, had such a blast! It was the easiest and most fun we have had for a kids party! I cannot recommend them enough! read more

This is a great hole-in-the-wall golf course! 21 holes but 3 extra holes just for fun. Each hole has something fun and unique. There's one hole that's a cross between pinball and plinko; several with bridges or moving targets; and two that are Rube Goldberg-esque. Very creative and fun course! We enjoyed it, as did our 4 year old. Very family friendly. This golf course is home made by the owner so there are some imperfections in the course, but we thought that made it even more fun! It was also more creative than other more corporate-type mini golf courses. They hold birthday parties in the mornings. Been here twice for regular mini golf and also held a kids birthday party here. Highly recommend for both! For weekend mid-morning parties you get the whole course for an hour, then you keep to the "party zone" which has covered tables and various kid friendly games. They don't have food here but it's close to a couple of pizza places including Pizza My Heart right across the street. Kids and parents all had a blast. read more

I never thought I would enjoy mini golf (I've only tried it once in my life and wasn't a fan) but I had so much fun here! My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday night after dinner to burn off the calories and didn't research beforehand that the place closes at 7:30pm. We walked up to the front table at 7:23pm but the owner still let us play! That was super sweet of him, he said another group had just started as well so he was going to stay open for us. The cost is $10 a player and there are 22 holes in this game. The owner said he just built the 22nd hole, and that's what's so neat about this place, is that all the holes are hand-built by the owner. The entire course is outdoors, and there aren't any heating lamps, so if you go at nighttime like we did, make sure you bundle up. Back in February 2021, this place was located in the restaurant walk part of downtown past the La Sen restaurant, but now it's in its own lot near The Habit. Hole #7 is one of my favorites because it's built for 4 people to play at a time. We were able to breeze through each hole quickly because we were 1 of the only 2 parties there at night, but we walked by the next day in the afternoon and there were a tons of families. read more

Hosted our son's 8th birthday here and it was amazing. The party zone was perfect and they decorated it for our event. The kids (and adults!) had a blast and it was so stress free and easy. They even brought us a wagon to help move stuff to and from the car. All the kids got to keep a souvenir ball. The course is super fun and unique, and the party zone has access to ping pong, darts, foosball, giant jenga and connect four, and pop a shot basketball. We came to Putter's in downtown Walnut Creek to kick off summer break. Upon arriving, I quickly realized that it was closed! With four excited kids waiting, I panicked - until the owner, Sean, happened to show up. He was prepping for a private party and allowed us to come in and play while he set up. Wow!! He saved the day and the kids had a great time! The course is a lot of fun and much bigger than I expected from the street view, below. Outdoor mini golf course with 23 holes. It had a good variety of holes with different features and configurations. A couple unique designs I haven't seen anywhere else and it's fairly spread out so it was never busy and we didn't ever have to wait for another group to go before proceeding. It took about 30 mins for my kids to clear it, but the management didn't care that we went again and tried some of the games/challenges that were set up. Very reasonable price also. read more

Sean knows how to deliver great hospitality as he was friendly and welcoming. This was our first time there and upon arrival we thought we were too old for the crowd but decided to join the fun anyway. We had our dog with us who had a great time as well since all he wanted to do was chase the balls haha. The younger children were great with him even though he's skittish with kids. My cousin and I came here on a windy Wednesday night and had a blast. The golf course is next to The Habit and across Pizza My Heart. There was plenty of parking when we showed up. We met the owner(?), Sean, who helped us get the game rolling. Each player was $10. We were the only two players, so we could take our time with each hole - which we definitely needed for some of the holes! Unlike other mini golf courses, this one has 21 holes. There's also what seems like a small, fun party area with foosball tables and basketball courts. The only small gripe I have is on hole #5 (I think, the one with the bridge), the course is a bit uneven, so balls gravitate towards the bottom left corner. Otherwise, the place is pretty neat.
