It was my husbands birthday and I was going away so needed to find another place to go. I was able to get a last minute appointment in at the screamin peach. Making the appointment was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Arrived at the location. It is difficult to find a parking spot right on college where they are, and if you are lucky enough to find a spot its pretty hard to back out onto college. Traffic doesn't want to let you out. I would high recommend parking on laurel instead. Once you arrive you have to call to let them know you are there. You will need to wear your mask inside and then use their hand sanitizer or bring your own in to use once inside. The person who worked on me was great. She did a good job and i was very happy with my full leg wax. However, Kristi at Waxing moon is still my favorite and i will be going back to her for my next visit. The prices were a little higher than what I pay at my other studio. The rooms are also private Overall i was happy and I was very thankful to be able to get in so last minute.

Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review for this company. I was going to this location for about…read morea year and loved my aesthetician and was using her over and over again. In December 2023 I purchased packages because I was going so often to get waxed it sounded like a great deal pay for your waxes ahead of time and just get waxed for the next 12 months with having to pay every time. It was great until my aesthetician was let go in the month of June 2024 and she opened her own shop so of course I followed. I called EWC to request a refund and was unaware of the 30-day package purchase policy and now I can't get refunded for the remaining packages it can only be used as store credit now. I am no longer going back to EWC for product or waxing and now this money is just sitting at this company not being used. I understand policies are implemented for a reason but when I have no control over my aesthetician get fired and not wanting to go to some random person to wax my lady bits the company should respect that and refund the money and not try to keep the money a make me use them or their products.

Bethany took the time to actually look at my face before she got to work- so many professionals don't do that! At no point did I feel like she was rushing and conversation was easy. I am pleased with my brow shaping - which included brow fill in and concealed. I am *very* pleased she reminded me she has a Yelp check-in special. Usually I leave the salon with beet-red eyebrows (sensitive, white skin) feeling like I was just one in a long line of customers. Bethany made my brows look the best they've been in years (probably since my wedding) and her careful fill-in and concealer gave me confidence I never have after a wax. I'll be back!

They look perfectly thick and angled every time, and then she is always such a joy to talk to during everything (and has such a great memory too). Bethany's space is inside the Phenix Salon Suites, and though she's near the back she's easy to find. (If you haven't been to one, each "studio/office" is it's own private business, with many different salon type services offered throughout the building). Bethany's space is very inviting, and if her door is shut due to her being with someone, there is a nice bench nearby for waiting. I never have to wait too long if I have to wait at all! Her space is well decorated and she is always prepared and ready. I see Bethany about once a month (every 4-5 weeks) and always, ALWAYS leave happy. I highly recommend Bethany for your eyebrow needs - I have also included a photo of my brows the day after having them waxed (I was happy despite my solemn expression).

This coupon was sent to me by text, and then the tech accused me of trying to abuse their system by using the coupon....? We made the appointment for 3pm on a Sunday, and were told that it was completely doable and that we could be done before they closed at 5. We all showed up on time, and it seemed as though the nail salon had many other people make appointments at the same time as us, so after waiting an entire hour past the time, 3 of us were started-- one person with gel and the two with dip. 40 minutes before they closed, 1.25 hours into sitting around, and hadn't even begun on my acrylic refill, and we were notified only ONE staff could do design since everyone else was booked out. Incredibly disappointing, and clearly not coordinated. Nobody spoke to us, ignored us and grabbed others that came in after us and after our appointment slot and took care of them first. Had someone come to call only one of us back at 4:30, which would not have left enough time to get either of us done. Seems as though they have 2 good people who were booked out by others, but did not consider the large group that we'd called about a week ago. Vibes: The space was cute and professional-looking, which did not match the business practice whatsoever. I love supporting small businesses and I'm happy to see success, but the customer experience is overlooked. We were treated as if we were walk-ins without an appointment. Two of us are leaving without our nails done due to the timing. The others did get nails done and they look pretty good, and the green ones were a little patchy but the design was good. At my last appointment on 7/5, I scheduled an appointment on Tuesday, 8/2 which is the day before my surgery. However, my work schedule came out and I needed to reshedule as my work hours conflict with my appointment. Krysta told me if I needed to reschedule that would not be a problem. Well it is a problem for some reason to reschedule. Either she is off that day or can't fit me in anywhere else. How hard can it be to fit in a 5 minute appointment. Krysta spends about 5 minutes or less with me to work on my chin. I would say maybe 10 minutes with the time spent to pay for the session and reschedule. But Krysta can't find a few minutes to work me in. That is poor customer service and does not make anyone want to return to your clinic.
