Bethany took the time to actually look at my face before she got to work- so many professionals don't do that! At no point did I feel like she was rushing and conversation was easy. I am pleased with my brow shaping - which included brow fill in and concealed. I am *very* pleased she reminded me she has a Yelp check-in special. Usually I leave the salon with beet-red eyebrows (sensitive, white skin) feeling like I was just one in a long line of customers. Bethany's space is inside the Phenix Salon Suites, and though she's near the back she's easy to find. (If you haven't been to one, each "studio/office" is it's own private business, with many different salon type services offered throughout the building). Bethany's space is very inviting, and if her door is shut due to her being with someone, there is a nice bench nearby for waiting. I never have to wait too long if I have to wait at all! Her space is well decorated and she is always prepared and ready. I see Bethany about once a month (every 4-5 weeks) and always, ALWAYS leave happy. In December 2023 I purchased packages because I was going so often to get waxed it sounded like a great deal pay for your waxes ahead of time and just get waxed for the next 12 months with having to pay every time. It was great until my aesthetician was let go in the month of June 2024 and she opened her own shop so of course I followed. I called EWC to request a refund and was unaware of the 30-day package purchase policy and now I can't get refunded for the remaining packages it can only be used as store credit now. I am no longer going back to EWC for product or waxing and now this money is just sitting at this company not being used. I understand policies are implemented for a reason but when I have no control over my aesthetician get fired and not wanting to go to some random person to wax my lady bits the company should respect that and refund the money and not try to keep the money a make me use them or their products.

I was told there is a free slot for the next hour, see you soon. I arrive, am taken directly back, within five minutes I'm out. The wildest part is my underarms were NOT grown out significantly, often esthetician's give up, rip off my skin, or charge me for four hairs on a strip of fabric all while double dipping and not wearing gloves. Jill, I believe it was, plucked a few and I wholly expected to see endless stragglers as I had multiple different hair lengths coming in at once. It was my husbands birthday and I was going away so needed to find another place to go. I was able to get a last minute appointment in at the screamin peach. Making the appointment was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Arrived at the location. It is difficult to find a parking spot right on college where they are, and if you are lucky enough to find a spot its pretty hard to back out onto college. Traffic doesn't want to let you out. I would high recommend parking on laurel instead. Once you arrive you have to call to let them know you are there. You will need to wear your mask inside and then use their hand sanitizer or bring your own in to use once inside. The person who worked on me was great. She did a good job and i was very happy with my full leg wax. However, Kristi at Waxing moon is still my favorite and i will be going back to her for my next visit.
