THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Ever since urban putt was bought out, I was worried that there wouldn't be any fun mini golfing places. This place has food, drinks, and even a coat room, to give you the ultimate swinging range. This place is interactive and the balls are linked to your name. Everyone putts one at a time and the computer keeps track of your score for you. There are holes that are trivia, connect 4, even pinball! The thing is you will automatically be populated on emerald. WHEN YOU GET YOUR BALL, YOU CAN GO TO WHATEVER PATH/COLOR YOU WANT. they didn't tell us that so a lot of people were piled into the emerald. They didn't tell us the choice until AFTER we were finished. Another down side is that it's $14 per person per path, so it can be pricy. And it's only 9 holes. If your looking for a fun place for date night or even family night this is the place! My partner and I had an amazing time here! This place is always busy so I recommend making prior reservations. You also have the option to reserve a spot on the same day but there can be a wait. Fortunately we only waited for about half an hour before it was our turn to play. We did sit at the bar while we wait and had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch shot and that was yummy! This place tries to make things efficient as possible. They send you a text so you and your party can register prior to your game. When it is close to your reservation time you will get a text to notify you. There is a big screen by the front entrance that will show you the time of the reservation, your name, and a color to let you know where to go to check in since there are multiple courses. Once you get there you will be given everything you need to play! I highly recommend trying it once because you'll soon realize that you can't wait to come back and play again! This was my first time to Denver and we happen to stumble across Puttshack. From fun to affordable I genuinely had an amazing time here. The drinks were tasty and the food wasn't too bad. I loved that they had a lounge hangout area with board games. Also we came in with a large party and we're still able to make a reservation within a timely manner. The bathrooms are gender neutral and clean which I loved. And the courses are so unique. I wish more mini golf locations were like this one. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because when we went to the bar to order drinks the servers ignored us until 10-15 minutes in. I was a little put off by not being acknowledged at all. I am fine with waiting but once we were finally acknowledged we were almost ignored again because the server wasn't sure who came in first when another party approached. The server on the course was on it at all times, so I overall think the bar bartender may have just been overwhelmed. Everyone besides that was friendly and fun. We came here for an afternoon date day on a Thursday and it was PACKED! Even @ 2pm on a weekday, so be prepared for that. Definitely make a reservation online ahead of time. They have 4 different putt putt courses, one in each corner of the place. We happened to be on the "Amber" colored course and had a blast. They have food & drinks as well if you want to eat as well. My boyfriend was very frustrated at the sign in process though. We had to use a tablet to sign up and it asked for a lot of information like our emails and phone numbers. Outstanding! Great for adults too complicated for kids! They have truly elevated the putt putt experience! It's a bit overwhelming and complicated at first but when you get past that it's the best time! We we're visiting Denver and had never seen a Puttshack so didn't realize you can also make reservations online. We walked in at 1:00pm on a Thursday but it looked extremely busy for nights and weekends and would highly recommend making reservations in advance for peak times. We didn't eat but the drinks were good and I especially appreciated they offer nonalcoholic options. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at Puttshack to help others avoid a similar situation. I had planned a celebration for a group of 18 and was told they could only accommodate parties of up to 13 without requiring a party space booking (~$50/person), so I made two separate reservations: one for 10 people and another for 8. Despite arriving on time at 6 PM, we were told another party was occupying our reserved table. Shockingly, the host suggested that we go and ask the other group to move -- something that should never fall on the guest. When my friend expressed how uncomfortable that was, the host replied, "Yeah, I know, I don't like doing those things either." We weren't seated until nearly 6:40 PM. The staff throughout the evening were unprofessional and dismissive. We had a 7:10 mini-golf reservation for half our group, but were told by the waitress that our entire party needed to vacate the table at that time -- even though we had just sat down less than 30 minutes prior due to their delay. We had also prepaid for two rounds of mini-golf but ended up only completing one, choosing not to stay for drinks or give Puttshack any more of our business. When I spoke to the manager, Henry, his only response was that we should have booked a party package -- even though I'd confirmed with another staff member, Ricky, earlier in the week that our reservation setup was fine. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If you're planning a group event, I'd strongly recommend considering alternatives like Holey Moley, where your reservation -- and your time -- will be treated with more care and professionalism read more

The people that work there are great. The drinks are just ok so probably stick to beer. The gender neutral bathrooms are incredibly gross. Extremely dirty with pee all over the floor and toilet seats, toilet paper and paper towels everywhere. I would not be back because of the bathrooms. read more

But still very clever ind design on the course we got. Fun point scoring system and we're happy to stay and order food and drinks there! I love indoor mini golf! This one had a very modern feel (unlike Urban Putt which was more nostalgic and whimsical) due to the bright lights and large bar. Also they record your score on a screen, kind of like in bowling! Had lots of fun! The food was good too, but honestly expensive for what it was. So much fun. We took a group of 7 there for putt putt, dinner and drinks, and ended up doing another round after dinner. We did Amber and Emerald, and while we enjoyed both, we thought Emerald was a blast! The putt putt was so much fun, and the hole designs were SO cool. The drinks were amazing. I personally had the mocktails, and they did a great job on them. The food was spectacular. Half of my table got burgers (the OG) and said it was delicious. I got the pork porchette which was great. We did not try the dessert as we wanted to get back to putt putt. Customer service is top notch. All of the wait staff, host and hostess, and golf staff were awesome. I received a promotional code for a complimentary game and so I decided to organize a trip with some friends visiting. After making the reservation online and applying the code, I needed to adjust the reservation to add an additional friend who wanted to join last minute. However, when I went back to adjust, the system removed the promo code without my awareness, and I completed the order. Upon realization, I thought I'll just request a refund for the one game from the manager when I get there. However, the manager informed me that they were unable to process a refund. He said he could offer a free second game for me, which would result in additional revenue of $56 from my four friends who would need to play the extra game, as I obviously wouldn't play alone. The situation just rubbed me the wrong way. Refunding my $14 would have been an easy gesture to solidify my loyalty as a customer. It was a missed opportunity IMO. read more

The concept is inventive and highly invasive- they somehow gamefied an already existing game- mini golf. Instead of a stroke score you get points based on how you hit and if you get bonus areas or shots that don't make much sense. Because the ball is tracked electronically you can't rehit, you have to wait until your name is shown on the next screen for a hole. They require way too much information like your full name, which is attached to your ball. Because the ball counts your strokes, each person plays the whole hole one by one. There's so much that can go wrong with this gimmicky tech (remember Disney quest?!) many people's balls including ours eventually did not register on the hole and kept giving an error message. For the concept- it's simply way too crowded. People come in parties of 4-6 people and you have to stand awkwardly waiting for them to finish at every hole. It creates a serious bottleneck which may be on purpose to encourage you to order more very overpriced drinks. It is 60% standing around waiting to play and each hole is very simple and not as fun as their design implies. Diminishing returns for fun after you've done it once. I'm always surprised people will eat food at places like this. read more

For all the denver locals putts back is a great date night! Lots of great options for food and drinks. Their happy hour is Monday - Thursday from 3-6pm. I would recommend booking ahead of time to make for a faster check in process. There are screens every where that show your name, time, and which course you will be playing on! It's worth it to play more than one, but they have 3 total to choose from. They also hold events, the space is huge! There is a private room they can reserve which also has its own course too! Logan the general manager made a point to come say hello and chatted with us for some time! Definitely made this local spot feel like a regular place to hang out at! The games are interactive for example it might ask you a question and you have to hit the ball where you think the correct answer is. You can also loose points, which I 100% did! Interesting combo of mini golf and technology! Each person is assigned a ball which keeps score for you and connects with the course you are in via Bluetooth. We played on the Sapphire course and the various themes at each hole and opportunities for bonus points were cool. Heads up if you go--there is only street parking available and it's in an area that's hopping with businesses. Give yourself extra time to park if you have a reservation. Things that brought the rating down--price, volume, and service. At $14/person, the price is a bit steep for just 9 holes. I understand that the technology likely requires increased prices to be able to make profit, but for me personally that price wasn't worth the 15min it took to complete the course. The music was way too loud. The place also doubles as a restaurant/bar so it's expectedly loud, but the music volume was unnecessarily high. I could barely hear instructions from the attendant when we got to the course, and our group stayed silent the entire time because we couldn't talk over the music Lastly, service. The greeter when we first came in was friendly and helped us navigate the place. The attendant who introduced us to the course was kind of a jerk to be honest. He was pretty attitudey when instructing us all to gather around for instructions. When it came time to assign our balls and my name came up on the screen, he visibly was taken aback, tried to say my name, then when I said my name back to him, he with a judging tone said "oh...OKAY." It was just weird. You can see my name is obviously not an English name, so I am used to having it said incorrectly, but c'mon--2023, in the year of our lord, such a visceral reaction to someone's name is not warranted lol. Diversity and inclusion training may need to be explored. Overall, I would recommend this place to someone looking to drink and hit a few balls while getting tipsy. Such creative courses, the score keeping was so fun & high-tech with how it would keep track of not just your puts but also which target or hole your ball went into would alter your total score. Great atmosphere, delicious food which was way better than expected, being at an indoor golf place & whatnot, great draft beer & full bar. All the staff were wonderful and friendly, gave helpful answers with all our questions as new customers & inexperienced golfers. Wonderful place to visit, my birthday friend and I left very pleased & happy!! We had such a great experience, the only down side: The prices. To play and eat & drink isn't cheap, which is expected, given the quality, uniqueness and it being an upscale indoor mini golf venue (think Dave & Buster's but with mini golf and run MUCH better with WAY better food). It's nice that if you buy 1 9-hole round on their website, they'll give 50% off if you buy a 2nd round, which I did, but once my friend and I tied, OF COURSE we had to buy another round to see who the champion would be BUT there's no additional discounts buying another round or by going online using existing booking. NOTE TO OWNER: If customers decide to stay and play more, please offer them another discount to buy more rounds. To be honest, if we had the time and/or $ that day, we had SO MUCH fun, we would've most definitely bought 5 rounds to play all the courses & see who won.
