These prescriptions were sent to this pharmacy on 7/17/26 at 9:30 am. The pharmacy took it upon themselves to lie & tell me that the dr never emailed them in. The DR had sent them in 3 x & the pharmacy continued to still lie that the pain medication was not sent over. Four hours later I dragged myself back to the pharmacy ( being in sever pain & barely able to walk) & I accused them of lying to me & as well as to the Drs. office & suggested that I might have to get my atty involved since they were trying to override my Orthopedic Surgeon prescribed medications. Suddenly the pain medication ordered by my Surgeon mysteriously just arrived (how convenient & complete BS). Again my orthopedic surgeon sent it over 3 x from 9:30 am on!!! I am seriously considering having my atty get involved for their blatant attempt to not deliver exactly the meds that my Orthopedic Surgeon prescribed. Having to deal for 4 additional hours w/ the severe pain, potentially causing more damage to my back /spine by forcing me to walk around when I was supposed to be in bed prone in order to come back to the pharmacy was an deliberate & outrageous act of malpractice on CVS part by these particular pharmacists on this day / time. At least they owe me a full apology!!

The pharmacist called me to get my information and said it would be ready soon. I was at a dinner event I could not leave so I told her I would pick it up in the morning. When I went in, a rather unfriendly pharmacy tech said it was not ready. She put the prescription together and with tax it was over $300, for steroids.....Nothing exotic. In doing research for the refill I found that Chewy Mail Order Pharmacy has excellent prices, and I always get good service and great customer service from them. The EXACT SAME MEDICINE was about $8.00 from Chewy. I called Walgreens, no mistake on their "cash price" for the medicine. No refund, no recourse. Reportedly Costco has good pet med prices as well. What predatory pricing from Walgreens. You can bet I will never set foot in one again.

I am thankful to Phan Nguyen as he expediently handled the manufacturers coupon and my prescription was ready in minutes and when I went to pick it up. I had given Redondo Beach CVS pharmacist that bin, loyalty and group numbers once over the phone and a second time in person and when I went to pick up My prescription at CVS Redondo Beach the girl at the counter ever so rudely directed to the pharmacist to which I declined and transferred my prescriptions to Torrance CVS on PCH and was ever so pleased and I have my prescription. I needed help this morning for a prescription for my wife that I was told was backordered by both Walgreens and CVS. This pharmacy is so helpful for just about anything you need, including pets. And, you actually get to talk to a live person. Not only are they quick to fill prescriptions, if they don't have it they will go out of their way to get you what you need or offer alternative recommendations, and they did just that today. They will also deliver if needed. Who does that anymore except for those that truly value their customers. Unfortunately, I have to take a lot of medications now. I don't know why I didn't do this before, but after the help I received today I am transferring all my prescription needs (and my wife's) to this pharmacy. My wife already has a compound delivered like clockwork every month, so we will transfer the rest of her prescriptions. You really need to check this place out. Amazing!!!

The regular pharmacy could not help me after that. I was recommended to go to Golden Cove Pharmacy and George was amazing and so kind and really listened to me. He then gave me a few sample alternatives to try and thankfully one of them worked perfect and I was able to order a new supply without any side effects. Everyone in the pharmacy is wonderful as well and they make you feel like you are their only customer! I feel very lucky that I was able to go to them!
