I directed my employer to use this flower shop for a celebration of life arrangement at the recommendation of some people that work at the church where service was to be held on 5/23/25. HR ordered the premium sized Treasured & Beloved Bouquet. What was delivered looked nothing like what was online nor did it look like a premium sized arrangement. Huge lilies which weren't listed as flowers in the arrangement were used, lack of hydrangea, roses & greenery. When Walteria was called they said it was made to specifications which when order was placed, there were NO special instructions nor request made. Order was placed for arrangement as is online. Walteria sent driver back to pick up so they could fix. I was told driver was very rude to the women at the church front office when he returned to pick up the flowers. This is what led me to write this review. I wish we would have had a better experience with this shop and that the flowers would have been done correctly the first time. First of all, Jay is amazing. She went above and beyond the other day for myself and for my family, and most of all my grandmother! Walteria Flower Shop was the first number I dialed and Jay answer on the first ring without any hesitation even though she was closed for the day.She was willing to sit in the parking lot in front of her shop until I drove from Norwalk that took at the least 45 minutes, I was in a complete frenzy I called her phone at least four times worried she would leave instead she answered every call patiently waiting for me! My grandmother who was at Little Company of Mary in Torrance grew up in Hawaii the meaning and importance to be able to have the floral scent and beauty of the lei's that Jay provided was beyond priceless! When she told me she has had her flower shop for 51 years I asked her if she knew my grandmother or grandfather who passed away 19 years ago she knew both tell me that they lit up the room when they entered her shop My encounter with Jay and the beautiful flower leis she provided dry the tears from my family's face and brought smiles instead I highly highly recommend her services to anyone that's in need of floral arrangements. This is the best flower shop in the South Bay! Jae and her team are masters at their art and they create the most beautiful arrangements. I recently ordered three arrangements for my daughter's 100 day celebration. I sent Jae photos of the types of arrangements I liked and she creates the most magical bouquets! I was blown away. This is the best florist in the area. For the past 10 years they have produced a dozen roses every Valentines Day so I can make my wife feel special! This past week Walteria did floral design on our Chuppah and other areas (like chairs, heaters, etc) for a Jewish wedding. You can tell she really goes above and beyond for her clients. Once again, this flower shop came thru. Ordered more funeral flowers. They were beautiful and fresh for the funeral. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how this happened but the vase had no water in it. My cousin and my sister confirmed this. We never would have known but the vase was bone dry when they went to pick up the flowers on Sunday. I called the church to see if they emptied the vase before placing it at the alter for the mass. They did not. Somehow, no one seems to know how, the vase became empty and the flowers were wilted the next day. I spoke with the manager, who is a very nice person, and she offered several options to replace the flowers. Eventually, she offered a refund. The fair thing to do, which I suggested, since the flowers were beautiful and they did a beautiful arrangement, was to ask for a refund of half. Since I paid over $100 for this arrangement and, apparently, there was a little argument about who was going to take the beautiful vase home. I will definitely order flowers from them again. They do beautiful work and they are very nice people. read more

This has been my "go to" shop for flowers for many years. The owners and staff are lovely, hard working folks who go way beyond the extra mile to give amazing service. That's almost non existent these days. This year, I handed them a big bag of coal on December 23: 10 flower orders to get out before Christmas!!! Several to pretty rural places across the country - from ME to NC to AZ. They worked hours on this and were, somehow, able to get all the orders placed with local floral shops for delivery by Christmas. They magically turned that bag of coal into floral bundles of Christmas joy for my family and friends far and near. (Keep in mind, they only make a little profit on these remote orders.) And, their own arrangements are truly breathtaking! Every detail, every bloom, is exquisite! They also have a wonderful collection of decorative gifts - great for hostess gifts, birthdays or other special occasions. I would really encourage anyone in the RB, PV, Torrance, Lomita area to visit this shop! You will be so happy you did! read more

Overpriced flower arrangements and delivery. I understand that flower shops need to make a profit. However, I feel gouged with my order. I called to have flowers delivered for an anniversary. The shop asked how much I wanted to spend and I said what are the prices and what do you recommended? They said $65 to $100 for arrangement. I told them that I saw the arrangements their web site and agreed to a $75 bouquet. Asked for chocolates also which was $15. They changed $15 to deliver less than 1 mile away and then obligatory taxes $118 total. The arrangement is nice but nothing spectacular. It is NOTHING like the photo bouquets on their web site. Relatively small at 10 inches by 14 inches by 12 inches. NOT A VERY GOOD VALUE. Also not a special arrangement = flowers were all common garden flowers that I literally have in my back yard with a few colored roses in between. The Chocolates are the $6 box anyone can get at the local drug store. Highly suggest that you should avoid this flower shop unless you want to feel ripped off. See photo attached. read more

I called them last minute to see if there were any graduation leis available. I was told there were ones ready to buy, and I was excited since other shops require orders way in advance. Once I got there, there was a great selection! However, I let the person (owner?) know the lei was for a preschool graduate, and she agreed the ones she had would be too big. I truly appreciated her honesty. As I was contemplating my options, she then offered to custom make me a smaller lei in the next hour, for pick up at closing, and I was thrilled! Once I returned with my kids, I whispered to her that my preschooler had no idea that the lei was for her, so she offered to placed it in an inconspicuous bag, and bring it to my vehicle to continue keeping it a secret. There's nothing like this type of service, and it's all 1000000% appreciated! I will be looking to place future orders with this shop that goes the extra mile. read more

My parents forgot to pick up my flower crown I needed for graduation, and when I asked them about it, the store had already closed. My graduation was the next day early in the morning, so I wouldn't have been able to pick the crown up before the ceremony. We called the store, and they let me come pick up my order after closing, and my graduation was saved. Not to mention, the quality of my crown is amazing and it is beautiful. Just discovered this place. What I like most is the EXTENDED HOURS. They are open until 7:00 p.m. during the week, which is important to me since I work downtown. Decent parking out front. Selection on a Tuesday was a little thin. No gerbera dasies. HUGE selection of roses, many in soft whites with subtle tints. I settled on some blue hydrangias. $16 for three wrapped with tax. The facility is impressive- four separate benches, so it seems like they have the ability to crank out large orders. Service was super sweet and efficient. Nice creativity with the greens and wrap. The only downside is that they are a little pricey, but not prohibited. Definitely on the list for a return trip! read more

Stopped in a week before Christmas to place an order for an Iris arrangement for JANUARY. Discussed details with the owner and placed my order. She said arrangement would be ready the night before and I could pick up anytime the day I needed them. Fast forward to the day I need them (2 weeks later). Called in the morning to confirm they were ready only to be told that the specific flower I needed in the arrangement wasn't available. Girl I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful.
