Mastertech charged the same to provide parts and do the whole job as it would have cost me to purchase and install them myself and have it aligned. Since then I have been back to them for tires, other suspension work, and a timing belt I lacked the time to tackle myself. I used to call around to compare pricing, but as they came in significantly less expensive than their competitors every time, I no longer bother. They're also very good about informimg you of any other issues to keep an eye on - not to upsell you or try to convince you to have unnecessary work done, but to be aware of any forseeable future issues. At around 3:30 I walked into the shop only to be told, "I was just about to call you. Our parts people brought the wrong part. We'll have it ready first thing in the morning (that would have been Wednesday MORNING). I took the bus to where I could bum a ride from a friend that evening. Wednesday morning came and went. Around 2PM I called and Brian said they were waiting on a pig tail (wiring part). I told him that I'd get going and catch the bus to the shop. "Oh, no. If we don't get the part then we'll have to keep your car another day." Brian said. Me: What am I supposed to do? It'll take me 1-1/2 to 2 hours to get there on the bus. Brian: Well we'll come pick you up." Me: But I live in Canton over by Taggarts. Brian: That's OK. I'll call you when it's done. My phone record says I called Brian back at 3:19. Me: Is my Venza done? Brian: Yeah, you can come pick it up. Me: But you said you'd come get me. Brian: We don't have a driver. Me: Well can you wait for me to get there- it'll take about 2 hours. Brian: We close at 5:00. (Website says 4:30). I hung up knowing I'd have to pay for a Uber- which I did. It cost $18 for the Uber. When I got to the shop Brian says: I apologize for being short with you on the phone. I'd just hung up from a really difficult customer. [And that's MY problem WHY?] I'm giving you an oil change next time you come in. [Like I'd go back to a LIAR that said he'd pick me up??] I asked what the "damages were" and paid $504. I got home and looked at the wiring and didn't see ANY new wiring. [I'd attach a photo if I could of the OLD wire.] TWO DAYS to do 3 hours of work? And one wrong part and an elusive "pigtail"? Really?? AVOID THIS LIAR AT ALL COSTS.
