It was everything I like in a spin class - dark room, loud music, bike dancing. There were clearly a lot of regulars in the room...if you're nervous about "keeping up," maybe don't opt for the front row. The weights session was a nice mix of exercises with 5-10 lb weights. Also, they have SPD shoes to borrow. Apparently no one else uses the little lockers in the lobby. Overall a great class - would definitely come back!

It was here that I had learned that the mat I was using wasn't suitable for yoga (it was too thick and had no grip on it). This is probably one of the better looking yoga studios that I've been to. It's a super cute studio. I love the decor and ambiance here. It has a nice cozy feel to it. I'd never done Pilates until this week and I think I may be hooked. So far I've taken two classes with Sally and she is awesome. She explains everything very clearly and makes sure everyone has correct form so you don't have to worry about pulling something out of wack. Sally's on it. She won't let that happen. Along with being a well informed and effective instructor Sally is incredibly welcoming and warm. As for Pilates itself, I may have finally found the exercise that I look forward to! Is that possible?? Apparently it is. In the wise words of Kim Kardashian, "It's like an easy workout, but you feel it, so it's not annoying, you know?" I do know, Kim. I certainly feel it.

Sallie takes the time to show you the correct positions in order to avoid injury and target the right muscles. She is willing to stop and answer questions and demonstrates the positions clearly. There seems to be a mix of younger and older participants. The classes are small so you are able to get individual attention. The studio itself is very clean and the decor is classy. I would definitely recommend this studio as a place to try pilates for the first time or continue to take classes!

Thanks to the Mind Body app, I was able to find this studio AND a $20 pass for 2 weeks of classes!…read moreIt just so happened I am working on getting myself back into the routine of working out 5 days a week so I signed up for 2 classes during the 1st week and 4 classes for the 2nd week. at about $4 per class, it's a win win situation! My first class was a Ugi ball strength circuit class. When this place says it has small classes for individual attention - they weren't kidding. There is a great mixture of 50+ students, 20s and 30s (myself) which made the studio not intimidating. Yay! I believe 8 people max per class - and yes plenty of personal attention if you need help. I have also done their barre class. TRX is next to add to the list :) With their variety of classes and the pace - I think I may have found the perfect studio for me. They also have a reformer machine which I know i havent reached that level but it is my end goal.
