I remember buying a set of kids golf clubs as well. I have seemed to have forgotten it, and left it on the counter. The sales associate was nice enough to literally run after us all the way down the parking lot and gave us our item. We definitely come here on a regular to check out golf stuff. I know they also do re-gripping for your golf club grips, but it's best to call ahead.

Have to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I asked about using the hitting bays to demo clubs, and a nice young lady got me set up and even said she would build clubs with shafts to my specs to try! Wasn't expecting that level of service. Unfortunately, she had to excuse herself and another gentleman took over who wasn't as accommodating in offering to build to my specs. Got to demo three of the hottest new drivers and 3 woods with no sales pressure in their state of the art golf simulators. Although, I didn't buy, I was impressed with the service and selection. Then I began walking around the store and saw they have a Trackman practice area that people can sign up for as regulars and a good amount of clothing and accessories with many popular retail brands (Nike, Adidas, etc) and lesser known but quality looking apparel on sale for reasonable ($50 and under, not $100-150 on sale) prices. As a regular shopper at the Golf Mart Superstore in South City/San Bruno, I would day this store is nicer but doesn't have as many used clubs, esp. from top brands like Taylormade, Callaway, Ping, etc., to choose from. As an avid golfer interested in improving my game, I will be back soon to try out more of the latest equipment or perhaps take advantage of their practice program or free fitting service, too!!

Each time I've brought it in, the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. They've sent my driver head directly to PING under warranty at no additional cost, and the turnaround time has always been surprisingly fast. I really appreciate how quickly they handle warranty claims and get clubs shipped to the manufacturer. If you're looking to buy new clubs, I'd definitely recommend purchasing them here. Not only do they help you find the right equipment, but if something covered under warranty goes wrong, they'll take care of the warranty process for you at no extra charge. That kind of customer service is hard to beat.

If you're looking for head-weights, for any club by any manufacturer, don't expect them to carry or be able to order. I was told to check with the repair shop as they may have them. I was told, "sure we have them, but they are for the shop kit and we don't provide them to customers." But, if you're looking for that Gopher Head Cover you didn't know you needed, they are the perfect store.

We found that I was spinning the ball too much so my drives topped out at 250 so he fitted me into an extra stiff Ventura black after he was able to get me confident swinging hard at the ball and first swing jumped to 301 total carry. The shaft makes a world of difference but it take a good fitter to match the right shaft for your own game. Highly recommend going to Josh and the rest of the team if you want to get the most out of your game.

After struggling all summer with a set of T-150s that I received in February, I went to Club…read moreChampion to get fit for a new set of irons. Based on some positive reviews I'd seen here, I selected Josh as my fitter. I had a couple of more forgiving options in mind, such as the new Ping i530s and was fully prepared to order whatever worked best during the fitting. After a warm up and hitting some balls, however, Josh quickly identified that my issue wasn't with the 150s, but with the shafts I was using. Getting my hands on the right setup was like finding a shoe that fit perfectly. Everything clicked into place and the results were both significant, and immediate. I waited a few weeks to post this review, making sure that I had a handful of rounds under my belt first. All I can say is that I've never hit my irons so pure. I wasn't even aware the T-150s could sound this good! The ball flight is also exactly where I want it be. I've gone from being underwhelmed and lacking confidence in the 150s to loving them pretty much overnight. In short, Josh is great and this example goes to show just how important a good fitter is. Even though I communicated that I was more than happy to walk out with a brand new set of irons, there was no hard sell to purchase anything. Quite the contrary in fact. For reference I'm a mid-handicap that went from 95g graphite to 120g steel shafts, who carries a 6-iron 165 yards. I'll 100% be going back to Josh for my next fitting - woods and driver!
