It is rare in life to experience this level of service and expertise. Baylor came out to my car to get my clubs while I was putting on my shoes. That doesn't even happen at the high end public golf courses. Let alone by a manager! Once inside James asked me to go through my bag. Being a weekend workshop tinkerer on my clubs for over 30 years, James listened to my stories and gained perspective on my game all while I was warming up. He then brought me over an iron to begin comparison. After hitting multiple heads and shafts he called me over to show me the numbers. I'm a feel guy, but my wife the engineer was impressed with the data. He then blew me away by telling me my tendencies on the course. He was dead on. Pointed to the numbers that told him and then started making changes. All the while checking in on my "feel" parameters. I liked the look of one clubhead but the feel of the other shaft. When James found out I played often at his college course we shared some course strategies, all along he was gathering info for the fairway woods and then on to the driver. The trackman technology is amazing, but like any good tool, you need a skilled technician to make it work and James made it sing. When my drives were inexplicably fading, he switched screens to show another aspect I had never considered. A few adjustments and we had maximized results. He didn't push for a sale, just provided information. He asked about my putter and I hesitated, as it works well for me. James didn't even go there. The iron shafts we choose were the same ones in a prior set, just with WAY better heads. He also adjusted weight to correct ball flight. James insight into my wedges after knowing my swing and looking at current set up was again RIGHT ON! It's like we had played several rounds together and he knew my tendencies. We set down, he asked me what was on my mind. I said to do his best. My wife, the engineer was impressed with the technology, I was impressed with the level of service and overall experience. Everything but the putter is on the way. The Director of Product Design predicted it should cut my handicap by 4 strokes. I can't wait!!! read more

Ultimately I was able to receive a full refund thanks to an excellent PXG customer service representative! I want to say thanks to Lake for his help and support! I had an opportunity to be fitted for a set of PXG golf clubs 4-W and a Driver. Since I was traveling at the time the clubs would be delivered. I asked if they could be delivered to my local PXG store for my pick up. I followed the tracking and when they arrived at the local PXG store, I went to pick them up. When I arrived at the store much to my dismay I learned that not only had the staff there Carlo and Belinda had not only torn my box open, but also opened up the interior black box and taken my clubs out. The fact that I was unable to unbox my own PXG Clubs really took away from my experience . Further, the clubs looked dirty like they had been handled. I didn't want them at this point so I contacted the sales person . He informed me that that was the protocol they were supposed to open up, not only the cardboard box they were shipped in, but also they were supposed to open up my black PXG box and they were supposed to take out my clubs and make sure that everything was OK with them. I thought that they had been checked before shipment and that I would have the opportunity to unbox my clubs and check them. So at this point, I asked him if he would initiate a return which he said he would. He further said that he would let the clubs I returned become part of that store's inventory and he would process my return. He did not explain the process. So that was on May 6 2025. So a week later, I called to check on my return the process and no one knew anything. So I called again on 16 May and a Mr. gutierrez of Customer Service told me there was no record of a return and that the reason the return was probably not processed was because they were waiting to receive the clubs and he asked me when did I return them? I Called to speak to Jim Holmgren who sold me the clubs. They told me he was unavailable and that he would give me a call back at this point. I have not heard back from him. I understand marketing and sales, but at this point, I think that not only should the customer service be better but also the products. I plan to return to this review later, but I would like to say that I value Customer Service and I feel that it's important that customers be treated well. The facility is nice, clean, and spacious. Our salesman, Cam, was fantastic he gave the attention and detail needed and was very knowledgeable to pick out a great set of clubs. He gave great tips and my husband overall loved the experience that he had. As a spouse going for "moral support" I was really unimpressed by all the other employees sitting at the front desk sprawled out scrolling on their phones. My expectation of a place I'm going to spend thousands of dollars was to be at least greeted better yet offered a beverage. We had talk about getting me a new set but when everyone seemed uninterested I quickly moved on. I ventured to their mini pro shop and was very disappointed by the weirdly sized clothing. Everything ran huge, quality wasn't great, color stories were limited, and the hats ran extremely small. Super disappointing. My husband left happy with clubs, a fancy bag, cart, and all the accessories. Special shoutout to Cam- this review doesn't reflect him, he gets 5 stars. read more

The technology from PXG is amazing. Distance, control, feel all amazing. After taking lessons at Golftec and improving my game by 5 strokes my new Gen5 clubs led the way to me improving another 5 strokes. After almost 2 years, I just replaced my irons with Gen6. I'm really looking forward to hitting them tomorrow morning. While picking up my new irons I talked with the staff about the challenges with my driver, the staff suggested the latest generation driver so I scheduled bay time the next day. When I arrived this morning, and after having picked up $1,300 of new irons yesterday (plus my full bag purchase 18 months prior at $5,500) I was told I needed to pay to try the new club. While the charge was insignificant, the penny wise pound foolish approach was a little ridiculous. Even the staff seemed a little embarrassed, but they said that it was PXG policy. I've commented before that PXG just doesn't seem to know how to build relationship with clients when every encounter is treated like a transaction. You guys can do way better. Saw a sale on their prior generation 0211 clubs and went in for a fitting. Added 10 yards to my seven iron, higher spin, higher descent angle, better stopping power than my Mizuno MP20s HMBs. Fitted with graphite shafts unexpectedly. Turns out I hit it better off the center of the face, compared to steel. read more

Guess I should have read the reviews before purchasing my clubs. I got fitted for some gen4 0311XP's on Saturday, February 12 at the Scottsdale location. Never been fitted before for irons but I wanted to treat myself for my birthday. Anyway, I was already in town and was quite easy making an appointment to get fitted. Everything went well at the fitting and decided to make the purchase. Decided on getting the black heads also so the total for 7 clubs (5-GW) totaled just a bit over $2k. I received my clubs on Sunday, February 20th. Unwrapped then and put them in my bag. I decided to take them out on Monday to my local par 3 to give them a swing and noticed they felt light, too upright and a bit short. I wanted to give the clubs a chance because I figured the club fitter knew what he was doing. I was on the second hole when I pulled out the 5 iron and noticed the hozel had several cracks. I can run my finger nail over them and feel the cracks. I finished the round with my other clubs and went home. I called customer service when I got home and explained all my concerns, too light, too upright and the cracks. I also asked if the clubs went through QC prior to shipping and he said yes so I don't know how they got past. He assured me that they would take care of it and he was sending me an email to reply with the pictures of the cracks so he can get it to the warranty department to be looked at. I received that email right after we hung up and I sent the pictures right back over to them. That was Monday late afternoon. No reply on Tuesday, no reply Wednesday so I decided to give them a call that night. I briefly explained my situation and he told me that the warranty department is busy but he will follow-up with them and the first rep I spoke with to see what's going on. Once again, I heard nothing back from them. I spoke with a couple friends of mine over the weekend and I asked them what they would do. They all said I should just send them back. So this morning 02/28/22 , I called PXG and told the rep that I would like to return the clubs. He asked for the reason and I explained to him everything and also said all I wanted was a courtesy reply email saying that the received my pictures and are working on taking care of it. But I got no reply and found that very disappointing. The rep was very nice and understood why I wanted to return them and even apologized. We set up the return info and then I told him that I expect a full refund on the purchase. To which he replied that there would be a 15% restocking fee. I told him that I don't think I should be responsible for that. He said he would contact his supervisor and see if he could get that changed. He would call me back once he got an answer. About an hour later he called me back. He told me that he couldn't get the 15% waived. I explained to him again that I received my items defective. I should not be responsible for receiving damaged items. I would understand if I damaged the club and I would take full responsibility if that was the case. He apologized once again and said that if I wanted to get the club replaced they would handle it right away. I told him that after all that happened or the lack of happen that I would just rather return them and buy from another company. I asked if I could speak with his supervisor and he told me that supervisors don't take calls. I explained to him that this was a shitty way to treat their customers and I understood that it wasn't his fault so I was not going to go off on him. We ended the call and I immediately called my credit card company and filed a dispute. I explained to them what had happened and now they will take over the claim. I am so disappointed with the customer service at PXG. All I wanted was a simple reply. I think within 48 hours isn't too much to ask for. I waited an entire week and got nothing. Customer service goes a long way. Especially when spending that much money on a set of irons. I'm sure that the clubs are great but this just left a super bitter taste in my mouth. read more

I just made my first trip to the PXG retail store in SCottsdale, AZ. The staff at the counter were very nice & professional. Kain (Sp?) was very courteous and has outstanding customer service. I returned the next day for my 'fitting' and brought my own clubs to compare the swing and feel of the PXG clubs. The manager, Baylor, actually conducted the fitting, and was very knowledgeable. He 'shaped' my clubs based on my actual swing, and made recommendations based on the computer results. I would recommend any player, average or above/below, to just have the experience for a fitting. We Have been Waiting for our refund!! For clubs that were never shipped to us. Our case # is 85832 and we have been told since Oct 8th 2021, that they were processing it but have not done so to date. I bought a driver from PXG in October. The fit was good, but after three months of use the club head collapsed at the toe. I sent a picture to my rep, Blake Lawler, and he thought it should be replaced. He requested his warranty team to provide the new club head and they rejected the request. They disagreed the head needed to be replaced. They did not offer any a replacement or a discount on a new club, nothing! They obviously do not believe in the products they sell or care how their customers are treated. There are several other golf equipment stores in Phoenix that offer superior fittings and products. All of theses companies would have replaced the head or provided a heavy discount toward a new club. PXG dumps on their customers after the sale, goodbye. Where do I start my experience with PXG has been horrible. I have purchased lots of new clubs since playing golf for over 50 years. All manufacturers have stood by their clubs and have bent over backwards to make things right. Well good luck with PXG. It all started when I got fit for PXG irons. The fitting was fine except you only get to hit PXG so you can not compare them to other brands like most fittings. I went ahead and ordered a set of 0811's. It was odd that my current set of Mizuino's were 105 gram and ai was fitted for 85 gram. When I received the new irons they felt really head heavy. I was hitting them about 10 yards shorter than my Mizuino's. Also yardage was so inconsistent which is unusual for me. I decided to have the lies and lofts checked and sure enough they were all off at least a degree some a degree and a half. I had them resent on my dime because of PXG terrible customer service and I will get to that. I still could not hit the clubs consistent. Checked swing weights they were so head heavy and even those were not consistent throughout the set. Because PXG charge 30% restocking fee I just sold them on my own. I also ordered a 9 degree driver about the same time I ordered my irons. I received an 0811X 10.5 degree driver. Called customer service and was told to ship the incorrect head back and they would ship the correct head to me. They said I had to pay a restocking fee for sending the driver back that they made the mistake on. They did and I shipped the incorrect one back. Then ai was charged for two drivers. Contacted customer service and it took several phone calls and numerous emails finally after 6 weeks the changes were reimbursed. I will never deal with this company again. There marketing is great but the products not so much. read more

Update to my 10-26-22 review: PXG did reach out to me via their fitting team (thanks Thurman and Mike) and arranged for a fitting that telephone support said couldn't be done at a specific location. That fitting confirmed an order I had already placed for a driver. The driver arrived a few days ago and so far so good. I've not tried to adjust loft or weights at this point so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully this driver will hold up as well as my 15 year old Nike. So my issue is resolved, but it could have been a much better experience. There are too many companies that bend over backwards to help customers resolve their issues and make life long brand ambassadors. No reason PXG can't do this also, but if you check out reviews there are way too many unhappy people. I would still encourage PXG to re-visit how their "troops" are trained and more importantly what level of authority they are given. And if they can't be trusted to resolve issues, they should have immediate access to someone with more authority who can make decisions on the spot. Just about every retailer we rely on these days have figured this out...no need to re-invent the wheel. Just study companies that provide first class customer experience and copy the playbook. Or improve on it. C'mon PXG. Be all you can be. read more

Mr Parsons service to the U. S. Is appreciated. His dedication to his brother and sister Marines is to be congratulated. His story and his company's story is a wonderful success story. What is not to be applauded is PXG's horrible customer service. The incidents I've experienced is too long to duplicate here (I've written the story in other forums). Once you buy your clubs you're on your own. They make a big deal about the weight system, but just try to get a particular swing weight for your irons. Even though I was told they would help me, they wanted $50 labor and $60 shipping. This was to correct their error. Then, to top it off, they actually wrote that they couldn't guarantee all my irons would have the correct weights. Mr Parson, dump your service manager. Your company has the worst service policies I've dealt with since Comcast. I'll be glad to provide a rundown of what your customer service policies are doing to your brand. I'm afraid your clubs will crash once the buzz wears off. When it does crash, it will be a drop off the cliff because you are not building customer loyalty. I was so frustrated with PXG I just sold my Gen 4 irons 6-GW and 52 & 56 wedges. I sold them for $1,200 just to get rid of them. Bye bye PXG. I'll buy more if and win I hear the company has changed its policies and begins treating customers like customers instead of derelicts hanging around shagging range balls to save a quarter. read more

On July 16, 2022, I ordered two shirts that were on sale. The website said both items were in stock. However, I still had not received my shirts after 10 days. I called them several times and was told they would track down my order and call back. It took several days and on July 29, 2022, I finally received an email that said they were out of stock on one of the items. The email stated I had two choices, get a refund for the shirt that was out of stock or purchase something else from them and I would be charged for the difference in price. Really, after two weeks this is your offer? If you order something from their website, you may or may not get it. I was initially very excited to visit the PXG headquarters on a weekend golf trip to Scottsdale. I had enjoyed my mobile truck fitting months earlier. However, visiting the headquarters was a terrible experience. The people at the front desk were rude and stand-offish. They asked my friends and me not to touch any of the merchandise. We inquired about the hitting bays, which were all empty, and were told that we could not purchase a fitting, clubs, or time in the hitting bay. I responded to an online special offering for veterans. I liked the club and the price, I paid for it and $30 to have it shipped to my home. Unknowing that their confusing message of having to sign for packages valued over $500. When FedEx wouldn't leave the package I was informed any golf club needed a signature and other stuff over $500 also needed a signature. It was worded very well. After 5 days of phone calls, to bot PXG and FedEx begging for delivery after 4 PM because they deliver up to 8 PM. I have been totally ignored. PXG did offer to have it sent to another location and I could go there and pick it up. But I paid for home delivery. They love to tell you that their founder is a Vietnam veteran that wants to help veterans. Don't fall for it. I have no idea where the club is at. read more

I placed a order for a towel and fitted cap with PXG. The order took a while to finally ship. But it did arrive eventually and I was excited to try on my cap. The wrong size cap was filled by PXG. So the same day I contact them via email to get a resolution to my issue. I like email instead of telephone to have a record of what is said. Customer Service took several days to get back to me. Their reply was they would like a photo of the wrong size cap. So the same day I replied with the photo they requested. Several more days pass by before I get another response from Customer Service. This email states, they would be happy to "exchange" the cap for the correct size cap. But I would first have to return it to PXG in Scottsdale, before they would ship out the cap. So, here again I shipped it out quick fast, and paid for the return shipping for their error. My return shipment arrived there on Thursday and Saturday I sent another email stating they had received the cap and when will my cap finally ship? Got a standard order ship notification email on Monday. So I placed the original order on 8/11. It's now 9/8 and the package isn't expected to arrive until 9/11. Hopefully it will be the correct size and I won't have to provide photographic evidence and pay return shipping out of pocket again. In the end, I'll just say I've never been treated this poorly in any online purchase. Making the customer provide photographic proof, making the customer pay for return shipping on PXG's error, making the customer wait for the return to be processed before shipping a replacement order. I've placed several orders with PXG the last few years, mostly clubs. I don't see myself wanting to go through this again. I'll buy almost new or like new clubs on Ebay from here on in. This is turning in to more like a zero star rating purchase. read more

I've never had better service than I received from PXG in my brief visits. I did my fitting with Blake. I don't know anything about golf but he was really helpful and knowledgeable. He was very friendly and helped me relax when I'm sure he wanted to laugh at how horrible I am . My fitting was on Sunday and my full set of clubs were ready by Wednesday. When I went to pick them up JP helped me out and should be being paid to teach customer service at the highest corporate level. Made me feel like VIP. helped me organize my clubs in the bag because I don't even know that basic bit. Embarrassing I know but it is what it is. Was getting me waters and helping me as I shopped the store. When I was done, he literally carried my bags out to the truck for me. Never had anyone treat me like that. Highly recommend. Now if only the clubs would make contact with the ball. I spent enough money that you figure that work by themselves and make me look as good as they are read more

On December 28 I had a fitting session at PXG Scottsdale. I received the clubs a week later, but was hospitalized with heart issues and only used them once since receiving them. The one time I used the clubs, I discovered that two of the wedges are not right for me - they are performing very poorly. I talked to a gentelman at the front desk and asked if I can exchange them. He told me that it is past 30 days and it is not possible to return them. I explained my health challenges and that I have been hospitalized three times since December 28 but it seems that he didnt really care. I am very dissappointed because one of the reasons I came in is because of their commercials and I thought that they really care about their product and customer satisfaction. I will probably have to go to Ping where I had a good experience seven years ago and they seemed to care. read more
