Pizza

Really good quality pizza joint with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Really accommodating with switching up our choices and advising on different options. Both pizzas were perfect and the desserts were great, especially the grasshopper which is a combo of chocolate fudge, mint chocolate chip ice cream and Oreo cookie base.

The waitresses were very nice and we were welcomed immediately. We chose the small order of bread sticks with cheese and the Clone pizza. The tastes were good but the water on the pizza made for a very soggy crust. The prices were pretty high in my opinion. The pizza is the size of a dinner plate and was $17.50 and a pint glass of domestic beer was $6. I would eat here again, but definitely not going out of my way to go back.

This was very good. We enjoyed the thin crust with all the puffy dough on the outside. Onion rings for one should be available everywhere. Crust was a little more burnt than I thought it would be and we went away a little hungry. Next time, we order two pizzas!

Lasagna

We ordered the lasagna. It was very good! We had Caesar dressing in our salads and it was delicious! Will review again when we go back to try the pizza. The service was great as well. Great spot for a date night or just a night out!

We've been wanting to try this place out since it opened but with kids who aren't the biggest pizza fans, it was difficult to do. We finally decided to try it with kids in tow on a Friday night. We arrived around 6:45pm and there were a few tables open. They did a really good job with the inside! It has a rustic feel with a sliding barn door, exposed brick, and nice wood bar. The place is very open and just comfortable to be in. The bathrooms are newly updated and nice (and there's a changing table too). Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She asked if we'd been there before and when we said no, she explained the size of the pizzas and what her young kids will eat. She took our drink orders and those came back quickly. They do have some good beers on tap. All of the pizzas sounded yummy. I went with the M'Boy. My husband had the Pyra. We ordered the White Margarita for the kids. Made to order pizza can take some time and it did. But, not too long. Our waitress kept us updated on when to expect them. We each liked our pizzas. The kids ate the White Margarita. I really liked the yeasty flavor of the dough and you can tell they use good ingredient in the toppings. Especially how good the cheese was. My husband said he'd have liked his sauce to have had more flavor but otherwise he liked it. Parking is either in the small lot behind or on the street. There is a front and back door. We really did enjoy our time here. The only reason for a 4 and not 5 star rating is we had a $60 bill. That's three pizzas and three alcoholic beverages. Seems pricey for a night of pizza.

This place is a gem. The only thing I wish was different was that it was closer to my house. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. Our salads were fresh and loaded with flavorful toppings. And that pizza....the sauce is bright and fresh tasting the perfect compliment for the chewy, wood fired crust. Please go check this place out it's worth the drive to Norwalk.

This pizza is great! It's in a 100+ year old building. When you walk in you see the brick oven burning brightly, fantastic on a 15 degree night. We got the Pyra. It had Kalamata olives, prosciutto, artichoke hearts, and white sauce. Highly recommended. Eat in instead of carry out, the box makes the crust soggy after a short time, as it does to any pizza. It's on the more expensive side for pizza, but it is worth the cost.

Great neapolitan pizza! Overall great experience! Highly recommend the spicy Italian.

Onion rings

Visited this afternoon (Saturday) around 1:40PM and was able to get in on their lunch specials. Love the ambiance of this place. Our server, Jasmine, was very friendly, attentive throughout the meal, and helpful with suggestions. When I usually ask for extra lemons for my water, I'm usually given one extra - not this time. She gave me the perfect amount of lemons!! We drove 40 miles to try this place out after seeing some reviews on Facebook and it did not disappoint. Everything was great and we will definitely be back!

White margherita and m'boy

Some of the best wood fired pizza in the metro! I had the white margherita and my husband had the m'boy. Both very good. Typical Neapolitan style for both. The crust was perfectly light, crispy, and salted. Will definitely be back!

Stringy onion rings

Overpriced. Two small pizzas, an appetizer and two sodas should not be close to 50.00 with tip.

Thin and crunchy. A delicious pizza to curb your Neapolitan pizza fix! The staff was also super friendly and the facilities were clean and organized.

Really loved this place for beers and pizza after golfing at Legacy. Pizza crust is one of the best I've had. Beer selection was a bit minimal for me, but maybe cuz I just like a lot of options. Go support this place!!! They are also hiring like most everyone else right now. Seems like a cool place to work.

Had for the first time recently and really enjoyed. I got takeout, but plan to go back to dine in. The atmosphere seems great.

High price, small portions, not overly friendly. Very clean quaint atmosphere. Food was fair to good for what you got.

If you like Neapolitan style pizza, this is the place for you. Thin crust with carefully chosen toppings and a nice, puffy edge. Beautiful!

Nice pieces of onion and the seasoning is excellent in the breading. So delicious and a great start. Next the Bordy's Special: Sausage, Pepperoni, Beef, Cappicola, onion and green peppers. No olives or mushrooms. The crust is thin, cracker type, crisp, and just fantastic. Add in the meat and fresh veggies with the sauce and it's a flavor party. So delicious and fabulous. Bordy's is gets compared to other pizza places, but to me it's on its own level. The crust is unique and the best in Des Moines. When I want this crust this is where I go. The best in the entire area in my opinion for this crust. The staff are super nice and the food is always hot & fresh. I will always be a Bordy's customer for this pizza because it is incredible and perfect. Just look at the toppings and all those flavors coming together, wow, just incredible. We arrived and within 10 minutes our drink order was taken. Friendly waitress. Who also ended up being the bartender. 15 minutes after the drink order she returned with no drinks but asking for the food order. We proceeded. Then she turned that order in and went to the bar to make our drinks. We had been there 30 minutes by now. Yes we had water. The tap was mainly foam. She slowly dumped the beer into a cup til it was nearly full. It was very flat. My margaritas also was a sweet strawberry flavor but the rim was chunky salted and it had alot of salt in the drink. The main issue is the time to get our drinks and then food. And the drinks were not good. Food great. (updated to fix spelling and grammar)
