Heated tables where you lay under a blanket with face masks on (it is really bright in the room so definitely recommend the mask ). My favorite sound was the ocean drum and zephyr chime . Whenever I'm in Rutland, I always go crystal shopping here. There isn't a store like this near me, so coming here is a treat. I love looking at the beautiful gemstones, crystals, books, candles, and other bits and bobs. They have such a great selection of things related in wellness and spirituality. This is also a wellness center. They offer yoga classes, body work, massages, facials, and even light therapy. They also have a salt cave! I totally want to try that out next time. This is a great place for individuals who need activities to do while their friends are in the mountains, or if you need some TLC after the mountains. OMG I tried the amethyst biomat. What am amazing experience. I've been dealing with knee pain since 2015, I left that room with no knee pain. actually I can now see my knee cap, which I haven't seen since 2015. This place was amazing when they first opened. The original owner was wonderful and very caring. The new owner is aloof and not personable. It really makes me uncomfortable with her promoting health and wellness as she owns several Mc Donalds. Holistic Wellness??? Its difficult to buy into what they teach about health and wellness as they sell literally tons of fast food. Hmmm its a conundrum. Seriously miss the original Pyramid. read more

I can't believe no one's reviewed this place. Pyramid Holistic Wellness Center has one of Rutland's coolest attractions: a Himalayan Salt Cave. I was feeling a bit under the weather and headed here a couple of weeks ago to sit for an hour in their cave in an attempt to destress and get out of the house. The claim is that by sitting in their cave, which is entirely made out of Himalayan salt, you can reap any number of health benefits. It's about as out there as alternative medicine gets, but I thought it was a fun experience. More than anything, I considered it an hour that I would get to sit in an antigravity chair and not have to think about anything. With those expectations, I was completely satisfied. I really enjoyed the hour I spent there and found the staff both friendly and accomodating. read more

Had a hot stone massage from Lisa and absolutely loved it. It was so incredibly relaxing and she was very accommodating. We had a little chat first where she asked me if there were any specific areas I would like for her to work on (I did: my neck and upper back area), and then told me what she'd be doing and telling me to undress to whatever I felt comfortable (after she left the room of course). The music was very soothing and relaxing and the essential oils were not too strong, but perfect. The massage was two hours long and it was the best massage I have ever had. I told her that I would like a mix of deep tissue and Swedish and she did just that. I felt amazing afterword!! I definitely recommend a massage from Lisa! read more

I've been a few times to some of Pyramid's yoga classes (though not since the winter, as I've been away at college.) Now that I'm back in the area for at least a while, I plan to go more often- the staff has always been friendly and helpful, the classes are laidback, the teachers I've had are accommodating and friendly, and the studio has such great light. My only complaint is that there isn't a wider variety of classes, or more challenging classes. I am excited to see that an anusara-inspired class has been added on Saturday mornings (and Pyramid is in the perfect location to head down to the farmer's market afterwards!) I also recently experienced the salt cave for the first time, and while it didn't have any immediate effect on my health or feeling of well-being, it was a really relaxing hour. (And my sinuses cleared up while I was in there, which was a welcome relief during allergy season.) All in all, I've always found Pyramid to be very friendly and welcoming, and I thank them for offering the most yoga classes per week in the Rutland area (and at an incredibly affordable price!) read more

Great place to go for gifts and other Useful Items. A variety of crystals, jewelry, books, etc. My friend and I go to the salt cave. I read the review here that was not favorable. I do not know if the cave is made entirely of Himalayan salt: the reviewer believes it is not. Whatever the material is, the Salt Cave is very relaxing, and for that alone , it is healing. You leave with your skin and hair feeling like youve walked on the beach. As a year round Vermont resident, a trip to the Salt Cave in the winter, a Must. Take their advice and hydrate afterwards, you Will be thirsty. A peaceful experience. A brief oasis. The energy is good there. read more

I got a Himalayan Salt Deep Tissue Massage and it was fantastic! I visited their new location on Woodstock Avenue and everyone was very helpful and welcoming. I didn't use the salt room but it looked relaxing. Facility was clean and well maintained. I went to the "salt cave" and was very disappointed. They claimed that the whole room was made of Himalayan Crystal Salt. However, I don't believe this and found it to be very artificial. It was more like a room decorated with real salt on the floors and I really don't know what was around the room. They claimed it contained over a ton of the salt, however knowing the prices of this salt, I truly doubt it. It would cost over 1 million dollars to make this room if it contained that much Himalayan salt. I felt no effects from being in the room for an hour and I would not recommend it to anyone. Awesome wellness center, amazing staff and lots of fun things to buy in their retail shop! Crystals, jewelry, incense...you name it. The center has something for everyone. Yoga, massage, reiki, fitness classes, seminars, tarot readings...too many to list. And what would a wellness center be without a salt cave? Meditate, relax, unwind. I was very disappointed when I made an appointment for a deep tissue massage and did not receive one. When you make an appointment for something you should get it or just tell the client a therapist isn't available. Just spent $80 for something I did not want. I wanted to give this place a chance and become a regular client but I guess I should keep looking read more
