Was very disappointed as I have been going to this place for almost 3 years now. I took my 6 year old to get a kids manicure and pedicure. I asked for her to also get gel so that the polish doesn't come off easily. I was thinking it would only be an additional $10 for the gel. I paid $40 for kids manicure and pedicure plus $30 for her gel. I was only then told it was $30 for the gel when I was about to pay. The second day, the gel polish came off on 3 of these toes. This use to be my favorite nail salon and even though last month the girl doing my pedicure peeled of the skin on my toe and it took two weeks to heal I went back today. The people that do the manicures are great but not the ones that do the pedicures. Got a different lady this time and she used the electric sander they take the nail polish off with & put it on the bottom of my big toe nail and of course it bled. This time I decided to complain about it so I asked to talk to the manager. The girl also who does not speak English was giving me a more expensive pedicure than the classic plus $5 for taking of the callus that I wanted. When I saw that she was going to use the machine for the gel I told her I did not want a gel pedicure. After three guys and another lady came over to see my toe that bled they said she was trying to take off the callus on my toe. I felt they were backing her up instead of seeing that she had no business using that sander below my toe nail. They decided to give me a discount on my pedicure but I will never go back to that nail place. Obviously they do not honor that the customer is usually right especially when I showed them my toe. After I gave the girl a tip Ste disappeared & never came back to check to see if my toe nails were dry or to take the sponge off my feet so I had to do it. Paul was very kind, and he did such a great job. I love my beautiful manicure. I don't know the name of the man who did my daughter's pedicure, but she loved it. I have been coming here since they took over ownership and have seen their customer service completely gone down hill. I have recommended them to multiple coworkers that have become regulars... which I regret doing so. It has been twice going on three times today where I have made an appointment for dip and not seen until an hour later. No apology or acknowledgment. Extremely unprofessional ! The tech who did my nails first did a great job! I came in however to get two nails fixed and it wasn't a good experience. I came in about 45 min before they closed but waited like 15 min to get a tech. The female tech who fixed my nails was in a rush, walked away multiple times, and at one point she straight up left. She grabbed her phone, went to the bathroom and then grabbed her stuff and left the salon. She didn't say a word to me, and I waited like 5 min, alone in the salon, before someone finally came and finished up my 2 nails. While I was waiting the techs gathered at the front and kept talking and laughing. There's an obvious difference between nails that were done before and the ones they fixed, the ones they fixed they only dipped once which is why it looks so transparent. It's a nice place but the quality of the work you're getting is not worth the price you pay. I got the tropical pedicure which cost 60 dollars plus acrylic toes/gel polish which was 65. I expected to pay about that but once he was done, I took a look at the acrylic and the paint job and was extremely disappointed. The acrylic was thick and had been over filed by my cuticle so the natural nail was exposed and painted over. Almost every nail has gel polish flooding the cuticle area and was cured onto my skin. They also used an orange on my skin after a scrub which caused my legs to burn for a bit. I wouldn't come back. read more

Google seems to have more reviews on this place so check that out) 5/5 experience (as of now, went twice) EDIT: 6/5 stars :) I found a little bald spot on my nail the day after I got them done (probably got rubbed before I put it in the curing machine) and went in to see if the nail could be fixed. I thought they would just fill the bald spot with more holo powder and put another clear layer on top but nope, Cherry shaved it down and did the entire holo layer again. She really makes sure the job is done properly. I am very impressed. I usually don't get my nails done unless I'm going on vacation or for special occasions. However, I just decided to treat myself a few weeks back. My roommate and a friend went to this salon and recommended it to me, telling me the way they do your nails is neat and clean. I went and had Cherry (one of the owners) as my technician. I did a gel light purple French tip with little jewel studs on one finger. My picture isn't that great because my nails are pretty short (& my hand positioning isn't great) but Cherry gave me exactly what I wanted. It looked very clean, simple, and neat which is what I wanted. She even recommended certain things due to my nail shape and length. Today, I came back for dip nails and Cherry did my nails again. This time, they were a nude color as a base with a holographic powder ombré. They look wonderful if I do say so myself (such a banger in the sunlight). She shaped my (now longer nails) to such a pretty shape & now I like looking at my hands/nails more I was comfortable getting something fun since I trusted Cherry and her skill. I'm pretty picky about everything and get super anxious when trying something new, but I had nothing to say while Cherry was doing my nails. She is truly an expert and professional! Next time, I'm coming in for a pedicure (I heard from regulars that Ben is the greatest) If you're looking for a simple manicure or a more complex design, I would say give this place a try! Very impressed with this place! I came here this past week for the first time as I have been needing a new nail place. I made an appointment over the phone and then when I arrived I was immediately greeted. I got a basic pedi and manicure with shellac. The service was quick and my nails turned out amazing. I loved the variety of colors this salon had to choose from for nails. The interior is very clean and kept up as well. I really loved the chandelier at the front entrance. It is rather a quite large nail salon! The associates were friendly and attentive the entire time I was there. Sadly was hoping to give this salon a chance. Have seen this site change ownership at least 5 times in the past 7 years. Went in today for a walk in simple manicure. The technician was beyond rude. Truly felt like I was inconveniencing Vicki. Maybe a bad day for her, but never have I had a worse manicure. Not relaxing as a manicure should be. She screamed at me several times to relax and pulled my arm closer to her. WHEN I was examining her work she yelled..."don't touch it"..what the heck? Did not offer a nail fan to speed up the drying process, but one of her coworkers graciously stepped in to offer that service. Also I could not help but notice the stacked cardboard boxes that were perhaps filled with stock sitting out within customer view. This was not my first visit..but likely my last. We came for nails before the wedding day. There was several of us but we made an appointment so they could be ready. Unfortunately they were unprepared and took several hours to complete all the nails. The lady who did the brides pedicure scratched her legs in several parts. The bride said it was hurting her but she continued to scratch and tell her to relax and lay back. She only stopped scratching when 3 others asked her to stop. Then as we were doing the manicure the man who did her manicure rushed it and did not do it correctly. Then when we asked him to fix it he got frustrated and unwilling to listen to our suggestions. BEST NAIL SALON IN MY LIFE!!!! I am from California visiting Colorado for the first time. Was walking around and decided to get my nails done on a whim. They were really busy so made an appointment and came back later that same day. I was worried that they might not finish my services since I was there so close to closing time. They closed up shop but continued my services which was incredible. Other salons I have been to kicked me out because they are closing. BUT They did not rush me nor decrease the quality of service just because they were closing. I am SOOO sad I do not live here! They really care about quality and take their time. I followed the new owners over from Nailcessity when they opened Q Nails . I considered them friends and both did phenomenal work. They just remodeled their store and it's absolutely beautiful and clean some of the best nail technicians in Colorado Springs work at Q Nails. They clearly have a huge clientele. They are always busy. I told them that they were getting too big and to not forget about their regulars. On three different occasions I have scheduled appointment times come in for those appointment times and been told to wait come back or they don't have time this is not how you run a business!!!!! I've told several of my friends about Q Nails and how wonderful they all are and how they do beautiful work.... it's disappointing. I actually considered the owner a friend. And the prices they have posted are not correct if you want a gel pedicure or gel manicure, they charge you an extra $15 per body part‍ after coming to see these guys for five years I have to say I am done and that makes me sad.
