5 Stars. Very happy with the service here. The technicians are extremely attentive and accommodating. They are also very friendly and approachable. They are Vietnamese and honestly I love going to Vietnamese owned salons because I know what to expect. But at this location, I feel the technicians are very nice and they all do a great job and pay attention to details. I used to go to a few salons in Hoffman Estates but I will no longer go there and continue to give my business to Q Nails. Prices are very reasonable and the salon is very clean. You will find they also have a huge assortment of No Chip colors to select from. They will also match your no chip color to your regular colors on your manicure. Definitely a plus!!! First time I've been to this salon. Employees were polite. Everything seems to be up COVID-19 guidelines, as far as plexiglass and employees wearing masks as well. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME GOING HERE! This is my 3 rd time giving this place a try and every single time I go in the lady/man at the first desk is super rude and disrespectful! I went in at 5pm today for a pedicure and to remove my nails. She stated she couldn't do the pedicure because they were going to close early. The place was EMPTY! and I called before arriving. The previous occasions I went same lady didn't greet me upon entering and ask in a rude tone, what you want! What you need! Sorry we can't..... excuse after excuse! I will never give them my business and I wish the previous owners were still around! Leave customer skills and start treating those who support your business with respect! I had a nice first experience here this weekend. Trish, the new owner, greeted me promptly and sat me right away (rare for a Sunday- it got busy after so I'd recommend an appointment). Liz did a wonderful pedicure on me- the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. She also gave me a stunning dip manicure again with great attention to detail. I had one nail break shortly after (my own fault) and stopped in after work and Liz fixed it right away after finishing up on a client. I'm excited to see how my nails will last and look forward to my next visit. read more

Tbh. Very unprofessional. This is just clarifying that why I don't go to this nail salon anymore as well as my mother. Environment is very unwelcoming and dense. You request or ask of something and feel like your asking a lot all while I'm the consumer paying for the service I'm requesting or asking for and your taking and making that very same dollar, so why not use customer service instilled and just do so for the customer ‍ I'm sure you have many faithful clients that won't go any where but with you. But why not instill that very same energy you use on your usual clients with the customers that come in solemnly. That's how you build repor, money and your business. I went to get my nails done I've been to multiple nail salons and I ask for a simple nail set with ether gel or normal nail polish and they usually never turn out good with the coffin shape. New to the area was looking for a place to get my nails done, the first time I came there Tiffany did my nails and they were so great I loved them If you ever go there do yourself a favor and request her. I continued to go there about 2 more times. I was really disappointed when the 2nd and 3rd time my nails were breaking... I've been getting nails for about 5 years now and I had never had a nail break on me WITHIN A DAY. Also spending a tremendous amount of money for that to happen not my cup of tea. Very happy with the way my girlfriend's nail came out!! Brought my girlfriend here to get her nails done, and she chose the no-chip. It lasted two weeks before chipping, which is a lot better than other nail places. The nail tech that sit in booth#4 is very rude, unprofessional, and have horrible customer service, at first I thought it was just her but the owner is ok with her tech rudeness cause she said I seen her work she good, ok I'm telling the owner she is rude and unprofessional smh. The owner is just as rude and she doesn't have good customers services neither. My bill was $67, owner thought that was a problem lol, owner I will pay $67 anytime with a tip for good customer service. The nail tech was just moving my hand so rudely and just grabbing and pushing my hand. She wasn't filing my nails correct they was crooked owner came with her rudeness and say what, like nothing was wrong smh. Bad experience there today, it was my second time going and lulu another nail tech was so sweet but she don't work there anymore. If you go to this place refuse to get any services from the young lady sitting in booth #4. I guess I can't be too critical about a place that I had low expectations for it to begin with. I was a walk-in and I was greeted right away (which was nice) and I asked for a manicure. As I went to pick a color, I noticed that there wasn't a very large variety and only a handful of the colors were salon quality nail polish (no OPI, only a few Essie). The tools it did not appear very clean and the files were noticeably well worn. The technician worked very quickly when someone who appeared to be a regular walked in asking for a specific employee. While I understand patronage to a small business is valued, I also think that paying quality attention to a first time customer is also very important. Unfortunately for Q nails they have definitely lost a customer. read more

Came here in the summer to get my nails done and the man started working on another person while working with my nails, got here around 4:30 ended up leaving at 7 right at closing time, charged me 10 dollars more because I wanted them longer since they where Coffin shaped and 5 dollars more because I wanted one nail colored with a different nail polish total came out to around 45 dollars. One of my nails broke in 1 week and soon after all of them started chipping! My nails usually last around 3 weeks before I go get them re done. Never again. read more

the work was good but not the best me and my friend went here and my friends nail tech had to remove the nail tips TWICE!! bc they were crooked. but as of my nails mine stayed on for a very long while but it was very obvious my nail tech wasn't listening to my requests i asked her to do a medium shape and she did them short she was also kinda rough with my cuticle area i felt like i was getting cut with the nail drill. she was also on facetime the whole entire process of my nails so that caused a big distraction from my nails. in the end they looked good but it wasn't what i wanted so this place is alright read more

I'm very unhappy with the service. I told her I wanted a specific nail shape, showed her pictures. I got the shape she felt like doing, I gave up trying to get the nail tech to give me what I asked for. after getting home I noticed my nails were bumpy, the product wasn't applied correctly. cheap drug store brand nail polish selection...that should've been my indication to run, the good pro brands like OPI are almost gone, she had to refill with some clear liquid 3x while trying to apply my polish. a very frustrating experience, I will not be going back. read more

After visiting Q Nails for the first and most definitely the last time on March 21st for a pedicure, the woman that performed my pedicure dug so deep and hurt me so bad, ultimately after finally going to the Dr for the pain in my toe that I still had a full 6 weeks later, I was diagnosed with a deep hang nail & nail fungus! Save yourself the pain, expense, and 3 month antifungal treatment and go somewhere else. read more
