I have been getting my nails done my whole life religiously every three weeks, at other salons I would experience Nails breaking, lifting and polish chipping. at Beau Den spa I no longer experience any of those things and my Nails last even longer. I extremely appreciate the cleanliness of the products used here and of the Salon. The tools are all brand new, products are non-toxic, and organic. I've never had any kind of skin irritation here which I have at other places. If you value the health and quality of your Nails, then this is the place for you. They genuinely care about the result.. They were not attentive at all. I had to ask for the Nail colors to select what I wanted. An older woman then gave me some other options to look at. I must've waited for at least 10 minutes before I spoke up and asked if I was going to be assisted. The same older woman who gave me the colors to look and responded "oh I don't know "then continued to polish a woman nails who was seated at the pedicure chair, it appeared she was receiving two Services by two employees. Within two minutes or so, 2 other women walked in food in their hand, and they just looked at me and went to the back. No one said anything to me, nor acknowledged me, so I walked out. What is it about these women their race? They are so rude. They don't know how to be polite nor have social skills. I will never return to this place ever.

The thing that really disappointed me was my manicure didn't even last 2 days and was already chipping. I usually expect this a week after a manicure but 2 days later?! There is a process for getting serviced here as well as checking in. When you first walk in, you do check in at an iPad and once you choose your service, you keep the ticket so that later on after your service you pay what you chose unless you change your mind. I did get a Collagen Luxury gel pedicure and I was honestly happy with my service. The woman that did my service was TOP TIER. It's been 2 weeks and 4 days since my last service and my pedicure still looks new. I would share her name, but I gatekeep my pedicure girls so that they are free when I'm there. There is a price difference if you pay with cash and card and I unfortunately was charged the card price on top of a gel charge which was $15 and some change ON TOP of the service. So in total with the service and tip, together I paid $112.25. I think because WHO performed my service, I had no issue with what they charged since I'm about to go into my 3rd week with my gel pedicure and it still looks fresh. And, the employee who handle my service took her time and did a beautiful job on my feet.

This is one of the closest nail salons to me. So it is convenient. I only really go here for…read morepedicures since I do hard gel or sculpted extensions elsewhere. However, I will admit that I did come in when I had a Gel-X tip split from another salon and they helped me with a new nail and tried to match the color as much as possible. The pedicures, mainly gel ones LAST 3+ weeks. It's probably their top and base because I've brought in my own gel (LeChat) and the results were the same. (I do avoid using DND/Daisy since I'm not a fan of them.) They also cut my nails as short as I request them to and VERY SHORT. Massages sometimes can be hit or miss since I need a firm, deep tissue. But I will say the consistency of having pedicures that can last forever is great! Don't change Kevin and Team! My only cons are that they don't do Russian/dry manicures as a normal mani treatment. Prices are a little high, but that's typical Diablo Valley prices. Oakland/Berkeley/Alameda are around 10-15% cheaper.
