My boys met some friends here on an afternoon for lasertag and video games. They had a great time! I liked the flexibility of the packages so I could just do one game of tag. Thankfully, the arena wasn't full. I think it would have been a very different experience if it had been crowded. Also, the staff had mild attitude when they were giving the directions, etc. I could see how this might escalate if it was a bigger/rowdier crowd. Overall, my kids (10 and 12) had a great time, my husband had a great time, I had a great time. If we lived near here, I'd consider it for a birthday party. read more

Beware this place is a rip off.. Warning all games are $.75 to $1.00 each and Lazer tag $9.00.. Druggies adult hang out there as well.. The owners, mangers and workers are rude especially the older lady. I think they hate their jobs.Nobody hangs out in the front they wait for u to come to the counter and come out when they see u on the camera . 1/2 the games don't work. There even trying to sell old games for the price they paid and there used. The air hockey table their keeping doesn't even work but there selling the other one for 2,500.00 wow Ticket counter doesn't work half the time and it's the cheapest paper that cut my hands. My 12yo son grabbed a few friends and celebrated his birthday with a "3-hour package." Being 12 and all, he asked me to lay low, and the manager at Qzar heard it and really stepped up. I came back a couple of hours later, several of the people there knew my son's name, and they were encouraging him and his friends to do different games and get the most out of their visit. We moved to the area last year and our son has been begging us to go, So we surprised him for his birthday and 10 of his friends to run around in the maze of Lazer Tagging. I even joined in to try out! We all had a blast. The maze and light show was nice! You get a vest and tare gun! Video games galore! Dropped $60 bucks in that token machine! Okay, just went there with some friends today, and it was fun. Just fun, nothing crazy. It was really crowded, like always, which kinda makes it a little less enjoyable. Tons of little kids are abusing the play guns on Time Crisis (They have TC 2,3,4. Which, by the way, i destroy all those wierd looking baddies), and it smells a little wierd. Yes I know, kinda wierd to critic an arcade on smell... The staff is very pacient and efficient, but the laser tag gets a little messy. In the game there is always those 3 friends, who go around braking all the rules known to laser tag. They ruin the game, which ruins your day, cuz who goes to q-zar and not play laser tag? Had my sons 8th birthday party here ! Wow first of all you can't go into a room until month of your games of laser tag are done so the parents and host need to stand around for a hour + . Than the laser tag games are one after another. Kids couldn't even eat or drink. ( they should be a hour in between) than you only have the room for about 30 mins and you better watch the timer. Half the games don't work and not like you can get anything when they do work cause you have to have a million ticket just to get a plastic cheap dinosaur figure. This is the best place to go laser tag and it is also very inexpensive. Last night I went to this place at about 9:10 and one guy told me that I can play now or I can wait for some people. I come in 5 minutes to the cashier because I didn't want to wait fir people and he told me that laser tag isn't open because they need tine to close all of the arcade machines. This is something new or he was just lazy to operate it. Keep in mind that the place closes at 10:00p.m. I'm very mad because I drove all this way to get told that it isn't open because the guy was just lazy to operate it. read more

Loved this place as a kid and I hope they are around for my kids to enjoy too. They might be pricey but they are amazing when you are looking for something different to do for the night and feel like being goofy remembering when you were a kid lmao. Okay, I admit being a bit nerdy, but this place Rocks!! I went here a couple times recently against my will, but then had to be dragged out of the place. It has a cool layout and has a really Cool Staff. The place is kid friendly has a Snack Bar, Arcade and of course a Laser Tag room. Make sure you sign a Waiver before you pay. They divide you into 2 different groups and make you watch a video. They are 2 different teams and then you have a Home base. You can either capture a Base or go out and annihilate everyone on the other team. You get 20 shots, but only have 6 lives. If you run of of lives, or ammo; you would have to re-charge your weapon on the Weapons box on base. The fun part part is taking out the lil' ones or getting the slow adults. Bummer if you run out and have to keep going to base. At the end they tell you your number and you can check the scoreboard after you finish. The only thing I did not like about the Arcade is that there is too many Shooter games. They need more Pinball or other Vintage games. Bonus points for Air Hockey and Skee ball games with tickets so you can redeem for prizes. They also have party rooms and you can bring your own food. I will probably inquire next time for the Group rates for our next Bday. read more

We just left QZAR and honestly this place has the worst customer service of anywhere I've ever been with my children. We attended a birthday party for my son's best friend which his parents paid around $300 for. The manager David was extremely rude, unaccommodating, and all of the employees looked unhappy and were lazy and on their phones. The manager told the parents coming to drop off their children that they could not wait for their children in the arcade, that "fire code"doesn't allow it. Will Not return. David should be Fired!! We will not return. Save your $$$!! Very disappointing. Definitely NOT greeted with kindness! :( read more

The lasers are totally inaccurate but it's still a bit fun if not pricey. The staff put up with a few knuckleheads, so I give them credit for that. The arcade execpt for the dance games is out of date and boring but parking is okay and it's easy to find. read more

As far as an arcade and laser tag goes, it works. Laser tag is great, a lot of room and enough suits to host a party. The arcade is lacking. I hope more machines gets added. For an arcade, it's fine because it's one of few in the area, however, i'm sure the laser tag is the main attraction of the facility. Bring your friends for more fun in this location. read more

Q-zar is great for kids... I've taken my two daughters a couple times and they always love it... I've never seen another kid in a different party not enjoy it either. As an adult, I look at it as a chance to be a kid again. The course is large enough that you wont feel like a mammoth. The equipment works and is truly one size fits all. The arcade is basic, but my 8 and 5 year olds find games to hold their attention. Arcade bball, ski-ball, and a few other games. I recommend it . read more

My daughter is 6 and they took the time when they were not busy to show us the game floor and how to work the lazer tag stuff. She ended up being too scared to play but it was a nice clean place and I would go back. The machines were decently priced. read more

Lazer tag happens here, bring your wallet if you intend on having more than two sessions or playing more than the $5 of included video game credits. The staff is friendly, but the rates are higher than most forms of entertainment in the region (movies, bowling, dinner - all cost less). Then again, there are few options for this specific form of entertainment in the area. So if you're ok with burning $20 per person (adds up fast), then you will be right at home (if you don't mind middle and high school kids shooting you ceaselessly). read more

This is a great place for kids to have fun. The place isn't huge like Chuck-e-Cheeses so you won't lose your children. DON'T GO! DON'T GO! DON'T GO! I would aslo love to give ZERO STARS! This place is not ran in a family thoughtful manner and is way over priced. That being said, the reason that has prompted my very first review on yelp is this. I was planning to have my sons 7 year B-Day here. There was to be ten kids invited and one would assume at this age, at least one parent would accompany each child. I booked the date and paid my deposit ($50) but when I did this I was told no refunds what so ever. I thought no problem this is it. Well then I found out that they only allow 16 people total inside the building for my party package. 10 kids plus 10 adults, 4 parents would have to leave there kid. My wife shut that down and said call to see what we can do. I called 15 minutes later but unless I wanted to upgrade, $160 more, then nothing they could do. I asked if I could come and play with my son $50 worth of games and possibly spend more money another day. "NO", they said, I was in the B-Day system. I asked to talk to the manager, she said she was the manager, so I asked for the owner and to no surprise she offered corporates number. Whoopee! So they took my $50!!! I am asking and warning all people and families to stay away from this horrible heartless corporation of a business and spend your money some where else. Terrible policies and disgusting customer service. Go to Diablo rock gym, thats what we are doing. read more

Do NOT come here. You definitely have a better way to spend your evening then to come to this depressing pit of despair and waste your money. I understand that sounds dramatic but trust me on this- it's not worth your time. I came on a saturday night around 9 o'clock- i was expecting there to be a lot of people to play laser tag with ( we were a group of 4, so we knew it would be fun if there was more people) As we walk up to the building and look inside through the dirty windows, we all look at eachother and question if this place was even open. We try the door and to our surprise it was open. We have never been to this place so when we walked in and it was completely empty with no one in sight we were quite confused. we find the counter and look back in their employee room and see a man so we ask for help. We ask if there is anyone else here that's playing laser tag. He says no. Me and my friends try and decide if it's worth the 10 dollars to play laser tag with 4 people. we ask for a tour of the room. Another worker comes out and shows us. It was pretty lame and not worth it. Then we have an interesting idea- can at least one of the workers just play with us? it was completely empty and the guy was pretty nice so we were like why not. he said he couldn't unless his manger said it was ok. we go out to find the first man we talked to sharping some pencils. we interrupt his back breaking work and ask if someone can play with us to make it worth our money. It's definitely palace for the boys. Small so you don't really have to worry about your child being lost. This place is due for a makeover newer games and a men's/women's restroom with plenty of stalls. My son did enjoy himself for the birthday party we attended. read more

Service at QZar was 5*! I was that annoying customer that has ten in the group and pays for them separately and the staff did not act annoyed or put out in any way. Hit or miss. Fun date night activity. Intro movie is pretty corny but Mario Cart and Air Hockey makes up for it.

Went to a child's birthday party and was not very impressed with the place. I had never been here before and won't be back. Many of the arcade games did not work. The children had trouble swiping their cards to play the games as most of the time nothing happened. When we did get a game to work (the skee ball game), it ripped us off. We started off with 9 balls, but once we got to 6 balls, the child threw it and then it showed 0 balls left. The poor thing was cheated out of 5 more times to roll the ball. No employee was helping with the party registration and it was up to the poor parents throwing the party to try get everything in order. Parent's would come in to drop off their children and look utterly confused on where to go. The employee who was helping set up the party room was very helpful and kind. He was the only highlight of the place. There was a woman working there who was rather rude to the adults. Many didn't know what was going on and would ask and get a snide reply from the women. Not very professional. The children, for the most part, seemed to have a good time. That is what matters. I am honestly surprised this place is still in business as it is a complete rip off and hole in the wall. read more

love q-zar equipment is great and amazing staff. what els to say?

The website is very misleading - they state 2 games parties are 2 1/2 hours. The last 45 minutes the kids eat pizza, cake etc. This is untrue. We had 18 kids and laser tag is over after an 1 hour and 15 minutes. Management speeds up laser tag so you must buy tokens to occupy the kids. I have had many birthday parties in different establishments and this was the most expensive for the money. I highly encourage looking at Scandia etc instead of Qzar. read more
