We are extremely pleased by The Memory Mender's work and responsiveness…read more When we discovered the rails that allow the table to extend and accommodate leaves had cracked (actually more like split along the grain), we went to the major retailer from whom we'd purchased the table and an extended warranty ... only to be told, "The warranty doesn't cover that." So after My Agile Cousin Yancy's blew us off, we sought out a couple of repair businesses via the Internet. Another business offered an equally attractive price for the work but wanted to charge $115 per hour for pick-up and delivery. Heck, my mechanic doesn't charge that much to work on my car, and they're just driving. The Memory Mender was much more accommodating and reasonable. He came out to our house to assess the damage, then gave us an estimate. He also worked hard to find quality parts economically, installed them professionally, and refinished the top so that it looks new again. He and a helper picked up the table, he did the work, and the pair returned it to our home in about 10 days. We are LOVING it! We very much appreciate the workmanship, attention to detail, concern for their customers' budget, and their overall integrity. HIGHLY recommended.

Later he was able to get us a pass so we can go there on our own, too. There never was any pressure to be done selecting the fabrics to start work, and we certainly took our time to find the right colors and materials. Because that selection is very important and he is cognizant of it. When the selection was done, he came to us to pick everything up and did the work quicker than we thought it would have been possible since we extended the scope of the work on the fly: we decided to replace all the existing 23 year old seat and back foam in addition to re-upholstering, also grease up the rotating stools, add nonscratch pads to legs, and apply two layers of Scotchguard. Everything happened smoothly, with wonderful timely communication along the way, and finally delivery with everything carefully wrapped up in plastic for protection. The final result vowed us!
