I went in thinking it would be a quick stop, but it turned into a full-on experience. After three hours, we still hadn't made it halfway through. My only real complaint is that I wish it stayed open longer into the day. Every vendor we met was friendly, engaging, and more than generous with samples. Prices were very reasonable, and everything--from the produce to the handmade goods--was beautifully presented. What stood out most was how clean the entire market was. Nearly every vendor went the extra mile to cover their food, protect it from insects, and wipe down surfaces as they went. It showed how much pride each of them takes in their craft. A few standout vendors deserve a special mention. 4 Sons Seafood offered incredibly fresh fish and shrimp, the kind of quality you'd expect to find near the coast. Pearson Farm had juicy Georgia peaches and crisp pecans that perfectly captured local flavor. Maple Milk Farm served up rich, creamy dairy products that tasted straight from the pasture. On the Rocks Gourmet Jams featured small-batch preserves in creative flavor combinations that were both sweet and savory. And Bobbie Ruth's Southern Style Bakery filled the air with the smell of fresh-baked bread, cookies, and pies that reminded me of a true Southern kitchen. Other vendors also added to the experience, including Pine Street Market, Cultured, Sprucewood Cashmere Farm, Diamond P Cattle Co., Taylor Made BBQ Sauce, Bee Wild Honey, Swayback Farms, Java Lords Coffee, Emily G's Jams, and The Cheese Shop at Main Street. Each one brought something special to the table--literally and figuratively. Another pleasant surprise was the number of local shops surrounding the market that were open during the event. We stopped in several and found unique gifts, clothing, and art pieces, which made the outing even more enjoyable. Between the market vendors and the local stores, the entire downtown felt alive and welcoming. We will absolutely be back again and are already looking forward to our next visit. The Alpharetta Farmers Market is a shining example of community done right--friendly people, clean surroundings, quality products, and genuine Southern hospitality at its best.

I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. If you are looking for the ultimate destination for fresh international produce, authentic global spices, and an unparalleled selection of exotic groceries, this is the place to be. I walked in needing a few simple fresh vegetables and some specific culinary spices, but I ended up discovering so much more in every vibrant aisle. The sheer variety is a dream for any home cook or food enthusiast looking to elevated their kitchen game in 2026. The highlight of the trip had to be the live seafood section. Seeing the live tilapia swimming right there is a testament to the quality and freshness that City Farmers Market maintains. It is rare to find such a high standard of fresh caught fish and specialty meats all under one roof. Whether you are searching for organic greens, hard-to-find Asian ingredients, or Hispanic pantry staples, this market has mastered the art of being a one-stop shop for the Duluth community. The atmosphere was energetic, the shelves were meticulously stocked, and the overall experience was a perfect ten out of ten. I am already planning my next trip back to explore more of their international food stalls and seasonal offerings. If you haven't visited the new and improved City Farmers Market lately, you are missing out on one of the best shopping experiences in Georgia! I will definitely be back soon to see what else they have in store. #ashsaidit #CityFarmersMarket #DuluthGA #FreshProduce #InternationalMarket #SupportLocal
