I especially appreciated the wide variety of non-alcoholic items available. While I didn't order any food, the menu seemed very appropriate in size and content for a bar. Prices were very much on the low side. Parking is strictly street, as there's no private lot. The biggest issue is that of safety, and the short, raised concrete stoop at the entrance / exit door. Not only did I sort of fall off of it and onto the sidewalk when leaving, another attendee shouted, "I did exactly the same thing" from across the street when they saw me almost fall. While I was chatting with them a bit, another patron left, and did the same. If any owners / management of Brooklyn Park Pub read this, PLEASE do something to address this hazard!

Came into River Pig to try to catch some of the UW vs UCLA game. The game was on the projector…read morescreen. About 15 minutes in the bartender came over and changed the channel to F1 racing... I looked around the bar and didn't see anyone watching racing. We went ahead and moved a few tables so that we could see the tv above the bar. No big deal. About an hour later, the bartender then turned all the TVs off and displayed the menu on a few TVs. Apparently sports watching was over. We were going to finish watching the game but decided to leave. Not sure if Tito's and Bacardi are the well drinks but they didn't ask us what we preferred and defaulted to that when we went to pay the bill which was about $10 a drink. Our server after we moved was very pleasant and attentive. I didn't catch her name but she was a younger brunette woman in a black dress. She single handedly saved the review being the only staff member in the place that seemed to be enjoying her work.
