I have to be honest, QD's genuinely has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a bar. I was shocked by how rude the bartender was. This is not somewhere to go if you want to have a fun night. Every single worker I have interacted with here has been rude and seems like they have never worked a customer service related job in their life. I will never recommend this bar to anyone. I have visited QD's several times in the past and have always had positive experiences, which is why this situation was so disappointing. My friend reached forward onto the bar because she was trying to steady herself after being pushed by the crowd. In doing so, she accidentally knocked into a salt bowl. The bartender informed us that she was calling security. Although I had not done anything myself, both my friend and I were asked to leave. We complied immediately and left without arguing or causing any further issues. What was most concerning was the behavior of the security guard escorting us out. While we were leaving peacefully, he repeatedly yelled profanities at us, including "get the f*** out." This was completely unnecessary and unprofessional, especially since we were cooperating with his instructions. I also asked for his name so I could report the interaction, but he refused to provide it. As paying customers who left voluntarily when asked, I do not believe we deserved to be treated in this manner. While I understand that staff sometimes have to remove patrons, there is no justification for being verbally abused by security while complying with their directions. read more

Stopped in here randomly in search for some food. It was a Saturday night so the lines for a drink were crazy. Finally ordered a couple slices of pepperoni pizza (Detroit Style). The pizza was very good. Wish I could have ordered a whole pie but they were only doing slices at that hr. Would return when it's quieter to try their menu. I love the polished spin on dive bar Americana ambiance. They have good lighting, which is a detail that I appreciate. The atmosphere is very Instagram friendly & pleasant to be around. Busch Light is $3 a draft there, too. Although they also have lots of high-quality cocktails and creative shots. The bar staff was quick and competent. We ordered their fantastic Detroit style pizza as well. Street parking is available, & it's in the Pearl, so you can always grab the light rail or a bus. read more

QD's shares the space with Wild Child Pizza so you can get your beers and cocktails here, then dive into a Detroit-style pizza in the other room. If i could give zero stars, i would. bouncers are completely inexperienced in reading IDs. I ubered there to meet me friends and when i (nearly 23) pull out my ID they insist its fake. i am polite and ask to see if their supervisor can look it over or anything and they completely ignore me and make me stand out in the cold. eventually i found a picture of my passport and they let me in but i felt completely unfairly judged just because my ID was from a midwestern state. people from kansas do exist and bouncers should look at the credibility of an ID and not just the state. I can't believe I've lived just two blocks away from QD's for over a year and only just discovered this gem! Walking in feels like stepping onto a movie set crafted by David Lynch and Wes Anderson--quirky decor, cozy vibes, and a unique atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. On my first visit, I tried the pesto chicken pizza, and all I can say is 'wow' The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I found myself daydreaming about it long after I left. I couldn't resist going back for a late-night slice tonight, this time bringing along my best friend, Gitza (my red-nosed pup). The bartender was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making us feel right at home. This time, I grabbed a pepperoni slice, thinking it could never compare to the chicken pesto pizza I had before. ! was so wrong. It was so bomb-especially with the side of ranch. On the walk home, I was juggling a very energetic two-year-old pup trying to do her business while simultaneously devouring this saucy slice and somehow, it vanished before I made it home. Fun dive bar! It is fairly big . Friendly bartenders and a very eclectic place. There is a pool table and it is in a room that is too small so you basically hit your stick on the walls. Totally funny and quirky. Would totally go back! read more

I was going to do four stars but now it's a two and I'm probably never coming back to the bar but the pizza from Wild Child is always good. staff is kind of awkward at the bar, no one's really friendly except this one girl with the jet black hair. the reason for the two stars tonight in particular is the tall skinny guy at the bar treated me like a bother and tried to over charge my drinks, charging me for two palomas when I got one paloma and a glass of house white. Maybe it's the younger generation of ppl who think it's cool to be socially awkward and off-putting in a job no one told them to work at but I don't like the general attitude in there; I mean you can have an attitude if you're good at your job but this is not the case here read more

Such a cute bar! Lots of arcade games and a vintage feel, and the pizza is just phenomenal. Especially the crust. The drinks are good, the Icee machine is so fun, but I didn't realize their cocktails were on draft which makes me feel like they should be cheaper. Overall a great spot to hang out in the Pearl :) read more
