Usually I would expect to hit up a McDonalds on a cross country trip through Kansas, but thank goodness for Qdoba in Colby, KS. This is not your typical Qdoba since it resides in a minifood court at a gas station. The menu is mostly the same as other locations minus the Craft 2 menu. The seating area was a bit messy, but what do I expect at a food court gas station. Overall, this is much better than stopping at any fast food chain. read more

I had low expectations, and thought this was a Chipotle knock off, but I was WRONG! The pork quesadilla was outstanding, and loaded with pork, and it comes with some great quacomole. My wife said "I am shocked how good this was". I will look forward to eating here again on way to Denver. read more

Located in the Oasis travel stop right off Interstate 70 in Colby, Kansas, this is a burrito joint along the same lines as Chipotle. I had a delicious burrito with grilled chicken, guacamole, queso, black beans, white rice, cilantro, and lettuce. It was delicious. Not quite as good as Chipotle, but easily the best you'll find out here. Highly recommended, even if fairly pricey. read more

The food was tasty but lacking. The Queso Burrito wasn't cheesy, at all and the meat was all in the middle. The nachos were great!

Probably the best choice in town for travelers looking for a quick lunch. Nothing spectacular but still the best choice. Teens running the counter so tidiness is not a priority; Meats and ingredients mixed together, dirty surface. They were friendly though. I have always liked this restaurant. Since moving to the new location it has only gotten better. Great atmosphere and I always have my glass full. Food is hot, fresh, and has excellent flavor. Never have I not been satisfied when leaving. Will continue to eat here in the future. read more

One of the best places I've ever ate! The guacamole was fantastic and the meat was grilled to perfection. I would recommend it of your on the road or just wanting good quality Mexican food! Pretty terrible. Employees were really rude. All of the tubs of ingredients were very sloppy and nearly empty, and the guy putting together my bowls was just slopping stuff into them willy nilly. QDoba is always the place we stop at in Colby when traveling through. We love the food. Especially the vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options. I have no complaints about the food. The service is the issue. The Caucasian girl working the line today (Sunday, around 6pm) was rude and slopping our choices into the burrito bowl in a hostile manner. They ran out of fajita veggies after my order and my mom asked for some. The girl asked if she wanted to wait and my mom said yes. The girl flung the bowl she had started into the trash. Apparently, that is their policy but the way she went about everything was as if we were a nuisance. The worst customer service attitude. She really should find a different job if she hates working with people that bad. They were not busy so there was no reason for her to slop the food so fast and act so hostile. The next issue is the inconsistency of portions. When you are paying $18 for 2 veggie bowls and an order of chips, quality food (thumbs up), consistency in portions and pleasant customer service should be a priority. My serving of guacamole was twice what my mom received. They were skimpy on our sauce choices. Food gets a 5 star. The other issues a 1. So I averaged the overall rate to a three. I'll still go back but I hope they have more pleasant employees next time. read more

It's Qdoba, so it's decent but the big win here is the playground that the kids can play at after you eat. Big win.

The Qdoba is in the big gas station pavilion. It is a regular qdoba. There are other food and restaurant options there too, like Quiznos and Starbucks to please all. What was great is there is a fenced in playground with covered picnic benches. Perfect for travelers passing thru!!! read more
