Why does Qdoba never seem to be able to get its act together? The staff always seems busy even when there are no other patrons there during the lunch hour. I suppose the fact that it's empty during a weekday lunch hour should be my first clue that it is best to avoid this place. They always seems busy even to be out of something. Looks like they have stepped it up on the cleanliness part. Just had a great chicken bowl. What's bothering me as of late with these takeout places is they want us to tip 18% is the mark. I came to pick up my online order of 6pm at approximately 5:50 pm and I went to go pick up my order from the shelf which I was stopped and asked what is the name on the order. I told them the name of the order and the woman I think who is the manager or person in charge of the shift in a friendly way told me that I'm early and it will get done right away as she proceeded to sit down for her break. The girl that was making my bowl was grumpy which I had no problem with because that's not my concern. And when I get home, More than half of my toppings are not included in the bowl..... I was shocked. It was just rice, cheese, corn salsa, lettuce, only one of the sauces that I selected, jalapeño, and pickled onions. I visited here for lunch today. Let me just say that the staff was as friendly as can be from the moment I walked in until I walked out the door. I would give the service a 5! Food-wise I ordered a Citrus Shrimp Bowl and Chips and Queso. The chips and queso were delicious. I give that a 5. But I wasn't thrilled with my ShrimpBowl. I had to wait about 5 or so minutes for a new batch of shrimp, which wasn't a big deal because I wasn't in a hurry. But the shrimp didn't have much flavor and was very translucent looking. The rest of the ingredients in the bowl were very wet and just not that appetizing. It wasn't especially hot due to waiting on the shrimp, either. So I would give the bowl a 2. So average is a 4, but since the main entree was pretty bad I am dropping my rating to a 3. read more

My family and I ordered Qdoba for take out last night and thought it was okay. I ordered the loaded tortilla soup and was just not impressed. It was pretty cold (we ate about 15 minutes after receiving it) and the flavor of the soup just tasted odd. The portion sizing is huge for a normal burrito bowl - most people would be able to make two satisfying meals out of it. I was disappointed by the lack of chicken in the soup... they probably only had 1/4 cup of it. The biggest bummer is that we ordered chips and queso on the side, but they forgot to put the queso in the bag so we didn't get to eat it. Honestly, I'd rather go to Chipotle. read more

I live at this location basically, order from here almost 3-4 times a week unfortunately, my employees love Qdoba as well. Everytime. Everytime, this location is absolutely so inconsistent. I order $6 chips and queso, literally get 10 chips, other days I'll get the perfect amount of chips that should be the $6 item advertised. I get a side of Large salsa as well, no option to order a side of chips because there is no option to order a Large chips and salsa, only Medium. So sometimes they will give me an extra bag of chips since I am getting a Large size of salsa assuming and then half the time the employees don't do this, then give the 10 chips. I don't understand this location and why they are so STINGY of their chips?!? Some workers over there know what they're doing and others do not. Make it consistent. read more

By far the angriest staff ive ever encountered. The girl that "helped me" literally a said what do you want and I was caught of guard because I did nothing to trigger her. Gave me a half a scoop of chicken, i asked if she could give me a full scoop and charged me for double chicken. $15 for a half scoop of chicken, rice, and queso. Never coming here again. This location usually has fresh food and a clean store. Sometimes the employees have a little attitude, but it's fast food and they don't really get paid enough. I've always been a big fan of Qdoba, hey really have THE BEST queso in my humble opinion ( better than chipotle to be sure), and I never stray from the three cheese nachos. Luckily, queso is pretty low carb so I can indulge while on the keto diet. Sometimes, I will order the child size if I'm not super hungry and just eat it with a spoon. Either chicken or ground beef are my go to options and I'll always add bacon to that. Pico, shredded cheese, lettuce, and jalapenos will round out the meal for me. You can play around with the meals there and it's highly unlikely you'll make a bad choice. read more

Kelly arrived with the food early and helped with set up. She was very friendly and helpful. Everything was labeled, which I really appreciate. The food I received here was very good. Was staying in the area for a year and this was my go to for good cheap food. The staff was so, so. Move to Southfield and went to the Bingham Farms location and the staff were a 10, but the food was so bland, horrible. My hat is off to the staff at the Bingham Farms location they were so warm and welcoming, but they need to work on the food. Northville staff need to take a lessons in attitude adjustments and share their recipes with Bingham Farms. Put them together would be a great combination. read more

Filthy, filthy, filthy. I walked in, stood in line for wayy too long, long enough to notice the dustbunnies and other atrocities and walk out hungry. Actually, more like hangry. First things first, the wait time. Ohmyjeez. The three people working (and I use that term lightly) couldn't give a single you-know-what about anything. A total of 4 people were in front of me and honestly, we stood around for 20 minutes before it was even our turn. At least I was able to take a good, hard look around - which probably saved us from stomach issues later on. Guacamole and bean goop was splashed all over the back wall above the bin, meats and sauces are all mixed, the prep area is disgusting, and if I look up - the light fixtures above the prep area have layers of grime and dust waiting to flurry into my food. The 'dining' room doesn't have a single clean table, the floors are tacky.. I don't even know what to say. Except that I can't wait for Chipotle to open a mile down the road this spring. I've worked in restaurants for almost 10 years and I have my bachelors degree in hospitality management. This being said I'm usually very laid back and understanding when people are in a bad mood or having a bad day. When I go to Qdoba I know the quality of food is generally the same at every location, so that's not the issue. I've gone to this location maybe 5 times and every time I've received rude and impersonal service. Employees will be having side conversations about wanting to leave work and complaining about fellow employees. I think it would be a good idea for the Qdoba chain to monitor this location and consider retraining some of the staff. Fortunately a second location has opened in Novi, only a few miles away. The service is up to par and the food quality is consistent with Qdoba standards. It's worth the extra 5 minute drive to receive better service. read more

I thought we'd give it another chance, because we were hungry, in a hurry, and it was exactly on the way. That was my worst mistake of the day, we should have gone hungry. I've eaten at a lot of Qdobas around the country. I haven't reviewed all that many, as they are generally simple places to get easy food. A few miles away is another Qdoba that we've always had a decent meal at. But this, this is the worst Qdoba I've ever seen. It's incredibly slow, and filthy. How many flies are okay? Two, three, four? I stopped counting. How much trash on the floor is acceptable? It's like every table dropped food and napkins, and nobody has ever swept. Probably because the trash cans were overflowing, so why try to gather the floor garbage. How long does it take to just roll up a burrito? Longer than it takes to ring up two orders? Yeah, that long. The employees seem to have been coma patients that were almost awake. How much lime is supposed to be in the rice? Enough to make my mouth burn? Eating the rice was like eating sour candy. If you complain to corporate, the District Manager does a great job of not calling back. How sick should all four of us be after leaving there? I thought the answer was "not sick", how wrong was I? Yes, its a quick service place that is meant to be inexpensive and fast. It's not cheap food, but yes, it is on the quicker side of things. Stopped in to grab dinner for hubby on the way home from a hair appointment. It was just after 8PM. The staff was RUDE. Talking so fast I couldnt understand what exactly they were saying to me, so I had to ask them "what?" about 3 times. They just slop down the fixins on your tacos. Half the meat didn't even end up on the tortilla, it was just rolled in the foil they wrap the tortilla in. I asked for cheese and lettuce only on the tacos and she barely put any cheese on. I asked for more and she put just a sprinkle more. I gave up. I was wondering if perhaps I had come in close to closing time and they were annoyed? That was not it - they are open until 11 during the summer. Maybe just disgruntled in general. I could live with that. Who doesn't have a bad day? What I couldn't live with was after making my tacos, the woman who was in charge of "slopping the meat" then stepped off the line and started talking about another employee who refused to change his gloves after he sneezed into them. Loudy. With a line full of paying customers. Guess sloppy, snotty tacos are their specialty! I will not return to this location. read more

The service was very sub par and the food was cold and not that good.
