If you're craving good Mexican food and are tired after swimming at the beach, stop by El Rancho…read moreand get your fix! This hidden restaurant is around a 12 min walk from the shore and neatly packed with long tables perfect for bigger parties (4 to 6 people). The few times I've been there, there had only been one waitress manning all the tables, but she does a good job of keeping tabs on everyone. I haven't had a chance to try their other items on the menu yet, mainly because I keep going back for the grilled chicken chimichanga. Let me just say, it is heavy, cheesy, saucy and satisfying! Especially given the refried beans, hot rice, sour cream and salad, this is a hefty plate. Each time I order, it ends up in the to go box, ready for another meal (and I can't say I'm upset about that :) ) that's all from me, ty for reading!

We finally made it back -- and it was just as good as we remembered! I had the carne asada, which was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly (so many places tend to overcook it until it's like cardboard, but not here). My wife ordered the chicken torta, generously layered with lettuce, crema, and all the right fixings. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The food is not only tasty but also reasonably priced, and the warm, cozy atmosphere paired with friendly service makes the experience even better. We're so glad we rediscovered this gem -- still a favorite after all these years!

I leave a lot of Yelp reviews and rarely give 1 star ratings, but unfortunately that was my…read moreexperience here. The service, wait times, and overall cleanliness were all extremely disappointing. When my friends and I arrived, there was a sign asking guests to wait to be seated, so we did. After about 10 minutes of standing there without anyone acknowledging us, despite making eye contact with multiple employees, we finally asked a server if we should just seat ourselves. She responded with a rude "yes." We went to the back room to find a table and ended up choosing the only one that felt clean enough to sit at, as most of the others still had not been cleared or wiped down from previous customers. It then took another 15-20 minutes before a server came to our table, and close to 30 minutes just to receive chips and guacamole. Our entrees arrived roughly 45-60 minutes later, which honestly felt lucky considering the table next to us, who had three small children, had apparently been waiting nearly two hours for their food. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We came on Cinco de Mayo and expected it to be busy, but long waits don't excuse poor service and lack of cleanliness. I hope the restaurant plans and staffs more appropriately for holidays and high-volume nights in the future.

Bartenders were nice, although the place was quite busy due to really good live music, I think they were overwhelmed and understaffed. No prices on the drink menu but classic margaritas (frozen or on rocks) are $5. flavors a little more. they were just okay, refreshing but weak. they were out of pacifico drafts and a Stone lager as well. had tostadas and nachos, tostadas better than the nachos. alot of picnic tables. Music was good, place busy busy. Indoor looked cute.

The meat was pink and bloody but the manager searched on google and told us that it's cooked and that bone in chicken is like that. This is not our first time having bone in fried chicken. It was absolutely disgusting, the place was dirty, the manager was uncooperative and I would never ever come back. We spent 65 dollars and he wouldn't refund us. I have attached pictures!

The front is a counter space with some wall tables and then 4 or five fours tops. Lots Of people coming to make or grab pickup orders. They have menus above the counter and handheld ones on the window sill. The thing that is SPECIAL about this place is you can order almost anything. Chinese, Korean, India, Peruvian, vegan, poke bowls, halal from the counter, it's like a micro cafeteria where you get all the food from all the kiosks in one spot. We got the fire fries, battered fries with a spicy seasoning. Korean fried chicken and chicken pupusas. All of it was amazing. My partner is talking about it right now and it's been like 5 hours since lunch. Just a forewarning: it's you are a sauce boss and need your side sauces. They are slightly sparse with condiments. And keep everything behind the counter so make sure you ask for any side sauces if you think you'll need them.
