Burrito Bowl
Quinn H.

Went to qdoba for a quick and easy dinner! Line moved fast, unfortunately they were out of white rice and it was a 15 minute wait so I settled for the brown (which was good!). When moving through the line they were also out of lettuce at 6 pm, prime dinner time! Disappointed in the experience!

Quick lunch to go!!

I know this may make some of you upset but.... QDOBA over Chipotle any day! You cannot beat the bang for your buck at this place! I always fill up my burrito bowl until it's overflowing and end up having enough for lunch the next day. Fave bowl is: Brown Rice Chicken Fajita Veggies Normal Queso Corn Salsa Pico Lettuce Sour Cream Shredded Cheese Guacamole Lime Slice **Don't be afraid to ask the servers to put more in your bowl! They should be chill about it. Also! Ask for some free chips to go with your bowl or burrito!

I attended a yelp event here, and this event introduced us to the newest item gracing the menu here. We tried the newly introduced tortilla soup bowl; which is pretty much a burrito bowl+taco bowl shell+ tortilla soup. It was reminiscent of all three things with each bite. While I applaud them for being innovative, at the end of the day I did think that it was more just like a taco salad with rice and soup. Since it was just one small little ladle of soup it wasn't very soupy for me, although it seemed some people got more soup than others. I was totally fine with my small scoop of soup, as I enjoy just the regular contents of a burrito bowl without soup normally! I think this new addition to an already basic and favorite dish is meant to enhance the flavor. I think this item would do pretty well on their menu, with perhaps a little more explanation from the staff on what to put in and what you can put in without incurring extra costs.

Super tasty as all Qdobas are! I love all the topping options. Very easy driveway to get in and out of as well.

The new tortilla soup at Qdoba!

I've been to this Qdoba a few times (I'm so glad y'all opened one closer to my home!) and I've never left hungry or unsatisfied. This new restaurant is even nicer than other Qdobas I've visited before. Nice lighting, modern architecture and a clean environment set the stage for a really good, affordable fast-Mex lunch or dinner. I just recently attended a Yelp Elite event there to try out their newest menu item, the Tortilla Soup. It tasted exactly like it when I make it at home (which is kinda weird that it's that good) and they serve it up with all the meat, queso, and other options available. It's served in a crispy tortilla bowl (like a taco salad). Honestly, that's the only thing I didn't care for as the bowl got pretty soggy by the end. Otherwise, it's top notch! Definitely give it a try!

Load Tortilla Soup with Chips & Queso

For fast Mexican food, this is the spot. I love the loaded tortillas soup, my other go-to are the Knockout tacos ( Drunken Yardbird and Mad Rancher are the two I suggest). The staff are friendly and professional, they will offer suggestions if you are not sure what to order.

Quesadilla?

Straight to the trash can after the photo. Never going back. Also looked like the meat was sitting out for hours. Just a waste of money.

It's super cute inside, with so many bright colors, neat Día de los Muertos murals along the walls, colorful pendants strung on top of the dining area, and a very cool bar with a patterned, arched shelves. Even the dishes and cups are fabulous, with earthenware mugs, blue Talavera style dishes and bowls, and even branded El Milagro margarita glasses. Now more importantly, the FOOD is just as good as the decor and the dishware. They use extra high quality ingredients, and everything is always served hot and fresh. We have had the birria, nachos, street tacos, flautas, and so many other things when we branch out and try something new. Their drink options are also great, with strong margaritas, crisp cervesas, and tasty cocktails. The service is always fantastic, and they are always hopping with customers, so you know you found a good spot. Best of all, you get pretty large portions, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg like some of the newer Mexican restaurants in town. Next time you're thinking about heading to the Texas Roadhouse area, skip the Roadhouse and try El Milagro instead! I guarantee you will not regret your decision.

When we walked in it seemed like our server was the only one there working - drinks took a while to arrive and didn't come as pictured on the passport but were still good. I got the Barria taco meal and never received my rice that went along with it, ended up being fine I was full but could have taken for leftovers. Plenty of tables and cute decor. Overall, the food was the star of the show and our waiter got the job done with our large party it was just slower service than I was hoping for an early off peak meal. Worth it to come in expecting slow service to get a good meal imo!

Not only is the food incredible, but the staff are the absolute best and the ambiance is very welcoming and comfortable. We started with some chips and dips, and the queso was delicious. It was the perfect amount of spice but still creamy and cheesy. The salsas were also very flavorful and a great start to our meal. I chose to get the carne asada for dinner and it was absolutely AMAZING. The steak was so juicy and tender, and seasoned to perfection. I was so impressed, and it was perfectly paired with some tortillas de maiz, the guacamole, and rice and beans. I would absolutely get this meal again. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were incredibly sweet, helpful, and provided great recommendations. I will absolutely be returning here again!

The service was fantastic, and it felt like a true family restaurant. The chips were so good, and the salsa was spicy but not too much for people with sensitive palates. I love this style of chips, not a thin restaurant style but a thicker, more savory bite. We went through one portion before our food got to us and they brought more out when I asked. I highly recommend the tacos. I made a mistake and asked for birria not quesabirria tacos, so make sure to specify that if you want quesabirria (with cheese). But, the birria was good anyways! I also got the taco macho (see the pic for what's inside), and wish I would've ordered 2 of those! My husband got the huitlacoche and squash blossom tacos and they were both so good. I was so impressed they had huitlacoche as an option, I've never seen that before! The drinks were ordered and delivered from the server, but she said since they're working on a liquor license they have a bar next door that makes them. If you order a drink with your food, they charge for the drinks and food separate for that reason. I liked my jalapeño margarita! My husband got a cantarito and said it's the best one he's had from all the places we've tried to far!

The streetcar boondoggle is not affecting their block so parking is available. Decor is calming. I did not opt for an adult beverage as they were a bit pricey and I needed to retain focus. Settled on chicken enchiladas. Very tasty with some kick. The cheese was drizzled on top rather than baked through. Service was exceptionally friendly, I suspect from the bartender/proprietor. Would definitely return if in the area, but for now I am generally avoiding streetcar construction chaos. If you are downtown anyway, go.
