Stay away from the flower department!! I'm a regular customer of QFC, yesterday I bought flowers to give as a gift. Since they're wrapped in plastic I was unaware until I got home that the flowers had to be at least a week old. Although the flowers themselves looked good the wet parts were slimy and The leaves were dried. I called customer service to report this, and was told to bring the product back in for a replacement. These flowers were meant for a gift at a party at my house today, there is no way I can give a week old slimy stemmed flowers as a gift! Bringing flowers back to Edmonds the next chance I am able is ridiculous, since even fresh beautiful flowers get old and slimy soon. I was told a picture would not do I had to bring the product personally. Never again will I touch any flower from the Edmonds QFC, this is incompetent and poor management in this department. read more

I pick up groceries at this location, where I've shopped for 11 years. Rating is for corporate customer service. I've used the grocery pick up option for more than 3 years. For the last 2+ months some of the items I regularly order haven't been available for pick up and are available in-store only. I sent a message to Kroger via email asking why. QFC - Grocery Near Me - Edmonds, Washington

Over the last few months I've encountered more and more changes to the experience of shopping at this QFC that have now caused me to reconsider using this as my regular grocery store. It started with certain items that I shopped for regularly being more and more frequently out of stock. It was an occasional thing, at first, and annoying as a result, but then it started to become normal and I started to have to consider whether it was worth it to make a separate trip to another store or just forgo the things I wanted. The next strike against this store was when they rearranged nearly everything in the store, causing my smooth shopping trips to become rocky and disjointed. I realize that this is the kind of thing I'd adapt to, and that stores do this to shake things up and trick customers into buying more than they intended, but the changes also seemed to further reduce the items I was shopping for while adding nothing in return. The penultimate insult was when the store eliminated shopping baskets. I'm used to doing 49 out of 50 shopping trips with a basket rather than a cart, so being forced to either buy only what I could carry or push a cart that I didn't need, was pretty insulting. When I asked they claimed it was because their baskets kept getting stolen by homeless people. In Edmonds? Are you kidding? What a load of crap. I think this is just another attempt to make people buy more. The last straw was when even more of the things that I typically buy started disappearing from shelves. It got to the point where a quarter of the items I needed to buy were simply never there. With that I decided that Safeway really isn't that far out of my way, either from home or when I want to stop on my way home from work, and the Edmonds QFC lost a loyal customer of more than ten years. It may be conveniently located, but the PCC across the street has better quality, and the Safeway a mile and a half away has better selection. Save yourself the frustration and the trip. read more

Yesterday I shopped the Edmonds QFC for the first time in many years. The staff was gracious and welcoming. I clearly got the impression that I was unfamiliar and a new customer. I switched from the Lynnwood QFC store as my recent shopping experience there has turned sour. I dreaded returning as the last time I shopped the Lynnwood store a couple of employees went at it, creating a tense uncomfortable atmosphere. Most of the staff are just fine, but it only takes a couple of employees to offset a pleasant shopping environment. At the Edmonds QFC I found several well-priced grocery items, was greeted by the checkout staff and offered load out. Every single associate had a smile or a look of contentment and confidence. This hints that each location may have its own 'culture'. I will continue to prefer to shop the Edmonds location (over the Lynnwood location), which is a bit out of the way, but at this point, it is the preferred choice. read more

Check your receipts! Looked over my receipt when I got home and noticed they charged me $4.29 for a $1.99 scannable coupon item. Check my phone & it was definitely scanned. Returned to the store only to be told "That happens all the time with the scannable coupons & it just creates more work for us." Really? So, customers get ripped off & their complaint is when we catch their "error" & have to make an extra trip to get it corrected, it creates more work for them. Nice! read more

Two stars because of the convenience and the staff is still pretty nice. The latest is they got rid of the small baskets because they claimed they were being stolen. Now I walk in with a Trader Joe's bag and they look at me like I'm stealing stuff. Awesome. This place is such a mess. read more

Prices are really great in my opinion. I come from California and I was really happy with the prices and coupons they have. Also I find Kroger products to be just as good as name brands. Maybe because of the grocery prices there this place seems very reasonable. I love the coupon options they have. I feel the selection is very large and wide. The produce is really good. This store is very convenient for me, but I find myself shopping here very rarely. Every time I shop at this QFC I am reminded of why I hate it. The parking lot is ridiculously small and difficult (no walkways for customers or carts between cars; no corrals to leave carts). Then there is the actual store itself: it's disorganized and difficult to find what I need; sale items are often sold out; prices not clearly marked on shelves; huge bins of random items getting in the way (a bin of peanut butter in the meat department??). Trying to get help in the deli department is frustrating; even when there is no other customer and 3 employees standing behind the counter talking, it takes forever to get one to help. It's like they are actively avoiding waiting on customers. Shopping here is always a chaotic, frustrating experience. Even Walmart is more pleasant read more

This is my primary grocery store of choice in the Shoreline/Edmonds area for groceries. It is big and has a variety of selections which is nice for buying foods I routinely eat but also providing options if I am feeling adventurous and want to try something new. The tellers/cashiers and baggers are friendly and even if lines are long during peak hours they still move at a reasonable pace so you are out before the ice cream melts :). read more

This QFC in Edmonds is clean, organized and is on the smaller side. However, almost all of the QFC's I've been to are small. The parking lot was full on a Saturday afternoon. Bathroom was clean. Interacted with someone in the liquor aisle who was really friendly and happy to help out. read more

The people are nice. The store itself, poor. 1) Why do they insist that you have to buy huge quantities to get a "deal"? Well, we all know why ($$$), but it isn't right and harms single people and small families, especially those with less. 2) The parking lot is too small and awkward. Because the truth is WINCO is way more competitive when it comes to prices, they also have way larger of a selection. Edward in the meat/seafood department is awesome! He actually greeted my boyfriend and I very quickly and inquired how he could help us in an authentically friendly way. We were so hungry we were incapable of making decisions and told him so and asked for his recommendations. He proceeded to hook us up with his "two favorite things" and packaged up a pound of sweet and spicy bacon for blt's and a pound of kalbi marinated flank steak. I'm not embarrassed to say that we ate both that very day, and neither disappointed. So appreciative of Edward's fantastic customer service. He's our guy! read more

I visit this QFC intermittently. Normally after the gym. I appreciate that they are not busy very often. I can normally get right up to a teller or use the self check if I have a smaller amount of goods. The staff I have interacted with are friendly and the store is very clean. The only downside with this QFC is the pricing. Everything seems a little more expensive here. I don't know if that's due to location but it does limit my shopping at this location. read more

This store is top notch on my list. I'm always lucky to get the help I need - may it be a very simple one and or sometimes a not so easy. Tonight I just wanted to load up my Orca card bcs I want to try taking the train or light rail to Seatac. Orca uploading dept is currently closed but the night ppl were kind to give me plenty of change to grant my wish. They could've said no and preferred to keep their loose change bcs they always need em but not only that, they gave me more info I needed to catch this rail system. This is called kindness. Usually QFC feels like a high end grocery market to me, but this one felt like a step Safeway. They had all the usual things, nothing special in the way of prepared foods like downtown QFCs. My husband saw the fish guy drop a piece of fish in the ground (I'm assuming he threw it away)... and the fruit was not the best. Maybe it's because we came on a Sat. Night before restock. This is such a poorly managed QFC. It's always a chaotic mess no matter what time of day I go. Now during Covid19 there's zero social distance organization for customers (I had to check out directly next to another customer with no space or plexiglass in between us). The employees don't help sanitize anything. The "one way" isle stickers were removed. They are always unstocked, with the few items left pushed to the back. An employee actually watched me struggling to reach an item that was way in the back and offered zero help. Whomever the floor manager is should take a note from the Edmonds Bartelles. It's always clean and organized and I always feel safe shopping there. I only shop here because it's close, I need to find a new QFC. After reading other's experiences I'm not supposed, super disappointing that this store is under such terrible lazy management. read more

I recently moved back to Edmonds.. I love this store.. Compared to grocery stores in Albuquerque this is heaven.. Great liquor and wine selection.. Items are more expensive here then I could get at Safeway but they have a lot of cool brands I haven't seen elsewhere.. The deli is nice and love the sliced rotisserie sliced turkey.. This store is busy. There is long checkout lines in the evenings. Standing in line for self checkout a man cut in front of me, and the 19 or 20 people behind me in line. I was the only one who said anything, even though we all saw him do it, the employee as well. I told the man, if your going to cut in line, the least you could do is hurry the f&## up. I said one bad word. The employee monitoring the self checkout line admonished me, and not the man that cut in front of everyone in the line. This is America, need to stand up for our selves, even over stuff like this. I had never shopped here before, but I'm delighted with the pick up service.... easy to order, never a long line (you reserve an hour of pickup time) and the folks bringing bags out to the car are uniformly very pleasant, and quick. Go to QFC for the specials and sales, but go elsewhere to get anything else. Just do some price comparisons and you'll be shocked (ahem.. quaker oats are $9.50 -- $4 at a certain store starting with Wi...). If it doesn't have a sale sticker, just move along. Also, to get the sale price, you more likely than not have to get 5 or 6 (yeah, I really need $40 worth of cashews). The Edmonds used to feature high quality meat, fish, poultry, dairy and produce, along with high quality canned food and packaged food. Prices were high but so was the quality. The store now carries mediocre meat fish poultry most of it pre packaged. The produce is fresh, but average, but with a moderate selection. Seasonal fruits are rarely ripe. The aisles contain scads of Kroger label products, and less of anything else . The store is now more interested in pushing Kroger products than providing anything I am interested in buying. The bakery sells nothing that isn't mediocre. The cheese sections offers mass produced cheese aty artisanal cheese prices In spite of the cutback in quality, prices for everything remain high. I shop here occasionally, but only when everyplace else closed. read more

A huge shout out to QFC... for believing your customer when we left a pricey item at your register that we bought for the Christmas gathering... only to find it never made it to my bag, car or home.... while we made it work for the gathering, I called the store and explained what I thought happened... JACOB says, no problem... bring your receipt to any cashier and we will gladly make it right! Are you kidding me! This is awesome! I then go into the store, bring the item to the register and tell the gal about my call with Jacob... she looks at the receipt and tells me "no problem... i go here because this is my close-to-home QFC. But come ON, night crew! Don't be lazy! I called tonight (yeah it was late, but you're open, so therefore your customer service should still be available to me) to see if you had a particular kind of wine. i drank my friend's entire bottle of wine....and i reeeeally needed to make sure before i drank it that they had it here, so i could replace it the next day. Or else....no wine for me! So you see, it was only under the most desperate of measures that I called. And Mr. Fussypants responded to my very shy request to perhaps check, if he could, to see if they had it. "Um, our wine steward doesn't work till tomorrow." Wine steward? You mean you aren't trained to read a bloody label? I didn't say this, but I asked if it would be too inconvenient to take a minute - no longer - to take a peek on his own. "*SIGH* That might take awhile." OK by me! I'll just jam to this fresh beat on your hold system while you check! He did, but he hung up on me as I gushed out my thank-you's. Come on, man! I know it sucks to have to work late, and you're probably stocking a bunch of crap, but I was nice. Don't make me feel bad about asking. I entered in front of a huge cigarette display. UGH! This is QFC I am here and hungry. I wander around. They have lots of stuff-- OK lots and lots! It's one of their mega-stores as compared to the midget in Wallingford!. I go in the deli and sample a couple items.. the sausage is delicious. It was a bit comical that the staff behind the counter swooped in to ask me if she coudl help me when I took a second helping! I decided on a deli protein salad - carrot, cuke, garbanzo beans and cottage cheese cheese with garlic and lemon juice - great choice and som deli soup. I get in line and as I am getting my things rung up the staff asks me why i didnt fill the soup all the way - I tell her I was going by weight and she informs me that it isnt by weight - its charged by container and to get it filled after I finish paying. I am so impressed by her thoughtfulness. I will likely be back - I some times work up here and once I know the lay of the land - it's always easier to come back, knowing where I can grab a quick good healthy bite. The salad was a great choice and the soup was normal deli tasty. I would try a salad buffet bar next time. read more

This is a very "everybody knows your name" sort of store... or rather I should say, "everybody knows everyone's name but mine" sort of store. The staff are always very friendly with their customers. It seems the cashiers know everyone who comes through their line. They chat, laugh, ask how the kids are doing, etceteras. It would be a very warm and inviting thing... if they would acknowledge me somewhere in their mingling. Despite the warmth and friendliness towards other regular patrons, I always feel like I get the cold shoulder. Yesterday I stopped in to pick up groceries, and the cashier was having an engaged dialogue with the lady in front of me. They obviously knew each other well. As the lady ahead of me picked up her items, the cashier started to scan my selections, al the while continuing to chat with her. Then, once that lady had left, rather than acknowledge me, the cashier immediately struck up a dialogue with the lady behind me. I never once received so much as a "hello". It was very off-putting. My groceries were bagged and paid for and I walked away without so much as a word from the cashier directed towards me. Like I said... warm and inviting... for some people. This happens all too frequently when I come here. Other than that, it is a decent grocery store. Their prices can be really high, but the occasionally have good sales. One of my biggest peeves however, is the parking. Sometimes it just isn't there, or the only available space are at the liquor store in the next lot over. read more

Do not enforce covid safe practices. They have signs up but no one is disinfecting carts and baskets like at the other grocery stores and when people come in without a mask no one takes any notice or says anything. I usually go the 76th and 196th location. I will continue to. I am spoiled by the friendly sweet cashiers and employees of that location. This one, not so much. Came here looking for a specific brand of pouches, website said was sold here. It isn't and to top it of bought a travel size lotion for my 3 year old, said price was 2.19, got home and was charged 4.39. I will stick to the accuracy and friendliness of the other location. read more

Awful, absolutely awful! I have been shopping at QFC for the past 15 years and I'm done. I shop there because they are always somehow the most conveniently located to where I live. Parking: Its only suitable if you drive a Mini, Prius, or a Smart, but if you do you'll likely shop at the PCC located directly across the street anyway. But if you are still here and you are able to shoehorn your car into the incredibly cramped lot you are treated with a wide path to walk down as you enter the store. Oh wait, you can't because the path leading into the store is being used for two rows of shopping carts that if all used at the same time would violate the Fire Marshall's occupancy limitations for the building. This leaves only a single lane for pedestrians to leave or enter the store. Should someone with a cart be exiting, those exiting must leave the sidewalk to stand in the parking stalls as the cart passes or if it is a person awkwardly shift to let the other by. Store Interior: As the Texans would say, this store has twenty gallons of crap shoved in a ten gallon hat. On average QFCs are laid out the same and in a fairly logical manner, but not here. The bakery is the size of a college dorm that has had half of it turned into a cupcake display with the bread aisle located nowhere near it in an obscure aisle between pet food and personal hygiene supplies. The Pharmacy is a nondescript hole in the wall with cardboard signs to compensate for the lack of effective corporate ones. The directory board is falling apart and most aisle numbers next to the products are missing or have been written in with black Sharpie. Finally, as others have pointed out this store is claustrophobic. The aisles are too tall and narrow. Opposing carts are have barely three inches of space between each other. Add that to the height of them and you are left feeling like you are passing through a long, poorly lit tunnel. Employees (clerks, checkers, etc.): Wonderful, friendly, outgoing and helpful. They really are the only redeeming feature of this store. You are the only reasons this review is two star. Should you need help one will give it to you with a smile so long as you are not asking where a product is. If you are they will do their best to help, but shopping here you get the feeling that stock locations are fluid thing with product floating from one location to another. This kind of change can hardly be blamed on them. One thing you'll also notice is the not so quite whispers when they congregate in the store. They HATE their store manager. In one visit I overheard three separate groups complaining about whomever this person is. Personally, whenever I've encountered managers at this store I'd have to agree with them (see below). Managers: By far the worst part of this store. Each time I've encountered one I've been left with the feeling that I'm talking to a "Made Man". These people give off an air that they don't need to worry about the customer experience because nothing can touch them. To all still reading, if you ever encounter a 5'6, 35-40 YO manager with long black hair in this store just walk away (I believe her to be the store manager). This person has no right owning this title and is likely the person the other employees were emphatically complaining about (see above). QFC, you've lost a long time customer. From now on I'll be shopping at the PCC directly across the street from you or the Top Foods nearby. read more
