Nice grocery store in Chinatown. Parking lot right in front. Very convenient. Spacious inside. Clean and bright. They have many sections, grocery, snacks, drinks, kitchen supplies, stationery and more. I definitely love the chips section. More options than NJ. I would have bought the whole shelf if I can. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but they seemed nice.

Uwajimaya has to be the largest, cleanest, and nicest Asian grocery stores I've ever been in and I'm jealous this isn't local to me! Also wish I didn't discover it my last night in town because I would have stopped in almost everyday. Huge selection - from health & beauty, dishes, alcohol, prepared food, and just about everything you can imagine from the food side (pantry and fresh). Large produce selection with a lot of items you can't easily find in an "everyday American" grocery store. I also loved they carried salad mixes. The meat and seafood area had great selection and was so clean and fresh! The pantry type items also had an incredible selection. I wish I could have stocked up on so many things. For a quick lunch or dinner, stop by and try some of their prepared food items - great selection and I felt reasonable prices. I loved browsing all the aisles and was so inspired to want to make a delicious meal. Since I was traveling, I could only pick up a few items! Hope when I return to leave some extra room in my suitcase. Great store!

First time here, store was super clean and it already remind me of Japan supermarkets! They have plenty of everything so it's nice to shop around.

Shopping in Seattle, Washington... My high school friend recommended Uwajimaya for Asian groceries. I didn't really have a shopping list. I was just browsing... The first thing that I noticed was the paid, shared parking lot. The sign indicated that Customers need to show a receipt with $20 minimum purchase for a 2-hour validation. Uhg! So... I looked for something to eat for lunch... Uwajimaya is a spacious, clean, organized store. I looked at the fresh produce, prepared foods, plushies, personal care items, Asian greeting cards, tote bags, insulated bags, live seafood, etc. I settled on some summer rolls and sushi. They were ok. I don't think I'll return unless I really need to buy groceries.

So fun to shop for fresh veggies and unique food stuff and gifts. Spacious, clean, and brightly lit, Uwajimaya is a great place to Explore and discover new foods. Enjoy!

Had a chance to visit this Asian grocery store after going to the Passport Agency in Seattle. Parking was a frickin' hassle, as always at this location. Limited spots and most of them are small spaces. You also have to pay for parking if you do not buy at least $20.00 worth of groceries. Browsed around the store a bit, got some hot to-go foods from the small food court they had and picked up different drinks, buns, frozen foods and instant ramen. The service at the check-out line was smooth and convenient. The employees were friendly and courteous. Selection of items - fruits, produce, pre-made food items are a bit less than the other Uwajimaya locations, though. Prices are almost the same or similar, but less inventory in my opinion. And a bit less crowded inside, at least the time we went. Overall, had a good shopping experience, so no real issues there. Got almost everything that we basically wanted from the store.

08-30-2025 We came here planning to get several items for our soup. Somehow, we ended up speeding $137.68. No regrets, totally worth it lol. Everything was fresh: Tuna Furikake Poke $19.99/ lb, cilantro $0.99 ea, green onion 2/ $1 etc. While shopping, we lucked out and got a coupon, $15 off with $75 purchase. I think it was Labor Day weekend special, Aug 27th to Sept 2nd. What a deal! Service: Cordial and helpful staff We had a pleasant experience and will return again for more ingredients for our cooking. Enjoy shopping for your groceries y'all! : ) Oh, don't forget to buy your partner or spouse flowers. They are beautiful and inexpensive, $20 a bundle. What a steal!

I was recently impressed with their hot bar, especially the Mongolian beef. The thick cuts of tender steak were delicious! I got the Lucky box meal - split fried rice and chow mein, with 2 sides: fried fish and the Mongolian beef. It's so much food that could easily feed 2 people and such a bargain at $12.50. I'm certain this is the best deal you'll find at Uwajimaya. The other hot foods looked good too with many vegetarian options.

Uwajimaya is enormous, like genuinely overwhelming in the best way. You walk in thinking you're just gonna grab a few things, and then suddenly you're standing in front of shelves full of stuff you didn't even know you needed lol. Last night I left with DISHES as if I need more dishes. But anyway - fish and meat quality's been excellent. Got tobiko, wagyu, hamachi, scallop, ama ebi - everything tasted fresh and clean, not a single off smell or weird texture. Super wonderful. Made a few solid meals this week with just what I picked up from there. Didn't need to hit any other store, which is rare. It's expensive, yeah. I def spent $200 this week just in groceries but oh well. The only real annoyance was the mushroom section. Weirdly small + not much variety, which makes no sense for a store this size. Also, PS don't use Instacart for fish. You have to be there to see the cuts yourself. Definitely one of those things you wanna eyeball in person. One of my trips was Instacart and I could 10000% tell the diff in what they picked vs what I picked. Sad bc it saves a lot of time but you rly need to fish shop yourself. Super pleased though :) parking is validated w $20 which you will most certainly be spending lol

Great Japanese market in Seattle's Chinatown district! They have groceries, Japanese snacks and beauty products. They also have an area of prepared foods like musubi and onigiri. They also have a food court area with different vendors, lots of tables and a restroom.

Is there a maximum height on parking? If so what is it?

It's open air parking, I believe

What's the process for getting your parking ticket validated during self-checkout?

Just hand it to the cashier as you're checking out, and it gets validated then. Either the person watching over the self-checkout lines or a regular cashier (I've had to go both routes, different times).

Do they sell Oshogatsu plates for New Years?

I've seen them sell it in the past.

First time renting a car while visiting Seattle. We usually use the LINK and buses to get around when we visit. My brother and I have aways seen the private parking and was wondering if it cost to pay to park here? We are heading down on June.

Not right now. Right now it is free with covid shut down. Free to park in the lot or on the street. And when they do charge again, you get 1 hour free parking with $7 purchase, 2 hours with $$ validation. It's pretty easy!

    Do they have senior discounts?

Hello Chris, seniors get 10% off their purchase on Tuesday mornings, from 8am - 11am.

Does the store sell kpop merchandise and korean beauty products?

I don't recall seeing Kpop merchandise or Korean beauty products at Uwajimaya. They are all Japanese.

Anyone know where I can find dragon's beard candy? It's like cotton candy with peanuts wrapped inside.

Not sure if Uwajimia carries it, but there are a number of vendors on eBay and Etsy that sell it.

Hi, is the man selling fresh roasted chestnuts at Uwajimaya, yet? Also, are there other places I can purchase them? I live in Tacoma so can commute or pay for shipping. Thanks!

Oh yes, he was right there outside the store when I was there. The smell was AMAZING, by the way. Probably should have got some myself, maybe next time. I'm not sure about other places, at least, I wouldn't want to assume anything about the other… Read more

Does anyone know if they have a rewards program so that when I buy a lot there, I can work towards getting stuff cheaper or discounts or something?

No, but every Friday evening you can get 10% off if you have a student ID, and once in a while there are 10% sales or coupons.

The T&T in Lynnwood doesn't disappoint at all. While it is smaller than the Factoria location, we do not personally have any complaints. The place is not always packed like the Factoria location and that is a a relief. We primarily use the food & bakery sections, live fish, and frozen food sections. One can say they are a bit pricier in comparison to places like Ranch Market who have similar options but we T&T is closer to us than Ranch Market and so we prefer to go here as it is more convenient. They are special items during Boat Festival every year and we absolutely love the bun station during this time. This is also a great place to experiment with a lot of not usually found Asian alcohol in main stream supermarkets unless you are specially going to a specialty shop.

It is located…read morein a former Sprouts store on a corner with a Safeway and Trader Joe's across the street. The Bellevue location is larger and that is evident when I checked the offerings here. There is not as much store space, so there is less selection of everything. I found the aisles to be cramped compared to Bellevue. Even when the Bellevue store is packed, I can meander around the crowds. It felt like a maze at this one on a busy weekend afternoon. There is a 99 Ranch nearby in Edmonds and I do prefer it over this T&T based on selection and price. If you do live close to Lynnwood, I do think it is worth shopping at for the T&T private label products and items that T&T carries that 99 does not. But I am going to stick with shopping at the Bellevue location because it is superior to this one.
