The Buffalo is the perfect combo of functional fitness, weight-lifting and a little CrossFit thrown in! The community is very welcoming and family friendly and I love how you see every body type and age here! They have great, new equipment, a long turf area and a designated weight machine section. This place is huge!! Also, if you have kids, they have free daycare for certain classes so you don't have to worry about it. I've been a member here for a little over a year and love it here. I originally left a more critical review because of some early frustrations around scheduling when I was on a different plan, but I want to acknowledge how much that shifted once I moved to the unlimited plan. It became so much easier to get into classes, and that accessibility has made all the difference in my consistency and progress. The Maple Valley location in particular has been incredible. Although, I havnt yet needed to explore other studios as I usually get into the classes I sign up for. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your growth. I've seen real changes in my body, like better posture, core strength, and flexibility, and I've become so much more aware of how I move and carry myself throughout the day. It's not always easy to find a fitness routine that feels sustainable, but this has become something I genuinely look forward to. I know Pilates isn't for everyone, but I would recommend giving it a shot. If you're in Maple Valley, you're in especially good hands. If you have been wanting to try it I would highly recommend trying out this studio!! I would recommend so many of the instructors too but my favorites personally are Mandy, Heidi, Jelena, Pia, Sunny, Sandy, and Rachel! I also love all the girls at the front desk!! She has created a space where care, perseverance, and connection are truly part of the culture. I've had three personal trainers for different programs that was interested in and I found Kelly Smith to be particularly helpful in dealing with some issues I had with sciatica.. she emphasized how you can develop strength and mobility, making my workout time more efficient. Her glutes and sciatica training were extremely helpful and I have not seen those exercises in any online videos.
