Updated Review - 6 Months In & Grateful! I've been doing Pilates consistently for about six months now, and I can honestly say it's been life-changing. I originally left a more critical review because of some early frustrations around scheduling when I was on a different plan, but I want to acknowledge how much that shifted once I moved to the unlimited plan. It became so much easier to get into classes, and that accessibility has made all the difference in my consistency and progress. The Maple Valley location in particular has been incredible. Although, I havnt yet needed to explore other studios as I usually get into the classes I sign up for. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your growth. I've seen real changes in my body, like better posture, core strength, and flexibility, and I've become so much more aware of how I move and carry myself throughout the day. It's not always easy to find a fitness routine that feels sustainable, but this has become something I genuinely look forward to. I know Pilates isn't for everyone, but I would recommend giving it a shot. If you're in Maple Valley, you're in especially good hands. If you have been wanting to try it I would highly recommend trying out this studio!! I would recommend so many of the instructors too but my favorites personally are Mandy, Heidi, Jelena, Pia, Sunny, Sandy, and Rachel! I also love all the girls at the front desk!! Megan is especially knowledgeable and always had the answers I need!! If Tracy the traveling TX instructor is ever there, it's a MUST to take one of her classes or doing one workshop I HIGHLY recommend taking one of her classes!! I have been attending classes for about 4 months now and have really found my routine. I love the variety of classes. Scheduling can be tough but the waitlist seems to work well. I didn't successfully get promoted off the waitlist for only 1 class. It was a little stressful just waiting for a notification all the way up to class time. I feel there should be some policy where maybe an hour before the waitlist gets a notification that the class attendance is final? Idk, something to make it less of a waiting game. I do have a flexible schedule so it's easier for me to drop everything if I'm pulled off the waitlist. I've recommend Pilates to family members and one even took an intro class. However, they seemed to have changed promotions since I started and are no longer offering $0 or low enrollment fee with a 4 class pack. So unfortunately they did not gain a new customer. It's not cheap but I find that it's worth it for what I'm looking for. I highly recommend at least trying it out! read more

I purchased the 8 classes per month package and quickly found it was so hard to find classes that fit my schedule -- only learned how hard it was going to be after signing up, which was really frustrating! They kept saying to utilize the waitlist but the waitlist can be upwards of 8+ people, so it's hard to know if you'll be able to actually get in and it can be super last minute. I ended up wanting to cancel my membership. I understood I committed to 3 months, so I called in and asked what I needed to do. I was told that to avoid the $100 early cancellation penalty for not completing my 3 months, I just needed to come in by Feb 4 (my next billing cycle), so I came in before this date. In person, I was told I would be charged for February (I was a little confused by this but these memberships always seem to have loopholes but said okay, moving on) and then left. After I leave, I get a call saying that she mad a mistake and that I would be charged $100 for early cancellation. Like how? Not only contradictory to what I was told on the phone, I am now paying for 4 months and being charged an additional $100 -- have it make sense! I kept repeating myself and asking her to explain how I would be charged the early cancellation and she said she didn't know how else to explain it -- also not helpful. Also, to call and tell me after I leave? Feels really dishonest! I feel like it has potential to be a great place but they need more time slots for classes and flexibility in how the 4 and 8 class options are set up, along with more transparency with the membership. Edit: Management did reach out and confirmed that I did not have to pay the $100 early cancellation, it was an error made by a newer employee. I appreciate the follow-up! read more

I love the Maple Valley Club Pilates location. I've been a member for over six months now and I am so obsessed. I've notice a difference in my strength and flexibility and my body is more toned. I have scoliosis and a lower spinal fusion and decided at the tail end of COVID to try Pilates. Club Pilates is my spot! I stopped going for a while after an accident and am happy to be back at it again and with some great new instructors. Pia and Jalena (sp?) are my new favorites! I found Club Pilates on Facebook- they were advertising a "try-it-out" session. I had to see what it was all about! I have never looked back! I became a member that day and love every class I get to attend. Being a woman of a certain age, I have been fighting all the normal things a sexagenarian has to deal with. Club Pilates -Maple Valley has made a big difference in my quality of life. My balance and flexibility is drastically improved. My confidence level and comfort-ability around getting out and Do'ing Stuff - alone or with friends and family is wonderful. The staff, both instructors and admins, are kind, friendly, professional and just lovely people to interact with. The studio is a judgement free zone! You can workout, ask questions, laugh a little and feel extraordinary about doing something positive for yourself! I gave this review only 4 stars, not because of the atmosphere, but because of some of the fee policies. I opted for the Unlimited Membership. By paying a little more a month, I can book classes much further out than the Basic Membership, (which I love and is well worth the money). But with that perk comes responsibility. If you commit to a class and you cannot attend, you MUST cancel your seat 12 hours before the class start time. If you don't, or can't, there is a $20 fee charged to your credit card on file. No exceptions. I was 4 minutes tardy canceling once and got charged. There is zero wiggle room. The reasoning behind the fees was explained to me like this - because there are only 12 reformers in the studio, if you are not going to attend they want other members to have the ability to take your seat. The waitlist per class is sometimes 11 or 12. (Same size as the class holds). I completely understand the purpose of the rule. It just hurts financially. As an older human, I can go to bed feeling wonderful and wake up with an issue. If my class is at 9:00am, $20 fee. I am a senior software engineer that manages production enterprise systems for fortune 100 companies, if I have a critical system failure I cannot leave the customer's side to attend my Pilates class. I have not been lucky enough to have an outage happen 12 hours before my class start time. It never works that way. I wish there was a better method to align the membership participation in classes to the absenteeism. The late cancelation fee doesn't correct the problem. It just puts the cost of being healthier at a premium. I would strongly suggest ownership consider a smaller cancelation window, 12 hours feels extreme. The membership is very event driven by the waitlist methodology, that part works well. Punishing the members with extra fees is the part that doesn't work. I want to conclude this review by saying I LOVE THIS STUDIO! The people, the atmosphere, the professionalism, the equipment and the studio cleanliness are all fabulous! If you are on the fence, you should come in and try a class. read more

Great studio with outstanding instructors. I've been attending for more than two years now and I continue to be challenged.

I joined in December thinking that this was going to be a way for me to become stronger and focused on my personal self. Unfortunately the business plan here is not accommodating. I feel like there are so many people who want to do pilates but not enough classes to accommodate everyone. The wait list does not work for me. I've been on a few wait lists only to be disappointed at not getting into a class when I've planned on it. Then there was a time when I received a call asking if I wanted to come for a class where I was waitlisted and I had already made plans (since I was #7 on the wait list). I am retired which allows me to attend morning classes but even those are impacted as stated above. I can understand the evenings are jammed by the after work crowd but this is very frustrating having to wait and then as in my case, losing credits because they do not carry over from month to month. When I worked with a personal trainer yrs. ago, my $ carried over and I could use it for either more or less sessions per month because I was already charged for them. Not so at Club Pilates. I'm not happy with this system. read more

It's a great place to get an effective workout whatever your level of fitness is. It's only my first few classes but it's been such a positive experience so far. I feel really good after each class and learning the fundamentals and level of correction each of the instructors make. They are very encouraging which I think it's great especially for a beginner like myself. I love it and would like to keep going! I'm so glad I'm finally doing Pilates! Excellent instructions provided in detail that enables one to experience a full body core muscle building workout. The instructors speak in a pleasant voume that allows me to hear without straining. What I appreciate the most is that the instructors can describe a different way to do something if I am unable to do the exercise. An added bonus, is that there is plenty of parking and Starbucks is a next door neighbor. read more

I love this place. I joined for me and am stronger, more flexible and have better balance than I ever have. The club is small and sometimes it is hard to get in so you need to reserve farther out but if you reserve as soon as you have a credit available then you can usually get in. I wish there were 6am classes every day instead of just a z it is such a great way to start my day! The instructors here are so nice and professional. They are really good at adding modifications so you can make it harder or easier if you need to. And, added benefit, the people that go to class are great so you feel very comfortable working out with them. read more

LOVE! I grew up going to your basic gym. I always struggled with motivation and instruction or modifications of specific workouts. I absolutely love how the instructors modify YOU to use the muscles needed, even in a large class. It's like having a private instructor! And let me tell you, I have never seen results like I've seen in the past year of being a member. I have fallen in love with Pilates and feel that it has sincerely changed my life for the better. Friendly people and great instructors. I have a monthly membership with 8 credits and as soon as my monthly renewal goes through I try to book all 8, and am only able to get confirmation on about 4. The waitlist does often open up, but not until the day of so it's a bit hard to plan around. It's easier to book with an unlimited membership, but that does cost more. read more

This location is great (haven't been to any others to be fair). There is a nice variety of teacher's each with a bit different style so gives a good variety, and they are all knowledgeable and supportive. The front desk staff is excellent and studio is always clean and inviting. read more

I have been a member since the studio opened. It is a positive and encouraging environment with excellent and helpful instructors. I also work out at another gym with a lot of cardio and weight lifting and pilates is the perfect compliment. I have lower back and hip issues and I can tell a MAJOR difference in my pain and tolerance of doing activities that normally aggravate my back and hips since doing pilates. All in all I would say it's awesome and I would highly recommend. The 4 stars is because of the scheduling. Sometimes it is very difficult to get in to a class. There was a time when there would be no classes on a Saturday or Sunday. I'm pretty sure this was due to an instructor shortage and it has improved but I think there could still be more consistency with the schedule. For me personally, my schedule is all over the board so I like the variery of not always having the same kind of class at the same time every day but adding a few more would be great! Also, there is a 12 hour cancelation policy. This is excessive. I think 8 hours would be much easier for members and way more reasonable. read more

I love Club Pilates! I moved from Texas in June of 2023, where I also was a Club Pilates member. The instructor's are fabulous and I have continued to increase the number of classes I attend. Made an appointment for an intro class then received a cancellation notification at 5:29p. Unable to respond as I was at work I call to ask about cancellation and ask if I can confirm. Instead of just confirming manager creates a hostile conversation by stating "we time stamp everything, if we do not receive a call or text to confirm we cancel." I explain to her more than one time I cannot answer the phone while at work but do respond quickly via text. I ask her why she cannot just confirm and repeats that they cancel if no response. With a text coming in at 5:29p that leaves no time to respond especially if you get off at 5:30p. She disregarded what I said even after explaining I do work in healthcare so cannot answer the phone while there. Instead of being understanding she just hangs up. I call back asking for the manager as I do not appreciate just being hung up on and she says "I am the manger." For a place that promotes exercise and self care this is no way to treat potential clients/members. Phone etiquette can use some work as well as customer service read more
