I was having a hard time finding someone to replace the battery in my laptop. The prices were…read moreoutrageous and the wait time for service to be completed was weeks. The big box store where I bought the laptop informed me that I had to supply the battery myself and they were backed up so I was looking at a few weeks for replacement! Frustrated I contacted Certified Laptop Repair and scheduled to bring in the laptop. I met with George and he couldn't have been kinder or more professional! I brought in the laptop and and not only was the battery replaced but George called me back within a few days to come pick up the laptop! It runs like new again! I was shocked at the price and even told George that I had expected to pay much more than he charged! They even disposed of some old electronics that I didn't know what to do with. I've since canceled my Geek Squad membership and Certified Laptop Repair will now be my go to for any issues that should arise with our computers in the future!

I was seriously considering dumping Old Lights-Out Sticky Keys and buying something new. I don't like to toss things that might still have value, so I took it in to WGA. They showed me their "menu pricing" brochure, and I was astounded. For around one-fifth what I was going to spend on a NEW laptop they: * Bench tested the beast * Did a diagnostic scan and removed a bunch of crud * Provided AND installed a NEW larger, faster, more handsome hard drive * Copied over ALL my files * Cleaned six years of filth and schmoogg from the innards. And the outards. * Got me back on the road in about 18 hours, start to finish. I sure wish more people offered such great service; the landfills of the planet would be less full, our collective pockets and purses would be more full, and Dean and Norm at WGA would be even busier than they already are. Thanks for some superb service. They do a whole bunch of other things, too, but repair is all I've experienced so far. (They have three different levels of pricing, too: cheapest is you bring it there, drop it off. Next, they'll come out to YOU, do the proper shut-down, all that, take it in for the repairs and bring it back to your casa for full restoration to service. So my third call was Computer Crisis in Avon and wow, picked up the phone right away, got me on the schedule later that evening. That alone spoke volumes. A guy named James came out, figured out what the problem was, unplugged everything for me and took it into their Avon storefront. I opted for the upgraded repair option because the computer was about 7 years old. He installed Windows 11 on it for me and got everything backed up and transferred for me. Had the computer back to me the following evening and showed me how to use the new operating system. 5 star service and now I got a new computer service company that's local to north ridgeville ohio. Not a lot of places out here and most of them are cell phone repair. Highly recommend!
