6/26/20 The dog park is closed until July 9, 2020. The area itself looks very nice. However, we were greeted by an aggressive dog that bit my puppy on his ear. There was an older gentleman with two male dogs sitting outside of the dog area. He has an older shepherd mix dog that did not seem happy to see Kane. With the dog area closed we just enjoyed the green grass and the shade trees.

So much grass and space to run!

Loved this park! I've had so many bad experiences at dog parks - people bringing aggressive dogs, humper dogs, not picking up poop, etc etc. I brought my Aussie mix Hank and he made quick friends with the fantastic group of dogs that was there on a rare, breezy Saturday morning. Poop in general seemed to be picked up well, the separate smaller yard provided a great space for smaller, or timid dogs, and there is a huge space for ball throwing! I also really loved the chairs set up under the trees and other spots around the yard, making for a great hangout for owners while their dogs play. Poop bags are provided, a pooper scooper is provided, and there are plenty of water buckets around and a water fountain for humans. Awesome space! :: five paws ::

I came here last night for the Death Cab for Cutie show and was surprised by how big it was. Multiple green fields for food vendors, cocktails stations, and a fairly large staging area. Being right off the freeway is a definite bonus when trying to combat the masses after the show was over. I need to come back during the day and really scope out the picnic situation here, but that won't be anytime soon, because I lay my head in Vegas. Peace out Phoenix!

Ted has been a member of our family for just over 2 months. He has been great with the neighborhood dogs so we thought it was time to go to the dog park. We were immediately greeted by a couple of very large, very sweet Labs. From that moment on, Ted was in heaven! When we initially arrived, there were only 3 dogs there, but soon after there were about 8 additional dogs to play with. All the dogs were very nice and well behaved, as were their parents :) There are lots garbage cans, plenty of benches, and many shade trees. This is a great place; can't wait to go back!

Running and not having to worry about hitting anyone as there is tons of room.

There are a few bag stations for poop and a warer station at the top of the hill towards the entrance.

I recently came to this park after being told rave things from other parks I have visited with my…read morelabrador. I went into 2 of the 4 different areas, and will try to break it down as best as I can. Water Park Area: Now, my biggest pet peeve in dog parks is when owners don't clean up after their pets. There was dogs pooping all over the place, and the owners just left it there. I said something to a couple of people, but they said "someone" will take care of it. Otherwise, the water is stale and recycled, which means it isn't the cleanest. BRING SHAMPOO! Your dog must be washed before leaving that park, and they do have an area to clean them up at. Also, if your dogs don't get along with others, DO NOT BRING THEM THERE. WE DON'T NEED SUPER AGGRESSIVE ANIMALS AT THIS PARK. The water isn't too bad, but my dog loved being in there. I really hope they clean it more often, as I've heard that during the summer it gets really rank in there. Large dog dry land: Now the place just adjacent to the water park is a great little running area. I really like how they have different areas for the dog to do agility training. Like the water park area, this was littered heavily with dog droppings. I really hope people will please start cleaning after themselves. Overall: I did like this park A LOT. I just hope there is more control over these people. I would like to know who runs the volunteers, I can help with this in any capacity.

Our usual dog park is closed for renovations, so we Yelped the next closest dog park to take our…read morepups and came across Crossroads Park. The dog park is tucked in behind AZ ICE Gilbert. The park offers two sections: one for small dogs and one for big dogs. We have two big huskies, so we took them to the big dogs area. It's nothing fancy, but it's open and has plenty of space for our pups to run around. There's a few benches with shade and a water station. There weren't many dogs when we arrived, but this was in May, so it was already pretty hot. We stayed for almost an hour, just enough to let our pups get some energy out without getting too hot. We will be back!
