They don't do shoe repair 3-4-25. Though the sign says they do, the lady says they don't, just sewing.

Walked in to get new taps on a pair of high heels and was told that they don't do those kinds of repairs. When in comes to shoes, don't bother. They could be good for tailoring but could not recommend them. read more

Miracle Working Mom and Pop!!! Not only is this couple SUPER nice, They do stellar work at a great price! I have owned a very expensive pair of leather pants for 15 years. I have never gotten skinny enough to wear them. Big boned. I decided it was worth possibly ruining them to see if they could be altered. This was a very difficult alteration. Very thick leather, adding leather on the side seams and 2 waist band extensions. Most would have said it was not worth tackling. I just picked them up and they are gorgeous. The quality of the work is impeccible! I can finally get some use out of this investment! Take your business to this fine couple. They will make you very happy! read more

I had two polo shirts altered here: the sleeves needed to be shortened and the lower hem raised. They said it would take a week; I said I needed them sooner than that, and they told me to come back in 4 days. I did, and they had the shirts ready. $20 for each shirt - I don't know if that was expensive or not, but they definitely did a good job; the shirts look great. read more

They are limited to what they can alter due to their equipment and materials. Went twice and was told they couldn't fix or alter what i had . Went to another altering business they did it no problem. Nothing against the folks they look like nice people but i wont be going back anymore after seeing what equipment other altering businesses have. read more

I took 2 pairs of my very favorite shoes to this shop in hopes that they could repair the heels. I'd worn them down to the nail and I thought they would probably have to be thrown away. After a gentle scolding (very endearing) about how badly my shoes were worn and how dangerous it was for me to continue to wear them in such a bad condition, the gentleman in charge of shoe repairs took my shoes and a mere $35 of my money and asked me to come back for the shoes in 5 days. I picked up the shoes today and he really went above and beyond in his repair service. Not only did he replace the heel tips, he also patched up a gash in the side of one of the shoes...which was not something I even asked for him to do. The shoes were polished and looked as close to new as possible after 2+ years of abuse. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of a shoe repair and I will certainly go back. The price seems about right and the service was quick and thorough. I couldn't be more pleased! read more

I'm torn on whether to give them an extra star only because I *think* they might have overcharged me slightly, and they didn't even have me try on my pieces after they were altered. Nevertheless, they did an absolutely wonderful job altering two skirts that needed to be taken in (yeah!). Both were lined and had somewhat challenging construction (one is a tulip skirt and the other had some weird seams with pleats). I don't typically get my clothes tailored, so I am not sure how much something like this costs. It seems to be a family run business with an older couple running things, so maybe they needed to charge a little more; although their business seemed to be doing fairly well, since they had quite a few pieces waiting to be altered. Anyway, the cost for the alteration of both skirts was $38, which isn't too bad, especially since they did such a good job. It's up in the air if I'll go back again. I may check out some other alteration shops before deciding if this place is the best fit for me. P.S.: Okay, I'll give them 3.75 stars! read more

I took my husband's Italian suit pants to this place in a desperate attempt to get the hole in the back of them patched with a two-day turnaround. I wasn't even sure if it could be done; the hole was pretty bad. However, the lady took a look at them and said she thought she could do it, and by the next day as well! She charged me $20 which I thought was a great price given the short notice and how bad the rip was. Sure enough, the next day I got a call from her saying she had repaired the pants and they were ready. She did such a great job, too; you can't even tell there was ever a rip. I'll be bringing all my alteration and repair needs here from now on! read more

I brought in a pair of jeans to have the zipper replaced. When i wore them next, i realized that the bottom button was coming away from the jeans and that seam was suddenly ripped when it wasn't before. I live in San Diego and I drop the jeans off my last day in Phoenix before I went home. It wasn't until I was back home in San Diego that I realized that the seam was ripped, so I called back to ask if there was anything they could do to help me because they had obviously ripped it because it wasn't broken before and she denied having anything to do with it. Now I'm going to have to pay two times the amount to take it to a new alterations in San Diego to have them fix the seam she ripped. I would only suggest this place if you will be able to bring it back to have them fix whatever they break in addition to what they fixed that was already broken. read more

This is a mom and pop shop and the mom and pop who run this little operation are super nice!!. They both came out to greet me, gave me a detailed analysis of what they are going to do and what the end result will be. They have a coupon on their site for first timers and trust me, it came in handy. Not because of the prices, which are very reasonable, but because I had so many items: a pair of suede boots and 4 pair of jeans that needed to be taken in. My total came up to $84...AWESOME!! I took in a pair of $150 leather dress shoes which I really like. I used them so much that I wore a hole in one of the soles and the heals were worn. I was quoted $75 to repair and it was at first a difficult decision since I could pick up a brand new pair for twice the price of repair. But for the soles being worn the rest of the shoes were in perfect condition. So I went ahead and got them repaired. Picked them up this morning and was thrilled at the condition! They did a very nice job. Will definitely use again. read more

I had a zipper replaced in a pair of men's jeans do for v$18.00. I was happy to find this place. Nice older couple that own it.

This is a mom-and-pop shop ... .I believe the wife does the tailoring and the husband does the shoe repair. All I know is that I brought my favorite black peep-toe shoes in hoping for a miracle and he did an absolutely wonderful job. My shoes were in AWFUL condition (which just as another reviewer got, I received a mild and endearing scolding for how awful I let my shoes become!! haha) and he wasn't 100% sure he would be able to fix them. Let's just say, he worked a miracle. I had worn the rubber piece of my heels down to the nail and the soles were a mess. For $65, he fixed both of them and completely cleaned up the worn parts of the leather. They looked absolutely beautiful and I'm wearing them now :) I thought they were going to have to be tossed (which I was hesitant to do because girls - you know how hard it is to find shoes you love and are comfortable!!!) and now I don't have to!!! read more

They are wonderful, extremely skilled. Prices are very fair. My husband takes all kinds of projects, knowing exactly what he wants, and they always make him happy (Velcro to tighten ski jacket cuffs, stitching his favorite phone case, refurbishing his 10 year old loafers several times to name a few). read more
