Anyway, I've taken no less than 5 cars to Pinelands over the years. The most recent was a repair to my Lotus Elise. In order, they've previously fixed for me a Dodge Stratus, Ford Escape, Volkswagen CC and my daughters Toyota Yaris. On one occasion, I needed to take a car back to re-spray a passenger door (CC). They prioritized the job, provided a rental during the 3 days it took and in my opinion, did the right thing. The mark of a great company isn't how it responds when things go right, but instead, do they do the right thing when "stuff happens". In my experience, they always do. The work is first rate, they are honest, deliver on promises and are a pleasure to work with. Can't ask for more than that. Jim Hughes

Glen was so easy to work with and the guys in the shop did a wonderful job with the repairs. When I got my car back it was as good as new and cleaner inside and out than when I brought it in.

I had a recent experience with Lamon that was completely unacceptable. I brought my car in after…read morehaving a mild parking lot fender bender. The original estimate was for $3800 ( which i thought was on the high side.) Well , by the time Lamon was finished, they had submitted 3 extra supplemental requests to my insurance company, and brought the new claim all the way up to $13,000! I strongly believe that they created additional work just so they could make more money. When I addressed my concerns to the sales rep, they explained that they " need to make money" and the only area that they can accomplish this goal is thru additional labor charges. When i dropped my car off, i told them that i needed to return the car as the lease was expiring. They estimated completion within 8 days. As it turned out, they had the car in for "repairs" for over 5 weeks. They even put in a last minute supplemental request to the insurance company 2 days before i was expecting to pick up the car. I was put in the uncomfortable position to have to call my insurance company to expedite this last repair approval. In essence, my car was being held hostage pending this last payment. While the quality of the work was satisfactory, the overall experience was very disturbing. I will never bring a car into Lamon in the future.

And I've been telling the same dad joke - "that was the most expensive burrito I've ever eaten!" since. Anyways, after locking in to my detective skills to ID the culprit, his insurance handled my claim. Now as with many insurance agencies they have their preferred shops that they guarantee the body work for life, or someone can choose their own with no such guarantees. Yall know how I feel about my car - or at least you should by now - so I was only going to go somewhere that does great work on MINIs, preferred shop or not. A guy in one of my MINI enthusiast groups recommended Di Eva so I went for it (This is also how I discovered there was a Raisin Canes in south Jersey. Btdubs, I went again yesterday and it was fire as uze). I just got my car back yesterday and the bumper, panels, and paint match are next level. My biggest concern is that it would look like a Frankenvehicle with mismatched parts, dull paint, odd fittings. But it looks like a new car from the back. I'm over the moon! And as an added surprise, they were able to get my sunroof to close! I may or may not have been riding around with a tarp that I have to put on in case it rains smh. I think that says a lot about this shop - real craftsfolk won't be satisfied calling a job complete if something else is not quite right. I really appreciate them for taking this extra step. There was a 2 week wait to get started on the car - and then I pushed that date back by another 10 days or so due to work. Once they had it though it took 3 1/2 weeks to complete - some of which was spent ordering parts. I had a rental paid for by The Other Guy so hey - take your time. The break from buying premium gas was awesome. All in all, I'm really happy with the work - 1000% worth the drive. Disclaimer: I've had the car back for 24 hours and reserve the right to update this review. But for now, the car looks awesome!
