I had a recent experience with Lamon that was completely unacceptable. I brought my car in after having a mild parking lot fender bender. The original estimate was for $3800 ( which i thought was on the high side.) Well , by the time Lamon was finished, they had submitted 3 extra supplemental requests to my insurance company, and brought the new claim all the way up to $13,000! I strongly believe that they created additional work just so they could make more money. When I addressed my concerns to the sales rep, they explained that they " need to make money" and the only area that they can accomplish this goal is thru additional labor charges. When i dropped my car off, i told them that i needed to return the car as the lease was expiring. They estimated completion within 8 days. As it turned out, they had the car in for "repairs" for over 5 weeks. They even put in a last minute supplemental request to the insurance company 2 days before i was expecting to pick up the car. I was put in the uncomfortable position to have to call my insurance company to expedite this last repair approval. In essence, my car was being held hostage pending this last payment. While the quality of the work was satisfactory, the overall experience was very disturbing. I will never bring a car into Lamon in the future. read more

Great small business that worked with me to get things fixed! They explained what exactly needed to be fixed, why, and even gave me options.

My car got rammed by a deer. I dropped my car off there and never heard from them for 3 weeks. I called and had to make an an appointment to pick up my car. Fine. The work is well done. Unfortunately, they left my car unlocked and the entire interior got ruined. I had a mounted gooseneck car charger, cables, 15 CDs, Bluetooth adapter, rear view mirror GPS mount, and face masks stolen from their parking lot. And it gets worse! I keep a LOCKED toolbox, full of emergency supplies, like flashlights, gloves, hats, 3 sleeping bags, binoculars, and matches. The box alone is heavy. Someone smashed it open, like a coconut and took all of it. Then they picked up all of the broken plastic pieces and put it in the trunk. None of this stuff was visible to the outside! Whoever took this, had a lot of time to rummage through my car and help themselves. When I saw this, the staff was confused as to why I was upset. To shut me up, they gave me a check for $75. It's not just that my stuff was stolen, but the total casual indifference by the staff was appalling. I am now uncomfortable driving because my car was left unsecured on their property, despite there being a homeless encampment nearby. I worry about parking and the thieves try to get back in my car. read more

I brought my car to Lamon as part of an insurance claim. I could not be happier with the service there. Lamon communicated w my insurance company and made the whole process very easy. The staff at Lamon was helpful and friendly. When my car was done, it looked fantastic, they did great work. I hope I don't need more repairs anytime soon, but if I do Lamon will be the first place I call. read more

Customer service here is one of the best beyond doubt.. From the moment you walk in they make you feel welcomed fretted with a prompt smile.. They keep you up to date on your vehicle repairs by calling everyday to let you know where your repair stands also send you text messages letting you know completion time. The work done on the vehicle was flawless and completed quickly. Brought my vehicle in on Tuesday morning and was done Friday afternoon. They even detail the inside of your which was a nice added bonus!!! They left nothing untouched and have earned my business in the future and will be highly recommended by me.. Horrible. Do not bring your car here. I am not someone to write reviews but my experience taking my car to this auto body shop was horrible. Someone hit my car and I took it here for repairs. When my mom initially dropped my car off they were pretty rude but we didn't think anything of it. My car was there for a few weeks and when I went to pick up my car the woman at the front desk wouldn't let me pay or take it. I did not know this but since the car was under my moms name my mom had to physically be there to get the car herself... very understandable. but the lady at the desk was acting as if I should have known this and was being soo mean. my mom is a single mother and works non stop so she did not have time to get the car herself (especially since they closed at 5pm). The woman working at the front desk is so unbelievably rude especially considering I was a customer paying for their services. She should honestly be fired. She is giving this auto body shop a horrible reputation. I work in customer service and could not imagine treating a customer like that. When my mom brought the car home there was obvious oil stains all over the inside of my car. My car is a light tan on the inside and there was black stains all over the floor in the backseat and on the seatbelts. The top of the seatbelt was also broken and was sticking up out of place. My front passenger window is broken as well. When I try to put it up it just keeps doing down, it takes a while for it to completely go up. I never had any of these issues or stains until I got my car back from the shop. The external damage from the accident was fixed. But the car came home with more issues from when I initially dropped it off! I am very meticulous about my car and always keep it clean and in good condition, so I immediately noticed these issues. This just shows the shop does not care about the condition of the customers cars. I have never had an auto body shop experience like this. I will forever regret bringing my car here. read more

I had to have my passenger rear view mirror fixed after it was torn off by another car door during a windy day. Pure accident. Anyway, it all went thru Geico, and this was the EASIEST procedure one could ask for. Friendly? Absolutely, in person, email and phone. Getting the rental was easy too. I have been very pleased with their work both times. There was a minor issue from the first time but they fixed this without question. I got into an accident, and This place was registered with Geicko. Sooooo helpful!!! I had general questions about my Jeep Wrangler and the guy estimating my car helped me and showed me a bunch of sites for it- which was completely unrelated to my accident. They gave me text updates and it was ready 3 days before they estimated it would be! My car looked great, was washed, and I was so happy with the service and rental car they gave me!! read more

The location is very convenient, personalized customer service, great partnership with Geico, and most of all quality work. I was recently in an accident and Geico referred me to Lamon Auto Body for the repair and the Enterprise shop attached for my rental. Geico advised that the entire process of dropping off my vehicle and obtaining a rental would take 30 minutes. It did! Kathy at Lamon could not be friendlier or more efficient. I was pleased with my rental from Enterprise as well. The repair was done in a timely manner and they even washed and dusted my car! I was kept up to date throughout the whole process and would definitely recommend this shop to anyone I know. read more

The absolute worst place I have ever been to. You would be better off going to the local zoo and getting answers from the monkeys then this place. First off their is no communication between the garage that does the work and the office you call to be informed about your car. I called this place a zillion of times to get information about my car. The answers I received were either oh I just answer phones I don't have any information about your car or oh that person is out to breakfast or lunch. I'm glad that they are so efficient with their work that they have plenty of time for breaks. To top it off they don't call back. I had to call them every two hours until I was able to reach someone who knew something about my car. Be careful to when they tell you your car is ready to come home!! After going through their process of setting up a time to get my car and them trying to defer me to pick it up Monday instead of the weekend because of course I don't work or I just love my rental so much I rather pay for it a couple more days then get my car. A small tid bit of information they left out when I got to this auto body shop from hell. After paying after having some office worker tell me my car will be right around some young kid comes in and says oh it needs to be towed out of here. Yes towed out of here. This unimportant information they just so conveniently left out. So needless to say I had to deal with these **** four more days to get an answer of why it had to be towed and trying to communicate with them why I was so frustrated only to receive lip back from them which just makes the whole experience worst. So to any one thinking about going to this place do your self a favor and drive by it.
