Most recently, Josh and his team of technicians replaced my factory head-unit with the latest Kenwood floating screen model. It was a complex install that included steering wheel controls, a hands-free phone system, satellite radio, and multiple cameras. They had done something similar for me on a previous vehicle so I was confident they would deliver great results again, and they definitely did so. ok im gonna try to structure my review as well as i can so that its easier to read and not just a "drunk pissed off text" TLDR i will not be returning here for anything related to them installing, setting up, prepping etc. I would still recommend people to purchase items here. there is nothing wrong with the products them self just simply the hands installing it are not up to my standards for a paid instillation. the "long did read" version. i have a 2021 Subaru Impreza sport hatchback i wanted a 12" sub and didn't want to necessarily cheap out so i got a $1400 subwoofer and paid them to install and get an amp my bill was nearing $1800 after everything. I was pumped for the sub to be installed so i can finally get some bass in my subi do to the fact it has almost none stock. i had spoke to josh and he helped me narrow down my options when i went in to look for the one i wanted, customer service was awesome (so i thought). when it was all said in done i scheduled a appointment with them to drop my car off with them. it took them from 9AM-4:45 PM when they called me to let me know it was done in my head i was really hopeful that the reason it took them so long was they were not cutting corners or making sure it looked nice or what ever the reason i was excited. and it did look pretty damn good i mean the box looks sweet amp was tucked behind the box and the little deal on the side looks kind of cool in my opinion. the problem isn't looks, its purely the was it was set up and the way they responded when i brought up that it was fucked up so i got it installed on a Saturday. it worked awesome, bass was awesome, it was fucking awesome. the next day i didn't even drive my car due to me being at my house the hole day. Monday morning i drove to work and noticed that there was a pop every so often and the sub would only sometimes be on/ working when i got to work i had a buddy connect to my car and play music as i watched the sub/amp. i noticed that when the sub stopped the little red light on the deal to the right would also go out. so i called quality auto sound. well they are closed on Mondays and they don't listen/check voicemails so i had to just wait till Tuesday to call them. i call them at 9:30 AM on Tuesday and tell them that the amp is fucked up and that i want to drop it off for them to figure out why the fuck it isn't working. i had to have my buddy drop off the car for them to look at it yesterday and he told me that when he dropped it off the guy at the front made a joke about how lucky i am that i got a warranty. he also told me about how he had overheard that they also scratched up another guys classic car and screwed that one up too. today i get a call 9:30 am or so and basically they started off by trying to say that the guys in the back think i fucked with the amp and that i must have been the reason that it wasn't working right so i told them that if i knew how to fuck with it why the fuck would i have had them install it? (still trying my hardest to be polite) and they basically told me that they ran the system and they had absolutely no problems with it at all and i told them to please keep looking because i know damn well there was something fucking wrong. they call me back around 10:20 40 minutes later and repeat that i must have been the problem and then told me that the amp might have been set too high and yada yada they lowered the amp and are hoping that will solve my issue that they never found. im going to be picking it up later after i get off of work and i sure fucking hope that it is fixed i will follow up on this post in a few days to ensure the issue is fixed. if it isn't I'm returning the sub and amp and finding somewhere else that they have someone competent enough to to there job or own up to a fault when it happens i seriously wouldn't be this mad if i even got a I'm sorry or "drop it off so we can fix this mistake" or literally anything all i want to say is seriously read these other reviews i also am someone that tries to give people benefit of the doubt but seriously consider all of your options when deciding on how you will be getting it installed or where you get it done. i have never written a review before but i felt it was necessary to write this one (btw yes I'm upset now but at the time i still was nice and respectful when i spoke to them) read more

I had a QAS install a system a couple years ago (I decided to shop local), but cheaped out on the sound deadening in the back seat. A couple of rattles have developed since then, so I called QAS to get a rough idea of what it would cost to finish the sound deadening. The guy on the phone obviously did not want to talk to me. He said "I don't know" a lot, and just kept saying "bring it in". (QAS, if you read these, and if you care, the phone conversation was with whoever answered the phone around 3pm on 1/12/23). When I pushed for a rough estimate, he said $500. That seemed awfully high to me, so I called Best Buy. They were more than happy to give me a quote (rough estimate). The labor is $50/hr. and they estimated $100 for the materials. Again, I was just looking for an idea of what to plan for, and they also said it would be best to bring it in, but they at least acted interested in my business. I wish I would have gone to Best Buy to get the system installed in the first place, and would recommend them over Quality Auto Sound on every day of the week that ends with Y. read more

Walked up to the store and right before the entrance is a huge sign requiring proof of Vax and masks. Bunch of Woke asswipes. Walked away and gave my $100's of dollars to Car Toys like I had before. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!!! No I don't work here but I'll never go anywhere else. We've been coming here for years because they came so highly recommended by some friends who had a really nice stereo system in their car. They have great products and they install right there. This is nice because if there was a problem they are one stop shopping. If you go, ask for David or Josh the manager. They are very cool guys. They always remember what it's like to be a customer and when I have concerns they are cool enough to give me the low down on deals. It feels like I'm their cousin and they are giving me the inside scoop. They probably treat everyone great but I certainly felt like a vip and I only bought a simple dvd player. You know how you always hear of a Spanish speaking friend who "has a guy" for tires or for electronics, etc?...well these guys are "my guys" for a great car stereo and equipment. The location is really good too, right there on 10th Street by the police station kind of. Don't go anywhere else. I can't speak for all quality auto sounds but this place is super cool. If you go to best buy you get some geek kid who sells you some crap that best buy wants to move off the shelf. Quality auto sound in Greeley is not like that, they ask you what you're looking for and then match you with what works best. Case in point, they had much better units to sell me but they asked about my life and learned I had kids and suggested a unit that was more robust and it was. There was one minor issue and I brought it in and they taught me how to get past it without any pressure to buy a better unit or rip me off in a warranty. I come all the way from longmont to go to this place, that's how awesome Josh the manager is. Anyway the place is great, go and see for yourself. I hate going to car toys so I thought I would try this place. Its a local shop close to my house. I went in to see about having a deck installed that I removed from a previous vehicle. I was told it would be 85 bucks to put it in which seems high but I understand they have to make their money as im not buying a deck from them. Then I get handed off to what I assume is the manager then he says 85 plus 220.00 in parts as I need a special harness. I just searched this "special harness" and found it online for 6.00 dollars. Just another scam I suppose but I had hoped for something better. read more

This place is awesome. They installed a nice unit in my Tahoe, and I had some issues come up. They went through everything top to bottom. Come to find out it was because I installed led brake lights that caused the problem. They did over 4 hours work and they didn't charge me a dime. I felt so bad because it was my fault. took them a week to install the alarm in my 2011 mustang.wouldnt trust them again.they had a hard time installing it

I wanted some fuses, solenoid and wiring to connect up an auxiliary battery in my van. I know it's not an audio install but the systems are similar. I couldn't find any parts places or car places to do the install so I was just going to eBay some of this stuff and do it myself. They had all the parts I was looking for and I had them do the install for a reasonable price. The job is a very pro job. David and his guys are total pros and are careful that every step of the process is ok with you before proceeding. Great work. read more

I bought a 92 Cadillac, in Dec., Last year. It had been sitting for a couple years, had low mileage, and no cosmetic flaws. A couple months after I got it, the drivers speaker started squealing. As it was a Cadillac, I thought I would take it to a dealer, other than the Wal-mart of Auto stereo, and in my mind, Quality seemed a good option, as a high-end locally-owned business that would surely treat my Bose Stereo with the respect that the name Cadillac, and Bose commanded. They quoted me a price, of $80.00 to trouble-shoot the problem. Even though I thought that that rate was too much, my wife, who was with me, reminded me that my mechanic also recommended that I take it to them. It was also her, that asked if that price would be part of the repair charge, if I had the work done there. The guy (who I think was named Josh, and was the manager), took a second, then offered to use $40.00 against the repair, instead of the 80.00, and I agreed. I took it in on a Monday night, for a Tuesday appt, because Josh was going to be there Tues. I parked it in the lot, in front of their office, and gave them the keys, so they could get to it first thing, without waiting for me to bring it up, and they told me that they would put it inside, overnite, and I thought that was great. Next day, I went up there, and they told me the speaker was blown. In short, they told me my options were to drive around with 3 speakers, or they could install a replacement system, for $1100.00. Then they have me my speaker a bill for 80.00, plus a charge for 'shop supplies'. I wonder what the supplies were, since the only tool needed was a screw-driver, I know this, because I later sent the speaker that they gave me, to a stereo repair facility to be repaired, and was told that it was not the speaker, as it tested fine. They told me to send them the amplifier, and they could repair that. I took my screwdriver, and removed the door panel, and removed the amplifier to send in. I went to replace the door panel, and suprize, suprize, suprize; 4 of the catches, to hold the panel, were gone! I now have a beautiful sounding Bose Stereo I can listen to, and it only cost me $100.00, shipping and repair, including the shipping to and from the repair shop, of the speaker, that was supposed to be blown, and the amplifier. I have never been disrespected so badly, nor treated as incompetently, in my life, and will gladly inform anyone I hear of, wanting to get work done there! read more

I went into QAS to purchase a back up camera, LED headlights and remote start for my truck. The rep who helped me was David and he was very knowledgeable on each item I wanted to purchase. At this point the only issue I had was the first available schedule date. I thought this was a bit to wait, but this place is busy because they're good at what they do. Booked the date and dropped it off. I was told it was going to be a day and possibly half day more if needed. It ended up being a total of three days, but that was because of the assembly of the headlights and having to remove the front grill, wheel well and light assembly to get to the bulb. I get that. The day I picked it up David went through everything to show me how to operate all the new equipment and made sure I had no questions. I left and stopped somewhere and went to leave and the back up camera screen was completely white! I was furious and called the store and spoke to David. Dropped the truck off the next morning at 9:00 and as I spoke to the Manager Josh, Assisted Manager and David voicing my frustration and needing to drop my truck off again and coordinate a ride to pick me up to take me to work and how upset I was, the tech already had my truck in the back and came up and said it was a faulty mirror. They had me in and out with the replacement mirror in a matter of 20 minutes and the embarrassing call of having to cancel my ride had to take place! It wasn't on them it was a faulty mirror! The entire crew did very well and I appreciate them getting everything fixed and the daily calls with updates. read more
