Hands down the BEST performance garage in Colorado! If you have a European performance vehicle from Audi, VW, BMW, MINI, Porsche, Lotus, etc, come HERE! (I think they also service Subies but maybe they just won't admit to that online for street cred.) I buy my parts here. I bought a car from the owner. They do all my adjustments for my daily driver as well as my SCCA Solo F-Prepared MINI Cooper S. All the guys there know who I am and don't treat me different because I am a woman; most of them know me by first name on the phone, what cars I own, etc. The owner has some of the best mechanics around and is always there to help, give advice and feedback, guide us in the right direction, troubleshoot, etc. It is great to see other people who are passionate about motorsports and racing. The fact I trust these guys with my car means I would easily trust them with my life. The owner once told me he took over this place because he couldn't trust a garage and decided the best way to remedy that was to run his own. You can't argue with that! For racers (SCCA Time Trials, Time Attack, Club Racing, Solo) they offer every service possible: Corner balancing, full race support, performance parts and installation, advice, troubleshooting, ECU upgrades, and they also rent race cars as well as offer driver services. For the everyday driver they offer basic services like fluid changes, tire mount and balance, mechanical work, etc. These guys have never lied to me or steered me astray or stretched the truth to make a sale. Their shop prices for parts and labor are very reasonable and they don't round their time up or attempt things they don't know how to do (which I haven't found yet). read more

Worked with Peter to protune my 2016 STI, Great dude and super knowledgable, they are very easy to work with. I would constantly call and ask questions about my car prior to the protune. He would always work with me to answer any and all questions, and emails back were same day. The day of the protune started at 9. We finished at 6pmish, which I don't mind waiting because he perfected it. The shopped closed at 5 but I could tell he was in no rush to leave until it was perfect. The car makes insane power now and pulls like a boss, I'm glad he protuned it and will be going back whenever needed. And also I was very satisfied with the price. For a 91 tune and a separate aggressive water methanol tune, plus installation of the water/meth nozzle Only ran me $630. He charged the standard $100 an hour for 5 hours but worked well over that amount. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a safe but aggressive tune that's reliable. read more

I took my 2004 Mini Cooper to SCR recently to have it serviced. My car was running poorly and in very bad shape when I brought it to SCR. The mechanics ran diagnostics and found that I needed new tires, new spark plugs, flushes, etc. Adam was amazing. He showed me the list of everything that needed to be done and explained everything to me in a way that made sense. When I came in for service, Adam introduced me to the technician who was going to work on my car, which meant a lot to me as a consumer. Every single person I met at SCR was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and very passionate about cars. You really get a sense that these guys are at the top of the industry. Their dedication to the craft was evident in work they put into my car. I couldn't believe the difference when I got in my newly serviced car to drive home. The alignment was perfect, it ran so smoothly, and was 110% better than before. I also loved the fact that I was shown a specs sheet to see the before/after. I couldn't be happier with my experience with SCR - from the first call to after having it serviced. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend anyone to SCR. I recently brought my 01 A4 to SCR for some maintenance work and couldn't be happier with my experience there. As a former performance junkie I have developed a strong appreciation for shops that care about the cars they work on. My A4 (while it is an awesome daily driver) is no gem and I firmly believe that it received the same attention as any of the highly modified beauties that you can find parked in and around the SCR shop. Peter was extremely helpful in finding out what the issues were with my car and creating solutions to fit my budget. I can't say enough good things about this shop. They have excellent pricing, perfect techs and staff. Also very welcoming. I brought my M3 to SCR in loveland for an Epic motorsports tune but they also do non performance repairs and maintenance for other car makes and models. Absolutely terrible workmanship. This is not an exaggeration. Over 10k in drag transmission parts from jacks transmissions and it looks like they played hockey with the brand new transmission and transfer case from jacks. The drive shaft was not bolted in all the way to the transfer case and if it had come out it would have been a disaster. Work was done in complete haste. Multiple pics showing horrible workmanship, about5 bolts were not even torqued much less hand tightened. There were also multiple bolts missing. Oil pan cracked/dented. Absolutely no responsibility taken. This place is an absolute joke. Performance does not belong in the name. If you have anything but an oil change to do I highly recommend avoiding this shop. Specifically rude as well to me when I bring up the problems. I wouldn't wanna take responsibility for their huge mistake either. By the way work was done on a 685+ hp Evo. I have multiple pictures showing all of their faults. The work was clearly done in haste. This is my brothers car they worked on and they completely worked him. If you have any sort of valuable car or anything you want in "show" condition avoid this place at all costs. I could go on and on with the problems they left with this evo. I have taken my two Audi's, a Porsche, a Subaru and my present car, a BMW, over the past 5 years and not once have I been the anywhere near disappointed with my experience. They have proven to exceed all my expectations for satisfaction in services as basic as an alignment and tire mounting with their modern equipment, and with complex procedures including: engine, transmission rebuilds, performance upgrades, and car set-up. They have also provided great coaching and guidance as they are always present in any racing event that I have registered in. The prices are more than reasonable, are guaranteed to meet any and all expectations, be very honest and forthcoming in the price of jobs, and point you in the right direction with the costumer seen as the first priority - always. In my one experience where I wasn't completely satisfied with an alignment, they immediately put it on the alignment rack, fit me into their booked day, were overly apologetic, didn't ask for me to make a case for my concern, and never asked for compensation. This shop offers reasonable pricing without the expense poor customer service or work quality. read more
