I had M&J out for a quote. They walked me through what they recommend and why. They use close foam insulation and explained the pros and cons. Closed cell has a higher R rating 7 per inch whereas open has about 3.5. they even stated there was one area that they felt didn't need any additional insulation. (Who doesn't like to hear you can save $ because this area is fine). After a couple more quotes I decided to hire them for the job. They were extremely accommodating, actually coming out on a Wednesday and did an outstanding job. They had me look it over before they left to make sure I was happy. We immediately felt a difference and have been adjusting the thermostat ever since ( in a good way). I would highly recommend you hire them. You will not regret it. They definitely care about the business and the job they do. They take pride in their work and know if there was ever an issue they would take care of it. Those are rare statements this day and age unfortunately.

I had a very positive experience with Energy Savers. I was initially skeptical because there were…read morepromises and deadlines that sounded like they would be very difficult to meet. I had the entire house sided and several windows installed. Despite my concerns, everything was done very well. I know a fair bit about construction, but I have significant vision issues. Nevertheless, I had it inspected by a trusted friend who is a retired builder, and he said the workmanship was of high quality. The siding was uniformly installed with no waves along the long walls. The windows were capped and sealed with a consistency. The installers worked at a swift pace, but did maintained an attention to detail. Throughout the process, the workers were respectful and courteous, and Bill, the owner, was on-site to monitor progress and address any issues, not that there were any of great concern. The entire process was completed in three days. There were several workers going for almost 12 hours each day. The site was left clean, both inside and outside. Additionally, Bill made a couple of good suggestions regarding how the soffits meet/feed into the siding. The suggestions were great because it preserved some of the character/charm of the original appearance of the house. There was one issue with how some HVAC lines were reattached, and it was fixed immediately. As for value, I think you get what you pay for. Although the price was competitive, it was not the cheapest. With that said, overall, this was a positive experience, and I would recommend Energy Savers for siding and windows. Tom

The guys came out to inspect and gave us options and recommended a second floor unit. While it was a big financial investment we're happy with how it turned out. It ended up causing some whistling with the first floor unit, but they came out to adjust pieces, give us new vents in the walls, and make sure we were happy with the adjustments. All of their technicians were easy to work with and super courteous. They send you a text when the tech is on their way with a photo of them and a tracker which makes me feel safe if I'm ever home alone when they come. Heating and cooling is something you definitely want to get right as it impacts your everyday life!

I didn't realize until speaking with them this new style requires slightly different venting and plumbing but Anderson could oversee the whole thing. Because they handled the entire installation of my HVAC system a few years back and did a great job I knew they'd be perfect to do this install. We're loving this new system already and can't wait to see the benefits it shows over time.
