Quality fiberglass pools if I can give you 10 stars I would. So I spent about one month looking for a fiberglass pool company to come out and give me an estimate in my home. Apparently nobody does fiberglass pools in Los Angeles till I found quality fiberglass pools. I called the office. I spoke to Russ... Russ and I spent a good hour talking about fiberglass pools, pros and cons....the most knowledgeable person in regards to Pools that I've talked to. (in the month of looking for a company) Russ invited me over to there office. **This is a long review** I rated this company 3 stars due to their lack of good communication, their slow turn around time on our project, and Eric's poor project management skills. The workers were great and the products used were high quality. After reading some of the reviews below, I can see why our project took as long as it did. Eric did not give any priority or care to our project that he did with other clients. Other projects were prioritize over ours which is apparent in the review below since construction at our house started month prior to theirs. We signed our contract in May 2024, construction started in August 2024 and they barely finished our pool on March 24, 2025. I would be careful in using this company for your pool projects since they will not stay within their timeline and will not communicate that with you either. It was disappointing we spent a lot of hard earned money to build a backyard of our dreams for a company like this put us on their back burner. Below is a complete review of our project: We signed our contract for a fiberglass pool in May 15, 2024 and were told that construction would be 12 weeks from start to finish once they begin. Eric also informed us that construction would begin August and our pool would be delivered around that time. They began excavating in early August and our pool was delivered at the end of August. We expected that the pool would be completed mid November to early December according to the timeline provided by the company. Once the pool was delivered, we did not see any workers for weeks at a time, then they come and work for week then disappear again for a few more weeks before coming back to the next phase. During the entire time of construction, we would have to constantly reach out to Eric and he would provide a date of when his crew would be coming then they would not show up. We would get the excuse that they were pulled for another job and then we would have to wait for weeks at a time before they come back. Eric was not very responsive until it was time for payment. He would show up timely which we continued paying in hopes our pool would be done soon. We finally get to the January and they are ready for concrete and inspections which then ended having delays since they were either pulled to another job, weather, or we didn't pass the initial inspection. We also understood there would a delay when we requested a few changes throughout the project, however, the delay should have not be so long in between phases. We finally passed inspection mid February and Eric informed us that concrete will be poured the last week of Feb but he did not schedule concrete and didn't tell us since he thought it was going to rain. We finally had to wait another month, and poor communication from Eric before the concrete was finally poured around the pool. They finally finished our pool on March 24, 2025 and we passed our final inspection today, March 31, 2025. read more

I am pretty happy with how things worked out with Quality Fiberglass pools. It took way longer than we expected but that's mostly due to Covid I think. If it weren't for Covid, I would have honestly given them 4 stars because of the time it took and getting people showing up inconsistently. I do understand that times are tough because of supply chain issues, so often times folks working on your projects have to get diverted when the material gets delivered on another project that is behind. Having said all of that, I am extremely pleased with my pool. We had a few changes in thought after we had signed the agreement and they took them in stride with a "no problem, we can get it done!" attitude. They are true pros when it comes to fiberglass pools and their related items. The pool is of great quality, the concrete is great and the spa looks fantastic. I would do business with them again, but hopefully, when things are a bit more back to normal it wouldn't take as long! As an FYI, I signed my contract in March of 2021, work was supposed to begin in June and be done by the end of July. Work didn't begin until September and things finally finished in February of 2022. I'm not including this as a dig against them. As I said they've had legitimate logistical issues. I had a patio cover and some other work done that took way longer than expected as well. I am including this info so you can have an accurate idea of how long it could take if the logistical issues are still bad when you read this. As I said, I am very pleased overall. I am probably the happiest customer Quality Fiberglass Pools has ever had! A very professional group--I'm glad I chose them as the pool installer. They were quick, clean workers that showed up EVERY day they were scheduled, stayed all day working and no screwing around. Eric is a great hand holder for a customer that has a lot of questions wants to be involved with every step of the process. Eric said it would be 6 weeks and it was pretty close. I have put chemicals in about 3 times in 5 months--the salt machine takes care of almost everything! The reason I had to put chemicals in one of the 3 times is because a rat fell in the pool and drown EEEWWW!! Shit happen tho....Another time was because more people than normal swam and caused the PH to be a little off. There was one little snag I ran into but I do not want to tarnish their fabulous reputation so if you would like to contact me personally, I will tell you about it. From the moment we mer Eric when he came out to give us an estimate we saw the difference in him and his company. My only regret is subletting our concrete out to a different company instead of having Eric's guy do it. This company is the way to go if you decide to put a pool on your property. First of all getting a fiberglass pool is the best option for most people. A fiberglass pool does not require resurfacing like a cement pool does. The pool stays clean of algae because the surface repels growth. If you get a saltwater pool the chemical use is much less than cement surface. Quality Fiberglass pools will turn your back yard into your own private oasis. Eric was patient and thorough in the planning process, as we had just purchased our home and had multiple emergency projects to make it habitable. We slowly prepped the backyard jungle to be pool ready. At no time did Eric push us toward a decision. Eric worked well with the city permit people to get us the biggest pool we could fit in our backyard, while meeting the permit rules. QFP's employees then started the project, and worked long days to get it done asap. Our pool is exactly what I asked for - easy maintenance, simple lines, classic style for our historic home. Our pool was just finished 2 weeks ago and we are extremely happy and impressed with the quality workmanship and the polite and professional people that were involved throughout. It was a 12-14wk ongoing process but was more than worth it once we saw the finished product!!! We went with additional concrete (stamped around the pool), an upgraded variable speed pump that is extremely efficient and keeping our new pool crystal clear, a high quality vacuum and the Crystite finish for the fiberglass shell which looks absolutely beautiful and LED color changing lights which make it look like a a hotel or resort in the evening! We have already received huge compliments from everyone who's seen it. All of this at an extremely affordable price, in addition to the fiberglass having so many additional features and benefits over concrete. My wife and I decided to have a pool installed and contacted Quality Fiberglass Pools on highway 74 in Riverside County, CA. We had previously had a gunite pool installed at a prior home and it was great, however, the maintenance/upkeep of our new fiberglass pool is minimal and we love it. The pool was completed in the first part of 2018. Eric was the person that we contracted with and he was very thorough with our questions and with helping us to select the right pool for our needs. The build out was 4 times faster then our prior gunite pool and I have to say that every employee that participated in the installation was professional, courteous and knowledgeable with the different skill sets required for an in ground pool. We were also very impressed with the work ethic of the installation team...no slackers by any means...they show up and it's work time. We were amazed at the efficiency and we have post installation support that is awesome. Our phone calls are answered and Eric is always available. As is Russ who was great as well. I was and am happy with the pool and was told all was finalized...but recently I wanted to have some more work done and discovered my final County permits for the pool were never signed off, which means I cannot move forward on other projects. . Eric was very helpful and responsive any time we called to ask question, provided a lot of options and never tried to upsell anything we didn't want. Recently my husband and I got the opportunity to sit down with Russ at quality fiberglass pools. My husband and I decided that we would like to put a pool in our backyard, so we showed up to quality fiberglass pools without an appointment. Russ greeted us promptly and was extremely friendly and professional but with a very at home atmosphere. he invited us in the office and sat down with us and answered all of our millions of questions. He is very knowledgeable in his product and never rushed us, and more importantly never rushed us into making a decision that day. We were at the office for a good hour and he offered to show us a pool he had on-site. We ended up leaving with all the information in hand and continued to think about installing the pool. Eric, which is Russ's son-in-law that has been working for the company for the last 15 years called us and we set an appointment to have him come out and give us an estimate, and of course answer more questions. Eric called us day of appointment to confirm we were still meeting and he arrived on time if not early. He was very professional and knowledgeable in the product and explained the process step by step. Eric never rushed us and was not in a big hurry to leave, he took his time with us and we really appreciate that. Our experience this far has been excellent and because of their kindness, honesty, and love for their work we will start installing our pool in January. I don't ever write company reviews; however, Eric and his team at Quality Fiberglass Pools are deservant of one. The process began with Eric coming over to provide a free on-site estimate. He listened and provided his opinion, which was welcomed and appreciated. I didn't feel the pressure of an upsell; he just took his time, patiently answering our questions and providing the data that I needed to make an educated decision. The quote was less expensive than his competition and timing was stated at 6 weeks from signing until excavation and 6 weeks from excavation until completion. Ours took 5 weeks and 5 weeks, respectively. I was present throughout the process, literally watching every step. I asked questions of the team and they were knowledgeable and friendly and didn't get frustrated with my presence. They walked me through the process, what they'd be doing, when and how. I appreciated the competence that was exhibited throughout the build phase. Similarly, I appreciated the collaboration on certain aspects that affected the aesthetics of the project - specific pool and spa location, pump location, pipe location for electrical and gas etc... We discussed what we would want versus what was possible and they were very accommodating. After the pool and spa were installed, filled and back-filled with sand, the next step was concrete. Drains were installed and I was able to do the necessary sprinkler and other sub-concrete installations I needed before the concrete was prepped and poured. With a separate group of theirs doing the concrete, they were still educated and competent, collaborative and provided opinion on function and aesthetics. After concrete, we were basically done, but for a few finishing touches. They were completed and we passed final inspection without issue. The yard looks incredible and the neatness and attention to detail of the work is notable. It's tough, seemingly picking a pool place out of the electronic "yellow pages." In this case, Quality Fiberglass Pools did such a phenomenal job (while being well priced), that it drove me to want to provide a review for others to read. I had a scheduled appointment with John Mitchell from Quality Fiberglass Pools on June 26th at noon. I took the entire day off work to be here and even had my boyfriend (a contractor) take time off work to be here as well. John from "Quality" Fiberglass Pools was a NO CALL NO SHOW! I was extremely excited about getting a recommendation and bid from "Quality" as he claimed there was a potential a summer pool was quite doable. All that was doable were, lost wages for ME and my boyfriend, disappointment and frustration as well. I also had several neighbors who were looking forward to my bid as they were interested in a pool at their homes as well. "Quality" Fiberglass Pools was recommended to me by HomeAdvisior that advertises "quality' pros and service. From my experience this is a joke. A NO call NO show is ANYTHING but professional and "quality". One may think that a simple missed appointment is "no big deal". But in this day and age, where competition is rampant, customer service and social media critical to a business' success AND the discretionary dollar dwindling by the day, one unprofessional act such as this can scar a business for life. ESPECIALLY, if the client screwed is someone like me WHO WILL NOT REMAIN SILENT. HomeAdvisor obviously does not screen it's "pros" and "Quality" Fiberglass Pools obviously does not need my business or the potential business of several neighbors in my upscale neighborhood. From the initial meeting to jumping in the first time, everything was handled professionally and personally. This is a family business and you can tell. I felt comfortable with every worker who was on our property and felt confident they knew what they were doing and were working hard to ensure our happiness. We are very happy we went with a fiberglass pool. The maintenance has been easy and the look and feel of the pool is perfect.
