Stakes were high. 2 weeks to move-in, 6 weeks to kiddo #2, and we needed new floors (1,600 sf) immediately. TLDR: Good value, great service and fast. Total satisfaction. Eddie responded to my initial email within 12 hours and was at the house within days for a quote. Through email we sent some color preferences, and he showed up with a stack of samples to view in the space. After introductions, I got a call, and he finished the measurements before I wrapped up. Super fast and efficient with the laser tape. We talked a few options, like baseboard, transitions, color, etc., and I had a quote later that day via text. My wife went to the showroom to finalize color selection, and narrowed it down from the hundreds of options. After getting three quotes, Quality was the middle bid, so we felt good with the numbers. We locked in the color and Eddie confirmed they could start a few days later with a 3-day install duration. A day after locking color, we found out it was not available. Bummer since we made a point to ask to only see available material, BUT we actually like what we ended up with more. With schedule unaffected we proceeded. Two workers showed up the day of, with Eddie driving the flatbed for material delivery. Super compact operation, working out of our garage. With vinyl flooring, they manually chop the short cuts with a big chopper, and they use a mini table saw for the long rips. Point being, there is some moderate tool noise and vinyl dust, but overall, the install is low impact and quiet. They tore out the old carpet, prepped the spaces, notified me of some toilet connection/seal issues, laid down vapor barrier, and slapped 80% of the new product down within 2 days. On the third day, they notified us of an internal family emergency, but said they'd be back on Mother's Day to finish the job. Family first, but the crew was back on Sunday, and pulled an extra long shift to get it done for the painter the following morning. Epic. Thank you, guys! Quality Flooring nailed it. We were scheduled to move into our new home in March and we had scheduled with a local home improvement store to do some work to prepare our place. Finally was able to settle on a tile installation company and they were what we thought outstandingly good people. Recieved a fair quote and received amazing discounts!! Although I was ready to move forward with the project I ran into a hardship getting the material I wanted from the tile store because of covid. The materials were hard to come by and have longer turn around times because of back order. I probably could have communicated that better however when we finally had material on hand this company stated we had a deposit to pay, which is fine but we were never given an amount for a deposit and the time we agreed on was no longer valid. The messages between myself and the "boss" got a little confusing because the person who contacted me tonight said the "boss" was the one who made and accepted the date. I didn't know an employee could override the bosses decision. The conversation was sour from the beginning and I knew they just didn't want to do business with us.. I told them we didn't have a problem with the deposit but we didn't have an amount. Also was just a bit annoyed because the "boss" said he could do the job in one day but then the person texting me tonight said they wouldn't have time till August of 2022. It was decided they didn't want to do the project from the start as they picked a date in the next year when it was said they had two dates in October. All because I couldn't rush the tile order from the shop it was purchased from. So hindsight is, better communication between company and project holder couls have helped and i thought it would be obvious to a contractor that they would know that during times of covid, material scarcity is a real issue right now. read more

I have remodeled a dozen homes in my lifetime. I have gone through many contractors. But since 2008 I haven't done any remodeling or flipping. I find that most contractors are as bad as automotive repair services. I have been trying to get bids to remodel my kitchen for the last year. I had guys come in and give me ridiculous estimates without offering any design or detail of costs. So I decided to get new flooring done through another company one of the major ones with television commercials. The workers had recommended to call their boss because he did kitchens. We called Saul and he was at our house in a week. I immediately had a good feeling about him. He gave me a fair price with 3-D designs to fully demonstrate what he was going to do. He said he would finish the job in 30 days. He got it done within 30 days and just had some touch up work to do which was done within a few weeks. It was a very large job creating a very large and beautiful kitchen and he did an amazing job with every single detail. As with any construction project there were problems along the way but Saul solved them and took care of them when he knew it was his mistake.
