Overcharged and Dishonest. Stay away! I was charged $468 for a 45 minute job that basically straightened out a roller bracket... no new parts. For that I was charged $179 for "Starting reset fee," $150 for "General rebuilding/modifying," $99 for "Flat labor rate," and $40 for "Service call trip and diagnosis fee"... that's over $10 per minute! I complained to Mitch that these charges were duplicative and he offered some reimbursement, which he never paid. I've tried to reach him several times, but no call back. I was happy with the technician and the installation of my new garage door. However, I was told that they would take care of the permitting. I contacted Bri many times and she said it was being handled. Now, over 6 months later the county contacted me to say an inspection was never scheduled by the company and I have a limited time before I have a problem. I emailed and got no response. Excellent experience. Their repair man called ahead, was able to get to the house earlier than originally scheduled (which was great), and was friendly and very professional. He diagnosed the problem with our garage door unit and had the needed part on hand, so the repair was very quick. Pricing was reasonable too. Update to December 2020 rating - After our concerns reached the manager, the employee came out and put in two garage door openers so we would be able to use remotes. The work was done quickly and efficiently, but it was a hassle getting to that point. If the technician had arrived at the time and date that he first started and done the work, this rating would have been 5 star. read more

Conner diagnosed the problem and installed a new garage door opener. He came back to install a keypad. He did a very professional job.

We ordered a custom garage door back in October 2023 due to a non-standard height. We were told that the turnaround time would be approximately one month since it was a custom made door, which we completely understood. However, we made a follow up phone call to them several times after the date it was supposed to be ready, and they kept saying each time that the door was not ready yet. It is January 18, 2024 and we are still waiting for our garage door. They setup an appointment to install the garage door today between 10-12, and after several calls to them, they finally told us that they wouldn't be able to honor today's appointment because they were running behind on their other jobs for the day. When I tried to re-schedule for tomorrow, they said we had to wait until Tuesday now because they already have appointments scheduled for Friday and Monday. Whoever is scheduled for tomorrow should be pushed until after our job is completed since we were scheduled today. We also had to make several phone calls to them to work out the details of the building permit. I'm beyond frustrated with this company. read more

Our garage door had jammed several times, and one time the cable came completely off the spool, and we wanted immediate service. We had just been through Hurricane Irma, and Quality Garage Door Services was very busy with repairs. The person who took our call was professional and caring. We were scheduled for between 6 to 8 pm for the next day, and I understand that usually they would come faster than that. Jason called to let us know exactly when he would be coming. He arrived at 8:30 pm and in an hour had completely repaired our garage door hardware, which was very old. He had been working all day. Jason was polite and gave us several options, but we wanted all the hardware replaced. I felt sure that he would need to order something, but he had everything he needed right with him in his truck. The price was reasonable. It's so great to find an honest and polite company, and such a relief to not be terrified that we will be unable to get our car out of the garage. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more
