My garage door opener (motorized) fell apart this morning, much to my dismay. I first called the person who had installed that one...he said he was busy and would call back ( 3-4 hours later he finally did). I decided I needed help/repair sooner rather than later. He came within an hour, explained the problem clearly, and told me, up front, how much it would be to replace the entire assembly. Turns out the motor that had been installed about 6 years ago was completely inadequate for the weight of my "hurricane rated" garage door. Steven was incredible! Yesterday, I told my husband I couldn't open the garage door and that we really needed to get the sensors fixed. My garage door simply wasn't functioning properly. I could not make the new remotes work. The existing remotes only worked some of the time. I finally broke down and via Angi found the Garagers. Steven was here in a heartbeat. He immediately diagnosed the issue which turned out to be a bad mother board in my 30 year old motor. He replaced only what was needed and did not try to up-sell me into replacing the entire garage door system. Although it's probably in need. I will be calling Steven back when I do have it replaced. I had an old outdated garage that fell off the tracks nearly crushing my son.
