The pictures on their site and on hotels.com are definitely not a real representation of this place! It's old, run down and barely above a motel. While they are repainting and changing the flooring it is truly lipstick on a pig. The cheap vinyl floor tiles that replaced the old carpets were not an upgrade and the new paint barely covers up the smoke smell in the rooms. Furniture is not only outdated, but broken and beat up. There is clearly no pride taken in this place. Should of spent the $20 more for the next hotel option!

There's a reason the MASSIVE Holiday Inn next door is always completely booked. The Quality Inn & Suites CVG Airport (1805 Airport Exchange Blvd Erlanger, KY) is an utter dump! If you're happy sleeping in a garbage can like Oscar The Grouch, this is your kind of place! Gather 'round, y'all, and listen to the tale of five weary travelers heading home to Michigan from vacation down in Florida. Booked the hotel directly through their website while on the road. We arrived at 12:37 a.m. There was nobody at the front desk. I rang the bell - no answer. I called out - no answer. Receipts laying within hand's reach with FULL CREDIT CARD NUMBERS on them. I called hotel direct. Phone behind desk rang and rang. No signs of life. After 20 minutes, a couple toting suitcases came into the lobby. I explained that nobody was apparently running the hotel. Seconds after talking to them, a man (hobbling like he had been hit by a car) walked in and went around behind desk, sat down and looked at me. "How can I help you?". Apparently, the front desk person is also the airport shuttle driver! He just left his post to go pick this couple up at the airport! It gets worse. I check in and tell the other couple "Good luck!" We get to our suite. No key card - the room keypad code is the room number with a "zero" added onto the end. Room 212 code is 2120. Literally throughout the hotel! Every room is accessible, because they never set a specific code for you! I can go there this weekend and walk into any room, because I know all the codes. UNSAFE! Room is an absolute DUMP. Slick one-sheet linoleum throughout - slip and fall lawsuit waiting to happen. Fold out couch and easy chair are ratty old hotel furniture from the 90's with covers on them! Person who was sleeping on it decided to not remove cover or open bed, just threw the sheet onto the couch to sleep. Shower has mold, wetbar sink drain has mold. "dining area" in suite was an old faux marble-top high table with stools. Obviously bought second hand damaged and reassembled incorrectly. Lightbox in "kitchenette" was repaired incorrectly multiple times and would have cut someone reaching up to it. Toilet in bathroom had a loose seat-nut underneath. If you sat down, you would fall off the toilet - yet another lawsuit... I reached under and secured it (immediately scrubbing my hands afterward). There was a lone cabinet pulled 8 inches from the wall with this GENIUS set-up of plugging the television into an extension cord... when there is an outlet right there... AND THE OUTLET WORKED (we plugged one of our phones in to it)! Speaking of outlets - take a look at this "quality" job with the outlets in the "kitchenette". We used a luggage cart to bring our items up, and I blocked the door with it - since the keypad codes were virtually useless - I slept with one eye open all night. Next morning, our group decided to skip showering and just get the hell out of there - except for one of us - who told us that there is no hot water, so they took a cold shower. With 5 in our group, I decided to use the lobby bathroom, so I didn't have to wait in a line. You'll find pictures of that nightmare below. Damned good thing we didn't want to use the pool. It is closed indefinitely. Empty, yet security gate is propped open for any unsuspecting guest to fall into a concrete pit. Check out? These thieves try to swindle you out of $1.50 for use of the room-safe (which we never used)... then charge you a $5.00 "resort fee". I asked what it is for. This was the morning clerk's answer: "For the FREE breakfast, the FREE wi-fi, the FREE pool, the FREE shuttle service." (NONE OF WHICH WE USED) I responded "You literally just said those are FREE. Do you not understand what that word means?" The guy got an attitude, and started arguing with me. I told him I wanted a receipt and copy of what I signed when I checked in. He got really pissy about that, slammed things around, and threw the papers at me. I told him I would be disputing the charges with Choice Hotel Credit Card - who they are part of. HEED MY WORDS: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, STEP FOOT ONTO THIS WEED-RIDDEN PROPERTY OR GIVE THESE THIEVES ONE SINGLE PENNY OF YOUR MONEY. This cesspool is tantamount to a $39.99 roadside motel, and should be shut down immediately.

Don't park there! They claim that it is a 'secured' parking lot. It's not! All four of my wheels were stolen overnight. And they didn't even have security cameras. No help, no apology. All I have right now is a police report.

Convenient to airport, good morning breakfast, but little to no flexibility with late check out.

    Their shuttle VAN

I came to quality Inn 6:50am, shuttle should be every 30 min,(please arrive 10 min before), so I'm here for 7am shuttle and 10 min before They told me driver is left already next one is 7:30 I waited and we left at 7:32 am No good, you can't rely on their promises, with this being said, you could of missed your flight

No handle in the shower... why not?

I agree with the other reviews. I ignored some other site reviews because of price, but that was a mistake. The night staff was young and flaky. When we arrived it was a young girl and when I went to find her because we had problems with the key a min. later she was outside smoking already. She was sweet though immature for a night position like that. Then when I went to complain about the AC the young man that was there did nothing, but right it down in a spiral notebook. He didn't even offer another room, which according to the morning staff there was space he could have done that. The morning staff used the excuse that because the AC units are expensive they are only slowly replacing them. Sir, it is a HOTEL you fork out money to get customers to cover those costs. If you don't want to spend money than save us all time and our money and just close. The morning staff, who I think was the manager, but didn't want us to know, was rude. My mom was gracious and kind thanked him multiple times and every time he just didn't ignored her. No "your welcome"...nothing. Well sir you just lost more stars for your hotel. No one treats my family like that, especially my parents. I don't care how nice your place is. Food was so-so. They were already out of waffle mix at 6:30 am. I gave them one star, because the room was clean even if flaky and another star only because of the friendly shuttle driver, who is obviously working his tail off. They do allow people to park long term in there parking lot for $4 a day, if you don't want to pay the airport long-term fees. I think they offer this just so their parking lot is full to make people think they are good.

Plenty of nearby developments happening around this place. Friendly staff too! Around the hotel there are great amenities like a great lobby to hang out at. There's a fireplace outside, a pool, tennis court and a fitness room too. It's almost like being at a luxury apartment. The rooms are spacious too for the price point! Rooms are pretty modern too except the thermostat in the rooms. They're old school from the 80's it didn't bother me personally, I was entertained by it. Clean bathrooms with powerful shower heads. Complimentary breakfast was solid too with a large dining room and fair amount of choices. I would happily come back here again in the future.

The layout of the property is kind of sprawling, but there are plenty of parking spaces and doors so that you could pretty much park very close to where your room is. That said, if you have a suitcase on wheels, or if it is challenging to step up and down by curbs, be prepared to deal with a lack of accessible ramps and curb cutaways. It was clean and dry and quiet with a few lucky into the courtyard area that has the pool and stuff. Even though there were lots of happy kids splashing in the pool and playing you'd never know they were there because it is quiet and I guess well insulated. It was nice to see lots of families and kids from babies to teenagers enjoying the hotel, and they were very well behaved. The bed was very comfortable and just the right height to sit on. The desk clerks are OK but once you check in, don't expect them to help you out in anyway. For instance, if you order food in from some local restaurant, delivery from the lobby is not going to happen because apparently there is no one who can spend three minutes of their time to carry a bag from the lobby to a guest's room. Good luck, trying to coordinate a delivery driver to deliver to a room when all the buildings are locked and the lobby clerk cannot be bothered. The hot breakfast buffet has decent scrambled eggs. However, if you are a bagel person, they do not have bagels on the buffet every day. The big draw is the smell of the waffle iron that makes vanilla scented waffles. The little kids in particular get really jazzed about the waffles and the line for them gets to be really long. Their coffee is OK and even though it doesn't taste strong after about 3 cups a person does feel a bit jittery. Older reviews for this hotel mentioned issues with the shower structure, that there is no door just a panel that stretches halfway. Since then, I suppose they fixed that problem and the shower has a sliding door along with the panel so that aspect of being open to the elements with the water spraying out onto the floor has been resolved. If I were traveling with a family having kids, the hotel could possibly be a good choice, though the sofa bed probably is tremendously uncomfortable as to be expected.

We checked into our room around 11 PM, and received great customer service from Bridget. Our room was clean, and this was a decent place to stay before our early flight the next morning. You just can't beat the location - it's less than 10 minutes to the main airport terminal. The main reason we selected this hotel was their "Park Here, Fly There" program. For less than $200, we spent the night before our flight, and then registered our car and left it parked for up to seven days at the hotel. After the room rate, the parking comes out to around $10/day, which is so much cheaper than many of the other options nearby. They even have a FREE shuttle to the airport that leaves every 30 minutes. It operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and I can confirm that because we used this service on Christmas morning! The shuttle will even pick you up from the airport and bring you back to the hotel when you land on your return flight - though we ended up just taking an Uber because we didn't want to wait in the cold. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a convenient place to stay before a flight with ample and inexpensive parking! We'd definitely book this package again the next time we fly out of CVG.
